I really like this Patient First! I usually go to the one in Bowie but this one is closer for me…read more Everyone was warm and took my concerns seriously. They always lead with the happenstance that there is a long wait. However, they move as quick as they can. I did have a long wait but they were able to handle my problem quickly. Patch me up, provide me with antibiotics and pain meds, and send me in my way home. Doctors and PAs provide great recommendations and actually care about you as a whole. No racism or prejudice. I appreciate this location! I would definitely go back. They are my hidden gem

But all these nice mitigations only barely offset complete failure of the vital functions. After putting my time, money, and hopes to stop suffering into Patient First, they decided I was meant to bear the pain. Never request pain medication; once in several years max, if in serious pain. Referred by dental office who assured me "Patient First will take it seriously". Recieved the tiny amount of medicine needed to make it to the dentist in 18 hours. Thanks for leaving me writhing in pain! No dentist open all weekend long so I guess I get to use street fentanyl for the first time so pick up where the insensitive **** at Patient First leave off.

Nobody wants to get sick while out of town. But this place was amazing…read more Due to my health condition giving me constant UTI and kidney infections, I knew it was time to go in and get antibiotics. They have a private parking lot (with tons of up close parking) When I walked in I was the only patient in the waiting room, Maddie immediately was concerned (she was working the front desk taking all the information) she told me I looked like I was in excruciating pain and was genuinely concerned. I explained to her what was going on, and she said she would have to check with the doctor if they would even see me or send me to a Hospital. Not even 2 minutes later the doctor came out and I explained everything to her, she told me 100 percent to come on back and she would see me. I was then taken back to the exam room and Camille took my vitals. She commented on my heart rate being really high and how I looked really uncomfortable, she was extremely genuine talking to me. I know every doctor and nurse usually say things like this, but when Camille told me she wishes she could help take my pain away and hopes I get better soon, I could tell she really meant it. megan jendrossek, the provider that saw me, was extremely helpful, down to earth and sincere. This is the first time in a long time that I've been to an urgent care / hospital where it didn't seem like a factory. It actually felt like they cared. I have no idea why this place has such a low rating. This place went above and beyond and they even called me the next day to check on me. They asked how I was doing and if I had any further questions. They were extremely warm and professional. the provider, megan jendrossek noticed my dad in the waiting room and asked if she could talk to him and thank him for his service (noticed his military shirt) and talked to him for a bit and how her father did 30 years. So she was extremely friendly and personable This place literally got me in and out of here in about 45 minutes IF THAT. It was that fast. They knew I was heading out of town with my dad for two days and needed antibiotics ASAP. They sent it to the fastest pharmacy they knew and we were on the road within 1 hour total. (Thank you to mikes pharmacy for getting me my medications ready within 15 minutes) 10 stars for Maddie 10 stars for Camille 10 stars for megan Thank you, for taking care of me. I 100 percent recommend this place and will return whenever I'm at my dads The exam rooms were nice size, they were clean and the bathroom was clean as well. The chairs in the waiting room were really nice, they take a bunch of different insurance's, they listened to my needs instead of just sending me to the hospital. This location also serves veterans (instead of veterans having to go all the way to the VA)

The only reason I'm giving this two stars instead of one is because the front desk staff and…read morenurses/medical assistants are lovely so this bad review should not be a reflection on them. I also want to say I have low expectations of places like this in general but just wanted a quick strep and flu test because otherwise the ailment my child has is likely a virus/nasty cold with nothing to do but wait. Our primary didn't have appointment times compatible with our schedules so we took the calculated risk to go here for the strep and flu tests. As other have said, appointments don't do much here. We were there 1 1/2 hours for what we found to be subpar care. The doctor's uniform was completely unkempt - dirty even. He did not examine my child's throat until I told him that he'd just spit out blood in his phlegm. Rather ridiculous on account of the primary complaint was a super sore throat. He deduced that it was possible my child had GERD instead of the more logical conclusion that the small amount of blood was related to the drying of the sinuses or irritation. Fortunately for me, my child and I are under speciality care by one of the better medical institutions for GI ailments so . To suggest this off the cuff with zero other relevant & corresponding symptomology was actually laughable. He even asked if my child had spicy food that could cause this. I mean, actually ridiculous when the corresponding symptoms are chunky phlegm and a really sore throat that began with a sudden onset the last 24 hours without regard to food. He left to get us our checkout paperwork without listening to his lungs or heart which he did when we were quite literally walking out the door - probably realizing this should have been part of any sick exam. He never looked in his nasal cavities or examined his sinuses. He left us with a diagnosis of allergic rhinitis which I actually specifically told him the symptoms were not consistent with his allergic presentation or a throat that felt like he was swallowing glass. Anyway, it's likely a cold and I know it's not strep or the flu which is what I went for but it was such a ridiculous experience I had to warn others. The doctor was affable and polite but just not someone I'd trust in situations not involving corroborating lab work.

Walked in just now to be seen and I was turned away because they have "3 lacerations in the back."…read more If you are going to post hours where you close at 9pm, then you should state your cut off time for walk ins. I drove all the way here right after work hoping to be seen.
