Kate is based in Lancaster, but has a fairly wide area that she'll cover --- we never would have thought to consider a Lancaster-based vendor for our Delaware wedding, but she was happy to oblige and seemed to be a much better value than florists in/around Philadelphia and the Main Line. She was also willing to work with our budget despite it being a little below her usual minimum, and she was respectful of this limit throughout the process. We had an initial call with Kate and our wedding planner to review our design boards, and we'd opted to give Kate a fair amount of flexibility to use whatever florals she felt were appropriate for our vibe and color scheme. This allowed her to choose the most beautiful blooms available that weekend; I'm convinced some of the blooms in my bridal bouquet were literally the most perfect flowers I've ever seen, put together so gorgeously with the perfect amount of whimsy. In addition to bein so sweet and responsive, Kate truly took our Powerpoint design board and brought it to life in a way that was even more beautiful than we could have imagined.

We cannot stop talking about how truly perfect the day was because of David! His attention to detail and organizational skills and ability to truly create our vision amazed myself and all of our guests! Everyone could not stop raving about how gorgeous the setup was and how seamless the transitions were from one phase of the wedding to the next- that was absolutely a reflection of all of David's work and love that he put into the space! When it came to the rehearsal, it is common that wedding coordinators can be pushy, humorless, and impatient. David was anything but. Preparing and instructing two dozen people (including little children) to be ready for the big day can be a stressful task and David demonstrated only tact and professionalism. He was assertive and clear on what needed to be done and was respectful to everyone involved. David had recommended that my husband and I see the reception area prior to the guests. It was such a special moment for us to share together in the beautiful space he had created. He is also the most prepared person I've ever met. There was not a single scenario that he was not ready for and did not have a solution for. I could write on and on about how vital David was in making our day one we will truly never ever forget!!!

We signed the contract, paid the deposit and thought we had everything lined up until a few months before the wedding when we received an email from him that read "Due to an unfortunate and unforeseeable event, it is with deep regret that I must inform you I will be unable to provide DJ services for your upcoming wedding. At this time I have not been able to find a suitable replacement and feel it best that you have ample time to secure a DJ on your own who will meet your specific needs." After asking the DJ what was the reason for the abrupt cancellation, he never provided a response and just returned our deposit. He continued to provide DJ services to others since so we never found out the reason for his cancellation. Thankfully, it was a blessing in disguise as we were able to land an awesome DJ instead who rocked our wedding. We are glad that we did not have to use Great Scott Productions and would advise others to think twice before using him!
