Level of care by nursing staff during the day shift borders on negligence. Care in the ER pods feels like a nursing home--forgetting patient meals, bedding not changed, infusion machine going off for 1.5 hours beeping without anyone caring to turn it off.

I also want to say I have low expectations of places like this in general but just wanted a quick strep and flu test because otherwise the ailment my child has is likely a virus/nasty cold with nothing to do but wait. Our primary didn't have appointment times compatible with our schedules so we took the calculated risk to go here for the strep and flu tests. As other have said, appointments don't do much here. We were there 1 1/2 hours for what we found to be subpar care. The doctor's uniform was completely unkempt - dirty even. He did not examine my child's throat until I told him that he'd just spit out blood in his phlegm. Rather ridiculous on account of the primary complaint was a super sore throat. He deduced that it was possible my child had GERD instead of the more logical conclusion that the small amount of blood was related to the drying of the sinuses or irritation. Fortunately for me, my child and I are under speciality care by one of the better medical institutions for GI ailments so . To suggest this off the cuff with zero other relevant & corresponding symptomology was actually laughable. He even asked if my child had spicy food that could cause this. I mean, actually ridiculous when the corresponding symptoms are chunky phlegm and a really sore throat that began with a sudden onset the last 24 hours without regard to food. He left to get us our checkout paperwork without listening to his lungs or heart which he did when we were quite literally walking out the door - probably realizing this should have been part of any sick exam. He never looked in his nasal cavities or examined his sinuses. He left us with a diagnosis of allergic rhinitis which I actually specifically told him the symptoms were not consistent with his allergic presentation or a throat that felt like he was swallowing glass. Anyway, it's likely a cold and I know it's not strep or the flu which is what I went for but it was such a ridiculous experience I had to warn others. The doctor was affable and polite but just not someone I'd trust in situations not involving corroborating lab work.

As patients, we have the right to know what the results of our blood tests are as part of an annual check up covered under insurance, even if the doctor recommends otherwise. I can't think of a reason why an internist would deny a standard blood test at an annual check-up other than being absolutely lazy. Checking blood work every 5-10 years leaves opportunities to miss early detection for a variety of diseases that can be seen before actual symptoms occur, and Dr. Tang robbed my wife of that. Find yourself a doctor who will actually take their job seriously.

JHH Medicare advantage Is buying names and street addresses from a marketing company to send out Via USPS junk mailings for medicare advantage advertisements. When you call the phone number in the junk mailings of 833-..etc....... a Dial America employees answer. Dial America was hired and paid by JHH Medicare Advantage to try and coax consumers to sign up for this program. JHH med Advantage program has been sending me USPS mailings for me for years. With someone elses name on my street address. I am the only one living in this home ever. I have opted out thru Dial AMerica and thru elaine dorsey and douglas hill. They all have put me on a 1 year or 3 year computer supressed system. Out of concern for someone elses name being associated with my street address I called the county tax records to see if this name was an error there. it wasnt. Everytime you call JHH medicare adv program they all say we can opt you out. Take all your inofrmation and never opt you out. This is dishonesty by JHH. I need the marketing company that JHH medicare adv program is buying street address and names from. I would call the marketing company to clear up the inaccurate name and get myself deleted from the marketing company. So JHH could not buy my address anymore. Since the chairs are in the same room there is no patient privacy. Despite my requests to see the nurse even as i was willing to pay, i had to tell her and others heard. She indicated that it wasnt a valid reason to see the doctor and she would not let me see her. I could not believe it. I asked her to talk to the nurse and she did but then came back and told me that the answer was no. I said, are you really not going to let me see the nurse? She said yes... They always lead with the happenstance that there is a long wait. However, they move as quick as they can. I did have a long wait but they were able to handle my problem quickly. Patch me up, provide me with antibiotics and pain meds, and send me in my way home. Doctors and PAs provide great recommendations and actually care about you as a whole. No racism or prejudice. I appreciate this location! I would definitely go back. They are my hidden gem

New owners have messed this place up!…read more We have been to this urgent care a few times Before the new owners took over and it was a good experience. Now I have gotten 2 bills for a visit over 4 months ago due to the wrong insurance being given to third party labs. When I called this office to verify our insurance they have the correct information at the front desk. I asked for the billing department and was told they will have the same information so it's a waste of time to call. I still called and got forwarded to a voicemail mid business day. These labs are getting the wrong info from somewhere but I won't know because billing doesn't answer their phone. I'll be finding another urgent care from now on. They get a 2 because the visit was mediocre and not treated as "urgent" but we still got seen.
