Severe leg and knee pain led me to an orthopedic group for evaluation. Chris gave me a warm welcome, helped me get set up as a patient, and scheduled a series of appointments along with an initial exam. When I arrived for my first appointment, we discovered that my phone had blocked their calls, so I missed the message asking me to reschedule because of an unexpected therapist change. Rather than sending me away, Director Corey arranged for another location to see me so I would not lose momentum in my recovery. I appreciated that effort. My second appointment at the Oviedo location was with Bianca, who was thorough and highly professional in her assessment. My third appointment was with Nathan. He was direct, listened carefully to my concerns, and worked to address each issue head-on. I appreciated his professionalism and the progress I made with each visit. When I reached a milestone in my recovery, he recommended reducing my visits from twice a week to once a week. Each appointment was tailored to my progress, with clear explanations of why we were doing certain activities and what goals we hoped to achieve. I continued to see improvement as I practiced the recommended exercises to support my recovery. As I approached my "graduation" from the program, Nathan made sure I left with stretches and exercises to keep strengthening my legs, hips, and ankles and help prevent future issues. He also provided a resource for additional information and offered to answer any questions afterward. This level of customer service is rare today. Thank you for such a positive experience and for listening and tailoring a program to meet my specific needs, both now and in the future. I had never considered something like this to supplement my Medicare covered PT. When I contacted my insurance company they told me I could refuse, some of them, & I didn't have to get that many x-rays. It's also not good for ANYONE'S health to have an excessive amount x-rays. The Employees are Wonderful! I can Honestly say that going to Physiotherapy Works has changed my life. I thought that I'd never be able to regain the stability that I lost after having multiple knee surgeries. Their Physical Therapists and Interns from UCF are Phenomenal! They took the time to understand my individual needs, then created a program to address it. I've been seen many times for different reasons over the last two years; they've given me the exercises and made sure that I understood how to do them at home using bands and home objects. Their Physical Therapists use their ingenuity when creating a program that can be started at the PT office then transitioned to home exercises with adjustable difficulty.

Not everyone can afford being surprise scammed $65! My massage also started about 10 minutes late and ended about 10 minutes early. The therapist was friendly, but even after explaining that my back hurt and asking for deep tissue, the pressure stayed light. It felt more like a 30 min relaxation massage which I had paid for 60 min. Overall, I left disappointed, lack of communication, transparency, and value. Unfortunately, I will never be back.
