This is a SCAM!!!!! I saw a few reviews saying it was a scam but she had other great reviews so I decided to go for it and hoped for the best, I booked mininshoot for mother's day, gave my deposit. The text she sent after with instructions she didnt follow through, she said she would send information about session the Tuesday before the shoot I had to text her several times to get this information, she then sent other instructions late at night, where she indicated if she hadnt sent a contract to let her know and send right away, I informed her I needed contract criquets no replies..She also requests all money paid by the Wednesday before shoot this should have been big RED FLAG! Why should you pay in full for a service that hasnt been provided, most photographers request for the money the day of sessions after session is completed. Always go with your gut feeling, if it doesnt feel right it probably isn't. Im so disappointed as this was supposed to be a happy mother's day moment. read more

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. I booked a family beach photoshoot with Alex and paid $175 in advance. From the beginning, communication was confusing -- her messages were unclear about the session time and made it seem like my family was scheduled closer to sunset. I rearranged my entire evening, got my whole family ready, and drove to the beach, only to find out there was a "misunderstanding" about the time. Despite arriving within minutes of the time listed in her confirmation message, the shoot never happened. The weather wasn't ideal (which no one can control), but instead of working with us or offering a solution, she refused to proceed because of her equipment limitations. She then offered to reschedule -- but only if I paid an additional $125. At that point, I requested a partial refund, which I believe was more than fair since no photos were taken. She declined and kept the full $175. I've been taking family photos for over 17 years and have never been treated with such a lack of grace or professionalism. Her website talks about "creating beauty in a world that can be ugly," but the way she handled this situation reflected none of that. I'm sure she'll respond to this review -- and that's fine. I welcome her to share the screenshots of our messages so others can decide for themselves if her communication was truly as "clear" as she claims. We were standing on the beach at 5:50 for what was supposed to be a 6:00 PM session. It's not about the money -- it's about integrity. Keeping payment for a service that was never provided, and asking for even more money to try again, is simply not right. read more

I booked a shoot for my daughter's graduation it was supposed to be a special occasion for a lot of personal reasons. It was supposed to be a beach shoot and from the beginning there were red flags but I just didn't listen to my gut. I booked her maybe two weeks before the date, I paid the deposit the same day I booked her, there was always a lag on her responses but I understand people are busy so although it bug me a bit I know she's not just waiting on me she's got other clients (this is what I'm telling myself) after paying the deposit she sent a set of like rules/terms to follow to make sure the shoot doesn't get canceled, and I like to stay on top of things. On those terms she said that the Tuesday before she would send a reminder and the full amount must be paid by the Wednesday before the shoot. I'm on vacation during those days but I still sent the rest of the payment and then that's where I realized I messed up. She never sent the "contract" per her terms I had to sign a contract so after sending the payment I messaged her and told her I had paid the rest of the amount but couldn't find the contract, she responded "no worries I'll have it resent" great! Two or three days go by our shoot is Saturday and Thursday there was no contract, Friday when I woke up I saw a message from her letting me know she would be canceling the shoot for her own reasons which had to do with the political situation in California. I was understanding and I asked if I would be getting a refund which I was okay with her keeping the deposit or even just sending me a partial refund, and she said she wouldn't be doing that because she doesn't give refunds and tried to offer me a different date two weeks later!! It took me a while to decide and do this review because I didn't want to speak negatively about her but the more I thought about it I should've gotten a refund because I never signed a contract and she took away the joy of having my daughter's graduation photos. I think having not signed a contract and her still not wanting to give me a partial refund is so frustrating and unprofessional. Don't make the same mistake as me and make sure you don't waste your money on someone who just took my money without any hesitation. read more

So from the beginning she was short on the texts, I texted and asked about days and prices she sent me a confusing text that made no sense when I asked, she asked me to refer to the previous text, we settled on a date I sent the reservation fee of 50$ and no text back for a day and a half, when she responded she was rude AF and her contract is not well written with many grammar and spelling issues and also sounds rude, I would have gone ANYWHERE ELSE AT THIS POINT for grad pictures for my daughter but time was an issue. In person she was the sweetest person and was very comfortable to be around. So I was feeling better about using her for the pictures. She charged me 60$ for a rush fee to get them 1 week earlier instead of the 3 weeks she usually takes.... She did not have them ready in time and when I texted she told me I needed to be patient because she has things to do and her family is her priority. She finally gave me a date for my pictures she said it would be ready on Thursday, Thursday at noon I text and no response, I texted again at 6 which is usually after hours, she texts back so rude that the day isn't over and she'll get them to me later that night. When she finally gave them to me it had been 2 weeks 6 days and told me that the rush fee still applies because it was before the 3 weeks. The pictures were awful!!!!!! She did absolutely no touch ups, she changed the contrast on 1 picture. I was sooooo upset because after 210$ I got crap!!! I could have taken better pictures and have taken better pictures on my iPhone. I wanted professional pictures and got grainy pictures with many issues. I didn't send them out to my family and friends and just used them hidden in a collage as a backdrop. I was so shocked at how awful the pictures were because there are so many wonderful reviews about her and her quality. I would not recommend her. The contract quotes a certain amount of weeks for photos 2.5-3 weeks, the photos were available 4 weeks later almost a whole month! Didn't make it in time to include in our baby shower as we wanted to frame them for our shower. No type of compensations offered if something doesn't work out due to her fault. Customer service good in person but once you leave her home/studio and balance has been paid, good luck getting updates/ timely responses. Her texts back to you when inquiring the status of your photos comes off as sassy or uninterested/ rude. It feels like no effort was put into our photos, as my partner requested one of the nice fancy backgrounds she has on her page that she claims to "photoshop" and add into the plain background, and we did not get one single photo with what was requested. All the same grey background. The undergarments came out decent in some photos, in others it wasn't hidden when it should have been not sure if she doesn't have the skill necessary to photoshop the undergarments or if she just didn't put enough effort on our photos as the models shown on her page. Some photos did come out decent but overall the wait was not worth the price, professionalism over text was not there, communication/ following up with clients on status of photos needs to be improved. Also as a suggestion it is not professional to post or put people on blast on social media for writing honest reviews it makes you as a business owner look bad. Rated 2 stars because although the photos weren't delivered on time as the contract states for our bb shower and communication wasn't the best we still did get maybe a few decent photos we were content with. Response to your response: Let's please be honest screenshots we reached out to you to deliver the dresses when can we go etc and you never got back to her.
