Luckily, in the early stages of planning, we found Bonny and our lives had been changed for the better. Booking Bonny was the best decision we made for our wedding. We had been directed to her by another wedding planner we had spoken to because we were looking for someone who could really help us from the ground up. We booked Bonny for day-of coordination services for our wedding on October 1st, but she helped us with way more than just day-of services! From the very beginning after our first meeting, she was available via phone, text, or email if we had any questions or concerns and she had many recommendations for other vendors that we hadn't booked yet. The "day-of" coordination package actually extended to the "month-of" as she was constantly in touch with me to figure out vendor coordination, decorations, table seating, and working on the timeline. We hired a day-of coordinator mostly to do set up for the reception, but the team at B-Spoke ended up being indispensable. I could not imagine making it through the day without them and they deserve major credit for my wedding day being perfect. The high level of service at such a reasonable price is a no-brainer - I totally recommend booking them. During planning, we met with Bonny twice to go over the prep and to keep me on schedule. She gave great referrals for the florist, make up artist, and photographer, all of which I ended up using. She provided a detailed day-of schedule and sent it out to my vendors and wedding party. We found out a couple of weeks before the wedding that Bonny would not be there due to health reasons. She said this was the first time she had missed a wedding. We were not happy about this change at first, but working with Allison from her team ended up being a dream. Allison started at our first look and didn't leave until the end of the reception. She was so sweet and helpful the entire time, in a way that was unobtrusive and not demanding but still totally on top of everything. She took care of everything we expected and went above and beyond. She kept our dog company so he wouldn't bark throughout the ceremony and ended up taking one of our favorite pictures of him. She kept us moving from table to table during the photos so that we wouldn't run out of time. Without me thinking of it, she used my cell phone to take a video of our first dance so I could have that keepsake. When the groom's boutonniere fell apart, she made a new one. Doug did an amazing job setting up the reception site with little direction from us, everything was perfect. The décor, name cards, table numbers, photographs, signage, cake, etc. Our gifts and card box, as well as décor we were taking home, all made it into my sister's car without me having to say a word. I literally didn't have to pay attention to anything except the present moment because Doug and Allison took care of everything. The only fumble I could think of was extremely small. There was some confusion about contacting the vendors. I thought part of their job was to confirm with the vendors a day or two before, but no one called the bakery and the cake ended up two hours late. That's not Bonny's fault, but maybe a misunderstanding between us about who would be responsible. I also want to say that I loved having an Asian team to work with who understands my crazy Asian family. I also appreciate that one of the featured weddings on their site is of two gay men. Bonny is amazing, flat out. I was given her information, recommended for her attention to detail and boy is that right. From the first time we spoke she never pressured me, even when I told her I was working within a particular budget and wanted a particular, eclectic look -- there were lots of details to work out since we were having it at a private venue, but Bonny went above and beyond to make sure it was how we envisioned and still on budget. The wedding was so absolutely gorgeous and bohemian, just as we wanted it! Everyone commented on how transformed the backyard was, just amazing :) She was extremely responsive through-out the entire process, no matter the question I had. She also had some great vendors that were able to meet our needs. Bonny had an extremely detailed timeline that really kept everything and everyone on track. As a person, Bonny is so so sweet! She even got us a small gift for our wedding, totally a surprise. The best part is her day-of service... B-Spoke Events was truly incredible! Led by the ever-focused and always detailed Bonny - B-Spoke Events made sure to create the perfect day for my wife and I. Our ceremony and reception was held at Wintersburg Presbyterian Church, where I have attended for over a decade. More than 100 of our guests and helpers are members of the church or have spent significant time there. It was amazing how seemingly every one of them made it a point to tell my wife and I that the Social Hall no longer looked like the dimly lit and cavernous space that it once was. Bonny took full advantage of her vendor relationships and her keen eye to transform WPC into a glorious place for my wife and I to begin our lives together. We could not have asked for any more! Plus, my wife and I did not worry about a single detail the whole day! Everything was handled behind the scenes by B-Spoke Events. PLUS, she worked within our budget the whole time...I like that ;) My wife and I cannot stop talking and reflecting on how special our day was and how important it was that the space looked as it did, the day flowed as it did, and our guests enjoyed as they did. Planning a wedding during COVID led to more challenges than I anticipated and hiring Bonny was the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding! She was very responsive and helpful during the planning process and helped to relieve a lot of my stress. I would definitely recommend all couples to invest in a wedding coordinator to help them with planning on the day of the wedding and weeks leading up to the big day. Firstly, I am a big fan of B-spoke Events. I have used this company, several times for my friends baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties etc. I do not consider myself very creative when it comes to planning parties or events, and find the whole affair quite overwhelming at times. A friend recommended this company and I have never looked back. Bonny is extremely creative and unique with her ideas. I give her suggestions and she runs with it, and comes up with ideas I have not thought of, or even seen on Pinterest!! From color suggestions, food ideas, to themes, Bonny has the answers. When I use Bonny to help me plan an event, not only are the themes creative, but every detail is thought of, and each party has ran smoothly, and has been planned out perfectly. Another reason I continue to have Bonny plan my events, is the feedback I have received from my friends and family. It is so positive and I always have a satisfied group, they leave with a full belly and do not stop talking about all the details.... that I sure cannot take credit for! Bonny is extremely punctual, so all details are planned with perfect timing, this cuts out any stress. Knowing I had used B-Spoke Events myself on several occasions, My friends requested Bonny to plan my baby shower earlier this year. As an added bonus, they managed to get Bonny to cater my event (not a typical service). I was so impressed by the creativeness of her food choices...I will post pictures. It was Safari themed food. Truly delicious and I know Bonny received compliments from everyone. I have attended a couple of weddings that have used B-Spoke Events and I was very impressed. Some weddings can be delayed and have a sense of chaos. These were the opposite, on time, and ran very smoothly. I only wish they were around when I got married... Bonny is AMAZING, in addition to being organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and creative (and also bakes delicious cookies!). We hired her as a day-of-coordinator for our April 2016 wedding, but she's guided us throughout the entire planning process. She's so personable and sweet and really makes an effort to get to know you and your vision, and also works with you (and your budget!) closely to help you brainstorm and achieve your dream wedding. On the day of our wedding, Bonny made sure everything ran smoothly and on-time, and was quick on her feet to resolve any last minute changes or mishaps. Honestly there are so many extra details in the wedding process that we would have totally missed or messed up, but instead we had a fantastically stress-free experience. Thanks to Bonny, we simply spent the day enjoying the wedding we dreamed of, relaxing with family and friends, and just having the most beautiful and perfect day of our lives!
