Just Mystic is a store in downtown Mystic where you can find a variety of these hoodies, t-shirts and hats for the whole family. This cotton is heavy duty, but still light and breezy, it is made to be worn, so it only gets comfier with each wear. Just Mystic merchandise isn't cheap, one of their basic sweatshirts without the hood will run you $65 - $75. These make an excellent gift for someone who you've visited Mystic with but isn't from the area.

I bought a pair of Sperry Boats, which I wore out of the store after they gracefully threw away my old, beat up ones. My fiancé purchased a Vineyard Vines Shep Shirt and a rain shawl (which she's very happy about). This shop will do very well and I'm happy to have given them business. I was delighted to find that they donate to save the elephants so the next day I went directly to Ivory Ella's website. Unfortunately, since their products were sold in the boutique I've been shopping in for years, it didn't cross my mind to check the company's reviews. They advertised "guaranteed delivery" before Christmas AND 10% off my first order so I placed an order for 6 items to the tune of $237. The order was placed 12/20/19. I hadn't received the code for the 10% off so I sent an email asking them to apply it to my order and to confirm I would receive it before Christmas. On 12/21/19 I received a response to my email saying they couldn't apply the 10% discount because I had already applied a discount code to my order but no response to my second question to confirm the guaranteed delivery before Christmas. They also stated that my order had been shipped and provided a DHL tracking number. And here we go!! 12/21 - I clicked on the tracking number it said "en route to DHL" but did not give an expected delivery date. The DHL site also showed a USPS tracking number. I clicked on that and it said "USPS awaiting package" 12/22 - same status as above 12/23 - same status as above 12/24 - same status as above. Called Ivory Ella to try to find out what was going on but could only leave a voicemail and sent a message via email. NO callback. NO response to my email. 12/25 - NO changes in tracking status 12/26 - DHL update: "Arrived at DHL facility" USPS update: "awaiting package". Still NO callback and NO response to email from Ivory Ella. Called several times during the day and no calls were answered. Didn't bother leaving another voicemail, no point. 12/27 - DHL Tracking states it "departed DHL. En route to USPS" with an estimated delivery date of 12/30. USPS site says "awaiting package" ......still NO response from Ivory Ella. Clearly, there must be another definition for "guaranteed delivery" that I am unaware of. Of course in checking out Ivory Ella's reviews after the fact, it seems this their normal protocol. I have no doubt they were well aware the items would not be delivered before Christmas from the start. Which, in retrospect, would explain why they didn't confirm delivery by Christmas in my original email. It's shameful that a company that considers themselves upstanding and giving would be so negligent to the folks that enable them to give. I'm not sure when I will receive the items. At this point, I'm not confident I'll receive them at all.

Locally I've been to the FatFace stores in New Haven, Newport and in Mystic. While in the Mystic store recently, they treated shoppers to iced tea and cookies. I like the selection of items they offer. There's a nice variety of tops, jeans, skirts, dresses, leather wallets and purses, and more. However, the prices are very high, even for the most basic items. The items are good quality, but very similar items can be found at plenty of other retailers at a much more appropriate cost. I can't see myself purchasing anything here. While the store is in a vary attractive area, and it's always beautifully set up, staff is also very friendly and attentive, the items aren't anything unique, and similar items can be found in many other places. I simply can't recommend shopping here.
