The good thing about O'Hare is that it is a major hub for flights, both domestic and international, since it sits in the middle of the country. Of course, getting to downtown Chicago or coming from there can be a challenge, depending on when you're traveling. The Chicago Thruway traffic can be a fright, where you will be on the road for anywhere from 50 minutes to 90 minutes. Coming from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, direct flights to Chicago are plentiful, so getting there is a breeze unless there's a blizzard or some other disastrous weather pattern that may lead to permanent doom. Fortunately, that wasn't the case on our flight earlier this month. Now, reaching the baggage claim can be a bit of a walk, and even more so if you don't know where to find the area to pick up your ride share. That can be incredibly confusing, since it's on the Departures level, not the Arrivals level. The food vendors are not that great if you are gluten-free, like my wife is. For me, I found a spot with Chicago dogs and deep dish, which I enjoyed one more time before boarding our flight back to Fort Lauderdale. For as large and important as O'Hare is as a hub, the terminals and gate seating areas are at least 20 years out of date. But it still works as a major airport, with flights going in and out at all hours of the day.

After getting FindMy showed me that the iPad location had moved from the airport to a neighboring town, i reached out to ARS via phone, chat and email with no response except a canned "we haven't found anything but boy we are working hard" email message. After a couple of days, I got a response to my email that said that they were sorry I felt like things weren't working, but they were still doing their best. I have no confidence that they lifted a finger to do anything but take my money.
