    Ann and her team were such a blessing for our wedding. We highly recommend her services. She was organized, responsible, kind, and had great suggestions during the planning process. With her expertise, she was able to help us craft our perfect timeline and suggest/vet vendors. It was an extra cherry on top that she was familiar with our venue in Orange County, the vendors that we had chosen, and the special Asian cultural elements that we were incorporating. She was an advocate for our wants and needs, ensuring that we had the perfect day. We met with her several times over Zoom months before the wedding and in person for the final details with the venue. She took care of communicating with all of the vendors and ensuring that everything was in place. On the day of the wedding, we truly did not need to worry about anything other than being present and enjoying our selves. Ann and her team took care of resolving everything that pops up with event and vendor logistics, managing the timeline, managing guests and family (especially those who spoke Vietnamese). Her team helped with picking up a lunch order and delivering to our hotel suite, getting the venue set up, and ensuring our photographer got the important photos with the wedding party. Her team made sure we were well hydrated with water and preferred cocktails throughout the night so that we could focus on the party and being with our guests. We are so grateful to have Ann part of our team!

    Frequent wedding guests first time as bride and groom. After attending so many weddings, we kind of had an idea of what we wanted to do. One thing we always wanted to have was a wedding that brought everyone together, but also to keep all our guests engaged throughout the entire night. We went to multiple weddings before and saw Ann as the wedding planner and notice how active she was throughout the entire night and how everything felt under control, one of our favorite wedding that we went to was a small wedding of 70 people, but it was the most fun and most memorable wedding we've been to. Throughout the process of having Ann as a wedding planner, she was able to help us with sourcing vendors navigating through contracts, helping set up appointments, and she was even there for every single face-to-face meeting with vendors and the venue, and also helped negotiate some of the contracts to provide us better terms and pricing. A lot of the vendors that we wanted to work with already has relations with Ann which made it a lot easier to communicate. We wanted our wedding to run smoothly and we wanted our guest to be entertained, but I also wanted me and my wife's wedding day to be drama free and of course, the most memorable day of our life and Ann delivered the night went off without a hitch. Everybody was happy and everybody complimented on the efficient timeline. Our guest list was full of different groups of people, you have your typical Asian auntie and uncles and then you have friends and also professional acquaintances. Ann was able to navigate all those things. She handled special request, spoke Vietnamese and made sure our special guest were accounted for. We felt like there wasn't much time wasted in between different events from first dance to speeches to dinner throughout the whole night all our guests were engaged thank you so much and for helping us through this process, but most importantly, thank you for creating one of the most memorable moments in our lives

    Easily the best decision we ever made was hiring Ann as our wedding coordinator. First of all, if you are debating on whether or not you even need a coordinator- there is no debate. It's a must-have for a wedding. If you're on the fence on who to hire - there is no need to look any further. Ann is the best in the business. Not only is she a great person to work with, she is thorough and detail oriented enough to bring all your wedding dreams into fruition. My husband and I got married during Memorial Day weekend last year (which is one of the busiest times for weddings), and we had the honor and the privilege to have Ann as our wedding coordinator. Even during the busy season and a jam packed weekend schedule with back to back weddings, Ann was still able to really focus on our wedding and all the little details I had in my vision. Some might label me as a perfectionist, but I would just tell them that I just like things a certain way. When it came to our wedding, we had a vision that we wanted to see into fruition. To say that Ann had executed our vision would be an understatement. It was everything we had imagined and more. She really made all our wedding dreams come true. To be honest, I have a tough time trusting people to do things for me, because I know that I like things done a certain way, but I was 100% able to trust Ann, because she is just that good. I saw her as another extension of myself, which I feel is really hard to find. On the day of the wedding, I didn't have to worry or think about anything. Ann and her team just took over and handled every little thing. Not only were they working hard to make sure everything goes according to plan, but her and her team were ALWAYS trying to make sure we are doing okay- and that we are eating, or drinking water, or we are just taking care of ourselves. Ann and her team are on a whole other level here. I noticed that they would prepare our food a certain way so that we could easily eat between events on our timeline. They are constantly grabbing water for us or delegating tasks like this to our wedding party. I know that there is so much else going on, so we appreciate the attentiveness she gives us and everything around them. I have received countless compliments, and I'm still receiving them- about Ann and her team - about how on top of it she is - how organized she is, and how nice and also calm she stays the WHOLE time. This is NOT easy to do especially with all the challenges and curveballs that can happen at big events. She knows exactly what to do in tough situations, and she never had to bother us with anything during the day. We were completely able to enjoy every moment of our wedding because of her. I admire her work, and I'm in awe of what she can do. Ann is a superstar!

    Ann was literally my fairy godmother on our wedding day and I cannot recommend her enough!!! My husband and I actually met Ann when we attended my cousin's wedding in 2023. Her professionalism, assertiveness, and charisma immediately caught our attention. Our family members, specifically the picky Viet aunties, couldn't stop raving about her calm demeanor and professionalism. She and her team were able to keep a whole room quiet and herd 150+ people with such grace! We immediately booked her after getting engaged. We went with the month-of/day-of coordination with the most difficult part being location - we planned our California wedding entirely from Arizona. Ann blew me away with her check-ins, speedy replies, and advice throughout the whole process. She worked out scheduling with us, making sure she could meet with us whenever we were in town. Ann worked her magic the month of our wedding, but especially the week of. 5 days before our wedding day, our DJ was admitted to the hospital unexpectedly and I was in FULL SPIRAL mode. I texted her at 11pm and she promptly gave me a call to calm me down and offer backup plans. Then at rehearsal, even though she couldn't make it, her assistant Kim seamlessly ran the ceremony timeline as if she had studied our wedding details since Day 1! The type-A in me felt SO MUCH relief and I knew I could fully trust her and her team. Every wedding day comes with its list of challenges, and our most difficult challenge was our venue. Ann could have easily given into our venue's demands, but she was able to pull so many strings on our behalf to ensure our day was the day we wanted it to be. She literally took a chair to the hip right in front of us during cocktail hour, saving our grandma! Our family required a blend of Vietnamese and Jewish traditions, and I had actually forgotten to add in the glass-breaking tradition to our officiant's ceremony script. Thinking it was too late, we were going to omit it. I was in the middle of notifying Ann 10 minutes before ceremony stared, when she held my hand and said "oh no, we have everything set up and it's penciled in to your officiant's script. He knows, it's happening!" I immediately hugged her and cried! Her team deserves their own shoutout as well. They are SO meticulous and detailed; obviously learning from the best, Ann herself! When Ann had to leave a bit early for personal reasons, she made sure I was in good hands with her team. They were constantly checking in on me, making sure I was hydrated, cooled, and dress bustled. They could see even the tiniest bit of discomfort from me from across the room and come running over. They even went out of their way to take extra polaroid pictures for us during reception without us asking, and now we have an album full of beautiful candids. We literally could never thank Ann and her team enough. If you've made it this far, please take it as a sign to reach out to Ann and her team. I promise you will NOT regret it!

    Ann and her team truly go out of their way to make your special day perfect just the way you truly desire your day to be. I cannot recommend them more than enough to anyone who just wants to be really taken care of and happy on wedding day. They are very passionate at what they do. You can easily tell how much sincere care and intention they put into each and every detail there possibly is to making your day the best day ever. Ann and her team are also welcoming, kind-hearted, and respond quickly whenever you need to reach out to them. I gave Ann all these inspo photos of how I wanted the vibe of my wedding to be and she exceeded my expectations. She made sure to know what I like, didn't like, and is all about the details to making your day truly shine as if it were her own! Head coordinator Kim made sure the whole entire wedding day was running smoothly as well as making sure that my husband and I were having a great time! It never felt rushed. There were no major hiccups. I had the worst feet cramp for the first time though and Kim was already next to me with chair to sit on and a neck fan for some support. No matter how busy she really prioritized our well being and it was so much fun having her around! She hyped up my bridesmaids for our welcoming entrances, made sure my husband's eyes were open during the important shots, made sure we were changed into our different outfit changes on time, and gave us cake in our bridal suite! I loved that my husband and I didn't have to think about anything the day of because Kim guided us throughout the whole day. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Ann and her team in a heartbeat.

    We are beyond grateful for Ann! From the very beginning, she was organized, thoughtful, and fully committed to making our day as smooth and stress-free as possible. Her attention to detail and ability to manage every moving part with calm professionalism truly made all the difference. One of the things we appreciated most was how gracefully she handled our families--especially navigating the cultural elements of our wedding. She was very understanding and respectful, and did an amazing job keeping everything balanced and everyone happy (including my traditional Vietnamese parents--which is no small feat!). Her ability to communicate clearly while staying kind and composed really helped ease tensions and make everyone feel heard and included. On the day of the wedding, there were a few hiccups (as there always are), but we barely even noticed. She and her team handled everything behind the scenes so efficiently that my husband and I got to fully enjoy the day without being pulled into decision-making or problem-solving. If you're looking for someone who can keep things running seamlessly, honor your vision, and handle even the trickiest dynamics with grace and skill--she's absolutely the one. We can't recommend her enough-- we had the best day ever and can't shut up about our wedding. If we could do our wedding all over again, we totally would-- and we'd go with Plans by Ann a second time :)

    Choosing Ann to help us with planning our wedding was hands down the best decision my now husband and I made when we first started our wedding planning journey. I had a vague idea of what I wanted the day to look like ("springtime in the fall" LOL) but Ann really worked with me to flesh that idea out and turn it into a whole vision. She was very hands on from day one and helped us source a number of our vendors and gave her honest opinion on ways to stay within budget but also still get what we wanted. I felt like she was always available if we had any questions or worries and really listened to and understood what was important to us. I can honestly say that the month of the wedding felt so much less stressful because we knew that we could count on her to be on top of it. She contacted all of our vendors and organized logistics and required documents needed from each vendor for the venue. She really helped us develop a great layout and flow for our venue, helped us create a timeline that made sure we got to do all the things we wanted to do and she reassured us every step of the way. Her team, led that day by her associate Kim, was incredible the day of and made sure everything ran smoothly and that the vision and the vibe of the day was immaculate. They were so detail oriented and made our day feel like the perfect, most beautiful day. They even took extra polaroids of my husband and me during different points of the day and added them to our photo guestbook which were just the best surprise. I can't speak more highly of Ann and her wonderful team for going above and beyond for what was one of the best days of our lives. Would absolutely recommend anyone looking for a planner to hire Ann!

    Picking Ann and her team one of the best decisions we made during our entire wedding journey. From the beginning, Ann impressed us cause she was really personable and warm. In our initial meeting, we had a zoom call with Ann just to get to know her (this was before we even booked her) and it really show her professionalism and her excitement for our big day. But what truly sets het apart is how she showed up for us when things didn't go according to plan. The day before our wedding, our Airbnb unexpectedly canceled on us. Ann stayed with us looking for a solution and she literally handled all the communications with our vendors to let them know the location had changed for getting ready and pictures. She handled the situation with such calmness and ensured everything went smoothly the next day. Every other part of the planning process was just as smooth and thoughtful. Ann listened closely to what we wanted and gave us recommendations on what would look nice. She worked and communicated with all of our vendors, created a timeline that kept everyone on track, and on the day itself, made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing. She also had great recs on how to run our own boba bar and get our very own champagne tower A lot of guests told us it was such a fun and well organized and coordinated wedding and we really want to thank that to Ann and her team. We would highly recommend Ann for all your wedding planning and coordinating needs. We are really grateful for everything she has done for us.

    Ann was indeed a lifesaver throughout the entire planning process. When we started working together, she took the time to understand my vision, preferences, and needs. She didn't just plan our wedding--she made the journey stress-free and enjoyable. She even ensured my bustle was perfectly in place before our grand entrance, going above and beyond in every detail. Her entire team clearly shared her commitment to making our day perfect, and we truly appreciated their combined efforts. One of our biggest challenges was dealing with our initial photographer, who completely ghosted us during the planning process. After repeated attempts to communicate and get things back on track, we realized we needed to move on. Thankfully, our wedding planner had a great relationship with our video team, and they were able to step in and take our pictures. This could have been a significant setback, but she handled the situation with such professionalism and care. She reassured us, helped coordinate everything, and made sure the issue didn't affect the rest of our planning. Her support during this stressful time was invaluable, and we felt so relieved knowing she had everything under control. She did an amazing job handling all the inevitable drama that comes with weddings. She managed everything from family dynamics to last-minute vendor changes with grace and professionalism. She ensured that nothing escalated to the point where we felt stressed. Her ability to keep things calm and organized behind the scenes was truly remarkable, and it made all the difference in making our day feel seamless. One of the most helpful aspects was her ability to speak Vietnamese, which was a massive benefit in communicating with our families and guests. It added a personal touch and helped bridge language barriers, ensuring everyone felt included and understood during such a momentous occasion. This was especially important for our family; we are so grateful for that extra effort. Above all, she was highly professional in everything she did. From managing multiple vendors to ensuring that our timeline flowed smoothly, her professionalism and organizational skills truly shined.     Our family recently celebrated our son's HS graduation party at XO Lounge. We had a wonderful…read morebeginning-to-end experience that included incredibly responsive, thorough, and professional communication with Jamie--the main contact in charge of booking, planning, and operational oversight. On the day of the event, Hope, Hai, Lola (bartender) and the remaining staff were unbelievably helpful, accommodating--and integral to our efficient set-up and smooth execution of a successful celebration. XO Lounge is a very posh venue with modern décor. The nightclub vibe and setup provided the core foundation--that minimized decorative needs for our graduation-themed event. Our event hosted approximately 150 guests--that we comfortably housed in the smaller nightclub event area. Despite opting out of seated dining, our area easily accommodated our guests with the use of the booths and lounge-style sofa set-up for central-space seating. We still had surplus space leftover--that was allocated for the dance floor and bar area. The nightclub further opens into an enclosed courtyard--allowing for additional cocktail tables, bar stools, and lounge-roaming for our guests. Our party featured a standard photo-booth setup with an 8-ft props table--as well as a 360-spinning video-booth in the front entryway lobby area (just to the left of entrance). Our 360-video-booth included an inflatable enclosure--that successfully fit in the entryway alcove. Our rented XO Lounge space features a stage with a floor-to-ceiling TV-grid. This large multi-screen TV--along with dozens of TVs lining the entire room-walls--cycled a slideshow of our graduate's photos throughout the evening. XO Lounge further features a full PA system, DJ plug-ins for surround sound (you must provide your own DJ/music/equipment), full nightclub equipment (e.g. spinning disco-ball light machines, fog machines, laser strobing, etc.), full bar & bartender staff, etc. I LOOVED that XO included all the needed tables of various lengths and sizes--with fitted fabric *tablecloths* included. Fabric tablecloths may seem like a minimal feature, but fitted cloth coverings elevate a sophisticated aesthetic while alleviating the patron from the added costs for these supplies. Hope oversaw our function and was so attentive--always offering to help with literally *anything*--to reduce stress for the hosts (I really appreciated that!). The venue was surprisingly affordable--with a nominal outside-catering fee; the staff were professional and delightful; and the party space and outdoor-courtyard areas fit our guests, photo/video-booths, food vendors, Welcome table, Sweets table, and largescale Balloon Arch. XO Lounge features one-stop-shop booking and planning services for all party needs, (i.e. catering, decoration, DJ, photo-booth vendors, etc.)--though we did not partake of these additional offerings. Hosting an event on this scale is stressful (IYKYK), but this venue and staff minimized the stress and streamlined our experience for a fantastic celebration. Our family would definitely book with XO lounge again for future event planning needs--and would highly recommend to our friends, family, and others. Our guests had the BEST time; and we had a GREAT PARTY celebrating our newest grad!

The collaboration to bring smashed burger (forgot their name) was well seasoned and juicy, and cooked to order at the club! Wow I can go on and on! The club's entrance was easily accessible, parking was a breeze, and the staff even allowed me early access to set up table centerpieces and our photograph table. We gave 3 Petals team a large task of 270 guests, a moody romantic theme, picky eaters, quality drinks, amazing food, and a floral chandelier that made us gasp. Not only did the team understood the assignment, they handled all of it without missing a beat. We can't talk about 3 Petals without talking about the staff. And we have to start with Ashley, because she deserves every thank you we could give. As our POC for the entire year leading up to the wedding, she was an absolute sweetheart from start to finish. Every email answered promptly, every question, no matter how small, was met with patience and clarity. It felt like planning a wedding with a friend who genuinely wanted our day to be perfect. Ashley truly set the tone for what the entire 3 Petals experience would feel like, and that standard carried through every single interaction with their team. The venue staff as a whole are warm, genuine, and flexible. You can tell they actually love what they do. The venue itself is a true blank canvas. We wanted a moody, romantic theme and 3 Petals team suggested maroon draping. Game changer. It completely transformed the space and gave the room a warm and intimate atmosphere. Their in-house rentals are fairly priced, their florist team is incredibly talented, and the floral chandelier they created was honestly more stunning in person than anything we had imagined. We need to talk about the food because this is where 3P truly shines. Many of our guests were from families of great cooks. We are talking picky Asian moms and aunties who will absolutely let you know if something did not meet the mark. Every single one of them complimented the food. This was the highlight of the wedding for us. We went with Signature Menu 2 and swapped the first course for cocktail hour bites, and that decision alone was worth it. We had tried the cocktail food at our tasting and knew immediately it was going to be a hit, but the actual wedding night confirmed it. Every single item was amazing. The curry shrimp was juicy and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of curry flavor, served on a crispy bite that had the most satisfying crunch. The halibut ceviche was a fresh, beautifully executed Asian fusion take. And the filet beef cubes were tender, soft, and seasoned so perfectly that every single bite felt intentional. One thing that would be helpful would be the communication after requesting and placing a deposit. Everything was done online via email, but I would have loved to actually speak or text with a live representative during that time and after they asked for the final payment before the actual day. They also asked for a tip prior to the day, but we opted to tip on the day because again, I had already paid for the entire experience before the experience. Thanking God it all worked out!

I'm just wondering what Oceanside parks (not on sand) you are allowed to host on assuming 8-10 people. PC: I apologize I am not familiar with the city of Oceanside. I think just googling the parks would be your best bet for finding a location Me: Oops sorry I mean ocean side - meaning anywhere in San Diego. Any park that's near an ocean. PC: The only one I am familiar with is South Embarcadero Park Me: Ok so I guess then my question is do you have suggested locations? Or do I research and propose that? Where are you typically hosting picnics I mean? It seems there's a lot of rules so I can't figure out what is and isn't allowed. PC: I think you have to pick a place and then call about that specific place is how it works. Me: Ok no thanks looking to pay someone to do that legwork for me. Thanks. PC: Happy to do that for you. We offer location scouting which we charge $499 for this I was surprised at the price to provide me a list of allowable locations. So I pinged another company to see if they had a list of sites. I got a reply in 5 min with a list of locations that only the county allows. It's a very short list and easily posted online by county. Picnic collective charging you $500 to send this list is a scam and also you should seriously second guess they don't know or supply this to you with your inquiry. When I brought this to PC attention, instead of acknowledging the feedback - they proceeded to engage in a combative back and forth with me. I wonder how many suckers they've gotten for this $500. They're other untrustworthy & ripping people off or unknowledgable. The pure fact they wanted to argue with me on this simple issue was also indicative of what might have happened running a large event with them in recognizing a mistake. Be very careful committing thousands of dollars to an event with them and the county kicking your event out.
