The other- plain and simply, high caliber of professionalism, authenticity, and warmth that I've had the pleasure to experience after hiring KLK to work their magic for my engagement and wedding photos at The Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel, this past July. In May of 2011 I was referred to these folks by a friend for Graduate school portraits. I liked the…read morepictures, but in retrospect TOO COSTLY for what you could easily get at a mall; ultimately, you are paying for their gift of gab; to hear them talk about themselves in a polite, friendly, and bamboozling way. Then, without listening to my gutt, I returned to them a year later 9 months pregnant for portraits. When portraits came, I was not advised that the size would cut off the top of our heads, the measurements of the frames had been misquoted, and the black and white monochrome that Dolores (or Dee) sat for TWO hours to select with me was printed in color. After trying to solve the issue with them, and running into elusiveness- I reported them to the Better Business Bureau where they earned a low score due to their unwillingness to solve the problem. We ended up in court and I won. I found it ironic how Dolores had memory loss of those TWO hours where my son fell asleep in her arms while I heard about an employee/brother-in- law crush drama (I also mentioned this in court); when I looked around the court, she looked downward. Aaron Marricon and Delores refused to pay me the settlement and they sought a lawyer (coincidentally Fred V. who was the first review here) to differentiate the stipulations of the settlement and advice me that unless I agreed to Aaron Marron's stipulations, I would not receive the small claims settlement that was deemed appropriately mine for all the mishaps by a JUDGE. In finality, I went back to court to file a RIT but then I realized, that maybe they need the, in today's economy hefty, small claims settlement more than I do.
