Baban's Naan is such a great place for an inexpensive delightful authentic wrap. They make the Kurdish Naan bread with a unique (to me) process and add ingredients such as falafel or a mince. They also offer kebabs here.
For the wraps, first you select your naan from many choices such as garlic, sesame, cheese, etc. and they make it fresh by stretching the dough ball on a preformed semi circle device (like an upside down bowl) and then slap the dough on the inside of a fire heated stove/oven where it clings to the side and cooks (pretty cool to watch). Then they will fry up the falafel or the mince patty your chose for your protein filling. For preparation, they put a spread on the fresh naan and then add lettuce and pickles and roll it up and hand it to you. It seems to be a pretty tried and true process and it works well.
The wrap was delicious and super fresh and tasty. Great for lunch or a light dinner. read more
