I got 15 quotes to replace our 40 year old cement tile roof with asphalt composite shingles. Performance Roofing had the lowest cost bid, is local to me in Napa (turns out the owners live just a couple blocks from us!), and was among the lowest pressure sales contacts I had. Everyone I spoke with at the company was easy to deal with and understand. They sent me a contract, which I was able to easily sign electronically. The office provided useful and detailed information about which shingles would be available and prices, reasons for one brand or another, and good options (I went with Certainteed Landmark shingles). They brought over big sample sheets which helped us pick a better than expected color shingle. They said they could start between two and four weeks after I sign the contract, depending on the weather, sure enough just 15 days later I got a message they'd arrive later that day with a huge dumpster (to take away the old roof) and a respectful, quick working crew. Turned out there was a misunderstanding about needing to add plywood but they resolved that fairly and were still among the lowest cost bids we got. The cleanup from a project like this is never perfect but they came back to pick up some stray debris and nails and met my expectations there. The work was fast as could be and the result is outstanding, the roof looks great. I've already recommended them to neighbors and friends as many folks in Browns Valley have 40 year old tiles roofs like ours that need replacement soon. Give them a call before it starts raining again, you'll get a great price and quickly have a new roof. Steven was the on-site crew leader and he was outstanding.

His crew tore out my old front door and side light and installed a much larger (and MUCH heavier) double wrought iron door. The work was done so well that when I called another company to complete some other re-texturing work for me they actually told me they wouldn't take the job (kudos to them for being so honest) because they couldn't do as good of a job as Remodel Ninjas did (remember that problem of them being popular - yea....). They're so good they scared off the "competition". My front door is now a highlight of my home and I get so many compliments on it. But honestly, this review would be lacking if I only spoke to Kirk (and his team's) skill and ability. What really sets Kirk apart from others is his character. He is honest, kind, helps whenever he can, tells it like it is, but is full of love and grace. Hard to find people of such quality character these days. Skip understood that we were on a budget with our kitchen remodel, and was upfront and honest about the cost of various jobs that would need to be done with our remodel. We changed the layout of our 1970's kitchen from a galley to an L-shape, which required moving plumbing and electrical outlets. Electrical also needed to be brought up to code. And, we also decided to have the kitchen soffits removed, which raised our ceiling and gave us an additional 7-8" of space. We handled our own demolition, scraped the popcorn ceilings, and did our own painting. Skip handled everything else in our kitchen remodel.
