Super disappointed to leave this review but this company did exactly what I told them face to face at the home show - I didn't like about other companies I've recently experienced- they come out, take measurements, sell you on what they offer and then ghost you! Would not recommend Rose Remodeling - we met with this company at the Home show and set up an appointment- the sales rep (Eric) came out on the 4th in the evening, took measurements, we went over what we wanted and he said he would get us an estimate - haven't heard a peep - don't waste your time as they will waste yours and not communicate - he also kept saying "this is going to be expensive" without even knowing our budget. My husband was concerned that the sales guy didnt act like he knew what he was doing when talking through what we wanted, measuring - then we sat our our table for 15 minutes while he scrolled home depot site showing us shower heads -- I told him he could just send us something as I was losing patience -- so he said he would send us an estimate and left - that was 10 days ago - not an email saying working on it, not a can't do it -- nothing. I appreciate small businesses and want to support them but not to my time and expense. I also understand (from my past experince being a home show participant) that there may be an influx of sales calls, etc..however that is not an excuse for zero communcations after an inperson sales meeting. Poor leadership, sales and attention to detail which unfortunately for the team doing the work could cause more problems. Recommend to owners to be honest - if your sales team doesn't want to do the work or can't - just say so - don't say you're going to do something and never deliver!!! Also, why waste your money at the home show if this is how your sales team operates? If they don't communicate before the project, imagine the lack of communication during the project!!! RED FLAGS! I'm leaving two stars as the sales rep did provide a good picture of work Rose has done in the past that now I can use to show other companies what I want. read more

I was not a happy customer at first - but I told Rose about my complaints, and they responded and addressed each of my complaints in detail, and now I am left quite happy with the results. Thank you, Rose! Here is my original 1-star review: I hired Rose to do a shower stall remodel. Kaleb came in and did the initial measurements, and when the workers came in to do the demolition, they realized that the measurements were incorrect and they needed a different size shower pan. This was on a Thursday, and it would take a few days to get the proper size shower pan in hand. Fast forward to the next Monday, and the shower pan still hasn't come in - but the City inspector came to do an inspection. I was home alone, and told the inspector that the workers needed to wait for a different size shower pan, so I sent the inspector away. Then the Rose project manager called me and told me that I should have let the inspector in to do the inspection, or now they have to wait until the inspector can come back before they can start the work. The inspector can't come back until Thursday, so an entire week was wasted with my shower completely demolished and my master bathroom a mess. Rose has an internal communication problem that caused an ENTIRE WEEK DELAY in my project, with me living with a master bath that is unusable. read more

The drip edge on the plastic strip at the bottom of the shower door was not long enough to prevent water from hitting the shower pan and bouncing out from the gap below. I'm satisfied with the install that Ruben Bueno has completed for the ensuite shower install and also the day before Eddy did the demo and did a bang up job. Ruben had done an excellent job and was open to any questions and also was keeping me informed of each step along the way. The only situation was that didn't give RR a 5 was the shower pan I had requested was not the right size (standard ordered) instead of the lower threshold one I'd asked for. In lieu of tearing it out and having to wait another two weeks for the job to get done they provided me with a bench upgrade. Rose remodeling came out timely to complete a quote. It was at least twice as high as I was expecting. The salesman played dumb to clear discounts quoted in social media. It should NOT cost $23K for just a tub to shower remodel. I guess "commercial grade" costs too much for my budget. I think retail grade for kids bathroom will work just fine. Our Retail grade bathroom has lasted for 18 years already. I didn't choose highly expensive finishes either. The salesman told me that a retail grade bathroom will only last 3-5 years. Whatever... retail grade for me. If you are looking for a reasonable quote, I would encourage you to shop around. Even with the best products this price seems outlandish. read more

First, I have to be transparent about this review of Rose Remodeling. I filed a small claims lawsuit against them. I filed this lawsuit for ethical and not for monetary reasons. My parents instilled in me a very high work ethic mindset. So, I pay my own bills. Initially, the small claims judge ruled in our favor. However, and on appeal, the judge ruled in Rose Remodeling favor. I took this ruling graciously and humbly. The original reason I filed this small claim lawsuit against Rose Remodeling is that we explained to them that we were naive to the construction world and products as we were interviewing them to do our bathroom remodel. And we asked them to thoroughly explain to us the remodeling process and products. During this interview, we, clearly and specifically, asked for tile, we meant ceramic tile, and they, the representatives of Rose Remodeling, told us that they did install tile. They meant an acrylic paneling, fake tile, and not real tile. Yes, they showed us a model of the paneling, but we thought this was just a plastic model of the ceramic tile. We did hire them to do our remodel, and the paneling product did sit in our garage for three days. However, we thought this was the pattern to be used to lay the ceramic tile over. After installation and to our surprise, the acrylic paneling was the actual product. Afterwards, I, immediately, called Rose Remodeling to inform them that was not what we wanted. I tried to settle this issue with them but to no avail. So, and after filing a complaint against them with the California State Licensing Board (CSLB), the CSLB didn't find anything because it was my word against Rose Remodeling's word. Subsequently, I filed a small claims lawsuit against them as stated earlier. During the first small claims trial and in the appeals trial, the Rose Remodeling representative lied several times, "what a way to win a case!!!" I write this review to warn any of you thinking about hiring Rose Remodeling as your contractor. They will tell you one thing but put something totally different in the contract. They don't have a problem with lying to you. They severely lack ethics, morals, character and integrity. You can take or ignore this review. That's your choice. Steven S. read more

I just want to say that Dom was quite the installer. He did a wonderful job on my shower conversion and listened to what we had to say along the way. My 84 year old dad has long stories and Dom was very patient and glad to listen. He is awesome! Thank you Dom. I am changing my review to a 1 star. Although Dom gets a 5 star for great customer relations and shower install. The rest has been horrible. Communication, BAD. Phone call oh hello we will have someone to correct the errors (water pooling in window seal, hand rails from original tub removed and dumped without a replacement and these vacant walls) The date of the maintenance scheduled appointment I called them at 12:30 because someone was scheduled to my house between 9:30-10:30. I was told "Oh I don't know why this was scheduled on Thursday, he has the day off." HUM with that lets schedule someone else, OK. for the reschedule, I did get a phone call that Dom was sick the day he was scheduled to come back. So now 2 days were scheduled and both no one showed for repair. NOW the fun part. Does this look complete????? Nope, "Well that is where the tub was and I will talk to someone to see about it" was told us today 8/27/25. NO it has now been 5 weeks since this has been started. Additionally, I called my county to check on the final inspection and the county told me it hasn't been done. My contract does say "Customer to paint" but please advise if I should paint the 2x4's that are exposed???? Time is money and for them not to phone when the contractor isn't in is a waste of my time and money. Now we wait to get the walls filled in. I will again change my review. The job looks good. I am going with a 4 because of the listing above. Finally finished. They came in today and completed these walls which took about less than an hour. I do want to say it looks great and will look better when I lay the flooring this weekend. It just should not have taken so long. read more
