Stars: 3.5 Visiting from out of town and got my toes did. 6 nail stations and 8 pedi chairs everything very clean and tools autoclave. Have to say the pedi massage chair is one of the best. You even get a little tooshy rub while you sit. They do charge you a $1 extra for a emery board and sponge filer, which you get to keep after. But if you bring in your own no charge. Three person show so you get in and out quick. As for service can be a little rough. I had the gentleman... but he was not soo gentle. However, his cut and filing were done well. I really enjoyed the salt scrub massage and hot stone under my feet nice and relaxing. Underneath my nails there is the powder clumped up and harden. I asked if I could have someone else re-do them and they said I would have to comeback a 5:30 because no one was available. We went in to get in to get pedicures and I wanted the powder dip on my nails. They didn't tells us that the price of using gel polish is $20 more expensive than regular polish. Then they left my mom sitting there with towels on her legs, never came back to check on her. The lady who did my nails didn't do my cuticles or shape my nails at all and charged $55. I went to B Nails for a simple manicure. I was not pleased with the results. The nail polish did not cover the complete nailbed, but left strips of unfinished nail on the edges. When I got home, I had to re-file my nails because they were left so rough that they were catching on things. $41 for a manicure that isn't done well is obviously too much. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Went in for a fill about 3 weeks after getting a full set from the Mr of the couple who own the shop. He did great. Today I had the Mrs for the fill...WHILE doing my nails she brings her phone up front and has me sit in her station. First thing she sets her phone up so she can see the screen. Then asks me for the color choice...settle on that. She then asks me if I live in town..I say yes..she says you need to come in every two weeks for a fill.. wish I could have. She then starts filing with the emery board but is also watching her homeland soap opera TV...most of the time her eyes are on the screen, she even stopped working on my nails 3 times to get up close to her phone and not work on my nails..she nicked me once..never acknowledged it. So throughout the whole service her eyes were mostly on her little screen. I don't say anything because I don't want to upset her. $45 for the fill but she only got $5 for a tip. As I stood up I reach under the face shield screen and touch her phone and say How professional her time was spent watching the damn phone instead of concentrated on the job im paying her to do. The good: they offered 3 of us a same day, same time appointment for mani/pedis. The massage chairs at the pedicure station are great. The bad: We were immediately seated in our pedi chairs-- then we were left to soak our feet in lukewarm water. One of us didn't have a towel to rest our feet on. It became uncomfortable after awhile just sitting there with our feet soaking and getting wrinkled. maybe we shouldn't have expected to all start our pedis at the same time. One of us got started right away, the second waited a good 20 minutes before starting on her pedicure. I waited 30 minutes before someone even approached my chair--all while I were sitting with my feet soaking in cool water. I watched one of the salon girls finish a manicure station--then walked right up to my station without washing her hands. Nope. Nope. Nope. At that point I told her I didn't need her services anymore and I got up and walked out. Summary: while the same day/ same time appointment is greatly appreciated especially for three of us, please do not offer this unless we are able to start at the same time. Practice cleanliness and hand hygiene and don't leave patrons sitting with their feet in cold water for 30 minutes. I visited with a friend to get a gel pedicure and we left rather confused. Me, because I've had pedis in CA and AZ over the last couple of years and have roughly paid the same price of $36 however, my callouses are usually gone from liquid callous remover, and my gel is set with the hood utilized for gel. Neither were utilized and I don't understand the price charged and lack of what is usual and customary for the price. Don't go here. Went in for a full set of acrylic. I showed them a picture of what I wanted. They immediately said no. They said they couldn't do the design, which was a very very simple design to do. So I said okay whatever just the color then. The color was a dark MATTE purple. The shape I wanted was longer but ROUNDED. Just like in the picture. Somehow they messed that up too. They gave me pointy nails and the purple is like a shiny plum color. Not at all what I wanted. When he was doing my nails he used dirty tools. So hopefully I don't get some weird infection. Two days later and a nail breaks off. 2 days!!!! I spent over 80 dollars and a nail broke off in two days. I went back and told them they need to fix it. This time it was a woman. I sat down and she RIPPED OFF the rest of the nail. I screamed "OUCH!!!" But she didn't even care. Then I said "you need to be more careful you just ripped a chunk out of my nail bed." Instead of apologizing she got mad and started talking in a different language. She fixed the nail and I left. The nail she did looks much better than the rest of my nails that the guy did so at least she has that going for her I guess. What a joke. They hurt me and did a shit job and I paid over 80 dollars. I have to say this because this salon totally takes advantage of the traveler. Great location and all. A mani or deluxe pedi cost $98.00. The gel/shellac lasted 6 days. The deluxe pedi lasted one week and chipped off. Shellac peeled off. It was the biggest waste of money. I'll tell you why! The manicurists paint the nail all the way to the bed on the first coat and 3/4 of the way on your second coat. Lazy!!! This was my second time there and the same thing both times. I'm not going back. I'm local but for you who are not there is another salon near the dollar store! Besides who wants to pay almost $100 for crappy work. I'm actually sad to write this review because LC needs good people and we all wish for excellence on our Pedi and Mani or solar nails. You won't get it here. Went here on vacation for my first pedi of the summer and I paid top dollar for basic pedi ($28) and then received a service barley above a polish change. Since the "king-pin" of the salon did it - he was barely able to keep his eyes on my feet. I was done before a lady who started before me - she didn't even have polish on her toes yet when I was done (and she was also getting a basic pedi) MAYBE if the owner wasn't helping you might get a person who was actually worried about the job they were doing and the size of their tip. For the most part I'm going with "better than average". Tempering any dissatisfaction with getting on the books for a last minute pedicure with my wife on a day they don't typically work, I feel like the person who worked on me wasn't really into winning me over with excellence. She clipped the tip of my middle toe when trimming my nails, and the calf rub was barely that. My wife, on the other hand, enjoyed the luxurious attention of the owner (being the only other person there) and he was amazing. Great calf work, and really went above and beyond with her. She was in heaven. We stay at the coast as often as we can, and this is only the second nail salon we've been to. It's definitely worth another shot! read more

I am a long time customer... I have always had GREAT service. Most times it's by appointment but sometimes I can just get in... I would hate to need to go any place else. I noticed a post from 7/12/19... I was the customer sitting in the next chair over... OMG that young lady was RUDE, FOUL MOUTHED, AND JUST AWFUL!!! When he started to work on her nail she yelped that it hurt.. so they stopped... the owner intervened, and told her no service...it was clear that the nail was badly broken and needed to heal before any more work could happen... I had just had my birthday a few days prior to getting my nails done and I wanted to treat myself and relax on my day off. I made an appointment over the phone and once it was time, I went inside. Kim (the lady who is usually at the front desk) was working on someone's nails and rudely told me to check in on the iPad, so I did so. Then she also rudely demanded that I go wash my hands which I went and did. I sat down in the chair and waited for her to come start on my nails. She asked what color, length and shape I wanted and I told her. I showed her a cute picture of pastel nails on Pinterest and she told me that they didn't have those colors, so I showed her another picture with browns and neutrals and she tells me that they don't have either of those. So she picks out a burgundy ish color and a light pinkish color that look terrible together. I told her I would just do the burgundy and another color that I thought looked nice. She glared at me and then started on my nails. For one she didn't even ask me if I wanted my nails cut (I didn't. I had been growing them for over a month) and for 2 she cut them way too short and I was bleeding. She was rushing the whole time even though I had an appointment..and at the end my nails were really thick and chunky looking and crooked. I asked for her name at the end just so I could make a review. I do not recommend her. And as for tony, the lady getting her nails done next to me was clearly stating which color she wanted, and he kept trying to put different colors on her and I could tell she was getting frustrated. Will be going back to global nails next time. Terrible service here and I had a mini panic attack after I got my nails done. I don't like how uncomfortable and awkward I felt. This place is AWFUL!! The staff is rude and unkind. My mother went in to get a pedicure and was treated so poorly I am considering contacting the Better Business Bureau. She was holding a bottle of polish that was left open and it got on her hands; when she told them that she had polish allover her hands they simply said, "What you want me to do about it?" Her toes look as if my eight year old niece painted them and they are actually lumpy (a sign of old polish). She got home and immediately removed the paint and started over! Teeeeeerrrrible. They thought my real finger nails we're shallac. They tried to remove my real finger nails with a Dremel tool and then with foil. I had to The poor technician couldn't file a square nail, and the price was incredibly inflated for a simple shellac Polish change. I get my nails done in Portland for less for a better job. My daughter wanted to give me a birthday present and thought a mani/pedi would be a great gift, so she went into b nails to get a certificate for me and the woman that helped her was rude and made my daughter feel like she wasting her time. she then asked for prices and was blown away by how much it costed, so she got me a cert, for 46.00. It took me 5 calls to finally get in, which at global nails they get me in fast. the man that did my nails seemed like he didn't know what he was doing he put my hands in plain water and rushed through the mani fast he didn't put wax on my hands or get all the dead skin around my nails. then he did my pedi while I was soaking my feet the two women that work there was going back and forth starring at me like I owed them money. so the guy was doing his thing and I was thinking that this should feel good as I always look forward to the hot wax on my feet and the stone rub down on my legs, he barley did the stones and no wax again. then it was over and time to pay so I give him my gift cert. and then he said 40.00 more, I thought wow that seems high for what I had done. that night as I got into bed my toe nails got caught on the sheets so I had to get out of bed and file down my nails, which that irritated me then a couple days passed and my nail polish that is gel started to lift off and getting caught in my hair, I work with my hands and it was interfering with my job so I called and made a app. to get my nails redone, I couldn't take it any longer so before my app. I peeled the polish off, when I got there the woman was rude and said that I should have left it on so they could see where it was coming off. So I was thinking how much was the pedi and how much was the gel polish, so I told the woman how much I was charged and she told me that the gel polish cost 15.00 extra for my fingers and 15.00 for my toes 30.00 extra for polish!!!!! WTF!!! I will never ever go back there, Global Nails are very professional and friendly, there mani/pedis are wonderful and so relaxing so whoever reads this and was thinking of going to B-nails DON'T!!!
