The large, professional, courteous and efficient crew, was effectively led by Nathaniel (aka Tiger) and worked exceptionally well as Team for two full days to deliver a high quality job; on time, on budget, as expected. I bid this job to four licensed, bonded and insured companies, met with each firm for over and hour to review the job prior to bids submitted, I checked reviews/references and after diligent evaluation I selected E & Sons...and I am very glad I did..! It happened about a month ago and I thought the stains would go away after time, but no.The owner, Elija came right out and addressed the situation. He said he was out of town when it occurred and thought his workers took care of it by throwing down some dirt and hosing it down, which they probably did, but didn't work very well. Anyways Elija made good on putting down gallons of degreaser and hosing it down. I appreciated his quick response and hoping for a good outcome. He was rated highly by our neighbor by installing an asphalt driveway and their work looks very well done. Thank you.

They did the demolition and then it took weeks to get them to remove the hazardous debris. They finally removed the debris and we proceeded to move forward with phase 2, the acquisition of materials. After payment no materials and after many calls, no response. The GM, Chris Fischer, with whom we worked with on the scope of work and estimates, told us he no longer works for the company. We contacted MD and their license is suspended, they do not occupy space at the address given, and we are moving forward with a formal complaint and lawsuit. Save yourself the loss and headache.

Since then, over a month has passed with no work done and nearly no communication. We were dealing with Jack, the owner, who initially responded; but after taking our deposit, he stopped answering our calls completely. We tried following up multiple times with no luck. Eventually, we had our admin office call on our behalf, and they actually picked up, gave a date to be on-site, and then, again, didn't show up. After that, they started ignoring our admin's calls too. Then on October 1, a random person called us saying someone would be at the site on October 2 or 3. When we pushed back, saying this was the third time we were promised a date, the caller admitted they had no idea about our project; they were just told to call and say someone would show up. Unsurprisingly, no one came, and since then, we've been completely ghosted again. We now have no choice but to hire a different company, which is delaying our own business operations and impacting our clients. After checking Yelp, we discovered this company has done the same thing to others, taking deposits and not following through. We feel scammed and are demanding a full refund of our $4,500 deposit. This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. Avoid East Coast Concrete at all costs.
