Came in as a walk-in and JROC was our barber!!! He was legit! My sons and I were extremely satisfied. I always have issues finding or trusting anyone to cut my hair but after seeing my son's results, I will be making an appointment! One of the best barbers in Katy, highly recommend. I am extremely please to write a review on behalf of Samson at B Loft Barbershop in Katy. Samson was extremely professional, greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome to the shop. As for the cut: the fade is 100% spot on and the sheer (scissor cutting for you non technical folks) is 99.999% to my liking. For a first time cut experience, he was comfortable with the nuances of my Asian hair, he has 30 years of experience and has earned a repeat customer. If you are a customer with straight hair (white, Asian, Latino) Samson has the proficiencies to cut you hair! I'm writing this for my fiancé as he is not one to complain. We just moved to Katy and my fiancé was looking for a haircut and beard trim. He walked in and did not have an appointment so he signed in and was second on the list. The first person was called up and my fiancé should have been next however multiple people were called up before him, including people who had just walked in. He was told he would be next about 3-4 times. He was patient and assumed that some people may have had an appointment but after waiting for an hour and a half, he realized he was purposely being ignored and left. He was there to pay for services he needed, if you don't want someone's business please don't waste their time. DONT SAY YOU ACCEPT WALK INS IF YOU DONT! This place deserves 0 stars as he was barely even acknowledged. read more

Has the potential to be great. I got my haircut from the owner great guy lacks creativity and common sense. My haircut was all jacked up. My sideburns were not even I had asked for a low fade and he just gave me a cut. I don't do edge ups on the forehead I like to keep the natural look. He ended up giving me a edge up just because everyone comes to him for that "not me" I didn't even have the lines to indicate that I do that. I was really disappointed with my cut I was hoping it would work but it didn't. My advice just because everyone does it does not mean you do. You have to be VERY specific with everything that you want. read more

My initial visit was very misleading, I booked services through Booksy that was misleading and not honored hairsculpting/Facial. I received a cut from the owner Midwest I think started off I thought was cool and engaging. Next visit 2 weeks later totally different. Booked through Booksy again same hairscuplting/facial none of the description was honored on top of the when asked what type of cut I want I replied like the last time not for sure of fade type. Midwest obnoxiously replied I only cut your hair once I have no idea. Fair enough so I explained this visit less engaging more distracted not attentive and again services I booked were not honored. I was a walk-in so Samson was the barber he's expertise and experience left my son and I with total confidence. Nice, clean, and family friendly environment is a big plus. My first time going there the owner cut my hair. He did a good job, But he messed up my edgeup. The hair line was perfect, But the endgeup was so short when my previous hair line it was long like how it's supposed to be. He fucked up my edge up. And that was my first day to the new school. Now my second time going here, Some Mexican cut my hair and my baby brother's. He messed it all up. He made my brother which both of us are African Americans look like some Mexicans. He made my brother taper so high he hair cut looks exactly the same as what John cena gets. He cut my edge up so low ONCE AGAIN that u can't even see the edge up there. Also he made my hair at the back of my head have more hair then the front. People out here in Katy suck. They can't cut for shit. They completely messed up my fucking hair. Also the hair of my two older brothers. THEY MESSED IT ALL UP. I'm never coming back here again. I had a bunch of waves and I was swimming with em. But thanks to these stupid people. Im just gonna grow out my hair. And not get a hair cut for like 2 months so everything can go back to the way it used to be. I'm going back to my old barber. read more
