The chicken was flavorful with a nice crust and the accompanying salad was a nice compliment. For Happy Hour, they have a limited snack menu with some drink specials. I had their seasonal cider (pear) and the parm fries. Cider was good, and the fries were super tasty, especially with your choice of using either the aioli or ketchup provided. Crispy & great flavor! Walking up, I took the side entrance to the pool area under the tents. The staff here were very nice and engaging. I was able to get a plethora of drinks and strike up good conversations. I had two glasses of a Pino which was decent but, I'm not going to complain about "free." The food, well it was simple, by design in that's what we ordered. We had chicken fingers, sliders, crudies of carrots, olives and you get the point. It was fresh and while not earth shattering, it did it's purpose. They did offer games like corn hole, rings and a slew of other fun activities which I'm not sure if my company brought or they had available but the environment was one of fun and enjoyment. I will admit it was HOT but unless I missed something, they couldn't control the weather! Perhaps a couple well placed fans would help, especially aimed at the lawn chairs and picknick tables. Overall, this is a decent venue to hold a company party, get together or whatever else a social activity might entail. The people are nice, the place is clean and safe. Again parking and weaving in and out of narrow streets can be a slight adventure.
