Did a great job repaving my driveway. Had an asphalt paving expert look at it and he said as much. With that said they were not going to cut certain parts of the driveway that would have looked sloppy if they hadn't. However since I asked they did. So if you know exactly what you want you should make that explicit. Otherwise they did a solid job. read more

Keith and team arrived when they said they would, used a Bobcat to tear up weakened areas of the access road, and filled in the divots in the first pass. Then a clean 2.5-inch top layer applied. If you want a driveway that looks like it's straight out of the pages of a home improvement magazine, call Keith Allison Paving! I contacted the business early in the spring after it was difficult to find another local company that wasn't tied up in business contracts. Based on the pictures of the driveway I sent, they recommended driveway resurfacing rather than just resealing. (He said it was up to us, but they couldn't guarantee that resealing would fix the cracks in the long term.) I did some research on the "alligator cracking" we were experiencing and agreed that we probably needed to go for a resurfacing. We were quoted a fair price and made an appointment. I got another email a few days before our original appointment time to let me know about the team's earlier availability. It worked out with both our schedules, so the team was able to make it out even earlier than expected. They really have an incredible team. Everyone worked together throughout the job and I was very impressed with how coordinated everything was every time I peeked outside to see the progress. Having dealt with adding a driveway extension a few years ago, I could tell they were using quality materials and professional machinery. They used multiple machines to develop the new top layer of the driveway and smooth it out to perfection. They watered down the driveway and used leaf blowers to make sure everything was finished/cleaned appropriately. The team carefully arranged the grass and mulch bordering the driveway, even hosing down and sweeping the street. Once everything was completed, we went over the aftercare: don't park on the drive for at least 10 days, "water" the driveway to help it cool and cure, and a recommendation for a final seal after a month. We are so happy with how everything turned out--and so are our neighbors. (One even asked for a quote before the team left because she was so impressed!) With the rain, I worried the moisture was going to get into our driveway/foundation and cause issues over time. Their estimator Pete was excellent and gave us a quote within a minute. It wasn't worth just repairing a chunk of our driveway and opted to re-pave instead. He gave us all the info we needed (can walk on within a day, but allow for 7 days of no parking) and the crew came out right on time. I am super impressed with this company! I requested a quote at 9PM on a Friday night and got an email response 3 hours later (at midnight the same day). Keith came by to price out sealing my driveway the very next day even though it was the weekend (Saturday). He answered my questions when I asked about price comparisons with another company. He explained that his company uses an oil-based sealer (which is more expensive than the water-based sealer used by other local companies). He also guarantees the sealing for 1 year unlike other companies. And finally, he fills cracks (unlike other companies that "attempt" to fill cracks). read more

We called Keith Allison to repair a large sinkhole area in our driveway. Three years ago, they had repaired just a portion of the driveway at our request. The repaired portion held up very well, but eventually, the rest of the driveway developed more sinkhole issues. So this time, we asked them to do the entire apron. They brought lots of heavy equipment, cutting up the problem area, laying down a rock foundation and then smoothing the asphalt over the top. This is what the builder should have done. KA's crew were prompt, fair and professional. The driveway looks as if it will hold up for years. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again, although I really hope that our sinkhole days are behind us. We hired them to replace our driveway that had deteriorated and cracks throughout. They gave us the best price and arrived on time on the agreed-upon day for the work. And wow did they work diligently and effectively. They had a large crew and seemed to all work well together. We used this company to put an asphalt driveway in for a 4 unit building. It looked great, but after about 2 years, it seemed like it was falling apart. This was out of the warranty period of 1 year; however, they still came back and repaired the driveway for us. They figured the driveway began deteriorating because it is only designed for small cars to be parked on it, and across the alley they had just finished putting in a concrete driveway. Its likely that the damage was a result of the large concrete trucks using the driveway to load or unload material (or maybe just to park), and this resulted in the damage. Regardless, the honored their work, even though the cause of the damage likely not related to their workmanship. read more
