I was awakened extremely rudely my first night of my stay at 1 AM by the people next to me yelling, screaming, partying, and fighting. I called the front desk and it rang and rang for five minutes before someone answered, then it took him a while to do anything. It went on so long I struggled to get back to sleep and was sleepy all day. But the second night was better, quiet and uneventful. But please, do more about obnoxious, yelling, screaming guests. They ruined the stay for me, but if front desk had dealt with it quicker and more decisively, this would have been a higher rating.

There was a desk and TV as well. We were in a bit of a time crunch - staying for a wedding with the shuttle and check-in times colliding - and Bridget was able to check us in early! While she couldn't promise early access (I assume this is standard), it was clear that the staff went above and beyond to ensure we could check in and make the shuttle. Everyone was friendly. I thought we were missing towels (despite staring directly at them) and the front desk brought them up within 2 minutes of me calling. My mistake!! But they were so attentive and helpful. Breakfast from 6-10 - your basic suspects - is a nice perk. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend if they needed a room for the night.

There is 30 minute parking for customers - apparently the employee told a friend of ours that they do tow away cars (I guess of hikers) but I don't know how much they enforce the time aspect.

The beds here are relatively hard. My body is so sore from sleeping in these beds. The next time I come back, I will be returning to the Holiday Inn express. This is not a bad hotel. My biggest complaint is the comfort level in the beds. If you prefer a harder bed, this hotel is probably right for you.

My concern is not that the hotel allows pets--it's the lack of cleanliness throughout the property. I am staying in Room 209, and upon arrival, the floors had not been swept, and there was hair throughout the bathroom. The entire second floor has a strong odor of dog urine and feces. Even more concerning, I observed what appeared to be pet urine and feces in the common areas, extending from the dining area through the lobby and hallways. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel. If my room were not prepaid, I would be checking out immediately and booking a room at a Marriott property. I will also be sharing this experience on multiple hotel review sites because travelers deserve to know the conditions before booking. I do want to make it clear that this review is not a reflection of the front desk associate, Ale. She was professional, kind, and very accommodating. When I requested a broom and room spray because of the condition of my room, she happily provided both, and I returned them shortly afterward. Check in was a breeze and the lovely lady working the evening I got into town was happy and just extremely pleasant to deal with. she got me on my way in a few moments after I arrived. Rooms were good sized and very clean- as were all areas of the establishment: Common areas, hallways etc. Bed was comfy, and the hot water was hot - without having to wait forever. Perfect. In the morning, they offer what I would say is one of the best free breakfasts I've had in quite some time. Coffee was not only hot, but tasted very good - a rare find these days. The hot offerings changed daily and pretty much every dietary preference was covered in some fashion. the folks doing kitchen duty were obviously very dedicated to their jobs, and it showed. Round it all out with an indoor pool and fitness center as well as a small outdoor patio seating area, and you have a very good place to unwind after a long day of meetings or whatever it is that brings you to town. Overall a wonderful experience and I would absolutely use this location again if back in the area.
