SoCal has a huge wedding industry so it can be hard to know who to go with - I started my search by emailing inquiries to a bunch of planners, and I knew it was a good sign when Michelle was the first one to email me back and to set up the initial video consultation! We ended up booking her partial planning package, which includes some additional design services (she sent us powerpoints full of possible design ideas) and vendor services (she gave us lists of several vendor recommendations, including her in-network vendors that offer special perks for her clients! I initially found Michelle through IG, and hired her instantly after speaking to her on the phone. She is friendly, super experienced, and is always so positive! I have a photobooth business, and had the pleasure of working with Michelle & her team this weekend to service a wedding, so I am writing this review as a vendor, and from a vendor's perspective. To start, Michelle is on top of it! She is incredibly organized and strikes me as someone who dots her "i's" and crosses her "t's". If there is any missing information, incomplete documents, or details needed from a vendor, she always follows up via email & text and makes sure that those requirements get sent in. She is on top of it and is pretty persistent in her follow-ups, so my advice to other vendors is to just get those requirements in early! :) Before the big day, Michelle follows up with the vendors to confirm details like arrival times, service schedules, vendor meal preferences, etc. And she provides everyone a final timeline along with detailed instructions & maps to make loading in and setting up easy & smooth for all of us. I've attached a few screenshots of material that she has sent to us. On the big day, all the vendors worked digilently to get their services set up. It's actually pretty amazing to watch. Everyone was working separately, and yet behind it all I see Michelle & her team answering questions, directing vendors and orchestrating all the little details, while helping out where help is needed. Michelle is incredibly detail-oriented as well, and based on my interaction with her, she seems to be always thinking about the experience that she wants to create for bride/groom and their guests. When it was time for the big event - the wedding ceremony, everything came together just beautifully and the bride's walk down the aisle was absolutely flawless. It was really something special. You can feel the spirit of the moment in the calm, beautiful atmosphere that the team created...it was a very special moment. Our wedding turned out to be just what we dreamed of and more! After connecting with five different wedding planners, I decided to work with Michelle. I loved that she was fluent in English and Korean and when I met her, I was impressed by her attention to details. Oh my, where do we start - we have so many AMAZING things to say about Cheers to Two! Michelle and her team went above and beyond for us and definitely exceeded our exceptions from start to finish! A year before our wedding date, we were searching online for a coordinator because it was required by our venue to have one the day of our wedding. We found Cheers to Two and decided to inquire. She was very quick to respond and was able to schedule a zoom consultation meeting to answer any of our questions and inform us what she has to offer. During our consultation, she described all of her wedding packages in detail, answered all our questions, and provided us with her professional suggestions based on where we were at in our planning process. We were so anxious about wedding planning, but Michelle reassured us that she will make sure everything goes smoothly on the day of the wedding. We left the consultation meeting feeling relieved, satisfied, and even more excited for our wedding. We knew we had to book her! We decided to go with The Chardonnay Package, which was a one month planning/coordinating package. After about a month in, we realized we needed a lot more help than we thought, so we decided to upgrade our package to The Champagne Package - a full service package. Because we already did some things on our own prior to the upgrade, Michelle was very understanding and accommodating and created a customized Champagne Package based on what we needed to get done! When my daughter and her now husband set their wedding venue and date, it was mandatory that an event planner be present on the day of the wedding. So, my daughter's search began.
