I see Jessica Waters, PA and have an absolutely fantastic relationship with her. She prescribes me the necessary medication to help me with my issues after listening to what's going on and knowing the situations I'm going through. She listens, talks with me about everything, and goes through step-by-step with me what to expect. I've had no issues and will continue working with her from here. I am happy with the business and will continue working with them for at least as long as Jessica is with the business. read more

I've been a patient for many years. Sometimes the docs run behind, but I have to say that for the past year or so it has been much better. I've been very satisfied with everyone I have dealt with, including the billing department. I think Dr. Baber always has good people working for him. It is comfortable and fair. read more

So disappointed by this practice. They can very highly recommended. We had our first appointment for my adolescent son. We waited over a month for an evening appointment. When I called to schedule the next appointment, they told me we would need to wait a month for the next appointment, unless I was willing to bring him during the day and pull him out of school (which would completely defeat the purpose of counseling). I called multiple times and did not receive a call back. Guess the concern is getting as many people through the practice as possible instead of concern for the client. Huge letdown. read more

Please do not go here! Visit 1: waited 35 minutes past appointment time. I kept asking the front desk for help but they kept telling me it would just be a few more minutes. When the doctor finally came out, he actually told me that he forgot to look at his computer to see if we had arrived! Appointment only lasted 25 min. Visit 2: I had to cancel and reschedule day of due to getting stuck in the city. Visit 2b: Went to rescheduled visit to be told by front desk that they forgot to save the reschedule and I would have to reschedule again. I told them to forget it. Now they want me to pay $50 for the visit I had to cancel!! I'll pay it because I did cancel, but I will NEVER go there and will tell everyone I can to NEVER go there. read more

I spoke with Dr. Baber for roughly 4 - 7 minutes on the phone. He called me to discuss a research study that I signed up for my daughter. I answered my phone, a rude man ( he didn't even introduce himself at first) says to me, I got your number from one of my associates about your son. I said "who is this? I don't have a son." Then he said he was Dr. Baber and he wanted to have the conference call with me & my son as planned by his associate. I reiterated that I don't have a son & I asked who he was. Finally he told me it was about the research study & realized he had the wrong info in front of him. He then asked to speak to my daughter. I told him he needed to tell me about the research study before she would come to the phone as he is a stranger. I also told him I expected the call earlier in the day not when we were sitting down to eat dinner. He actually told me that most people don't eat at 4:30pm. I said well we do meals based on when my daughter needs to eat & if he was really a psychiatrist he should understand depression issues and be more understanding. He was very rude. After that few minute conversation I would never allow my daughter to do a research study with this horrid person. I would fear how he treats a person with depression. He should be ashamed of how he speaks to people. Not even worth a single star based off of the phone conversation. read more

I had a great experience through a research study with Dr. Baber and his nurse Tina. He and Tina were nothing short of professional, caring, and considerate of our time restraints and any other situations. I would highly recommend Baber research services for anyone that would qualify for the studies. I have also seen Dr. Baber in regards to my anxiety disorder and he was very supportive and helped me find the right medication for me. I have recommended friends in the past to his practice and will continue to do so in the future. read more

My brother goes to JR Konny a very good psychologist but Riaz Baber MD is rude and arrogant we are switching to another practice.

Please dont take your kids to see Dr. Riaz Baber. All the posts here are absolutely true. His office borders on the truly incompetent. Everything from quality of care, follow up, appointment scheduling etc. There is an unmistakable aura of indifference throughout the entire office. I took my son there twice but never again. Keep looking. Report lousy doctors to your insurance company. read more

Throughout high school I had extremely bad anxiety, with awful physical and mental symptoms. Dr Baber's office was the first to get me in immediately to help address the situation. What I enjoy about this office is that you usually get in pretty early after you call, I have never had to wait more than a week. Although I never go to work with Dr. Baber I always saw his PA's which in the past two and half years has been a range of 3 different people because they have all come and left abruptly. It was challenging and frustrating to have to reexplain my problems two different times to a different PA when I was in the middle of switching medicines. Right now I love my PA I have had her for a year or maybe more and she is genuinely caring and will do what's best for you. I really enjoy the environment at Baber's office, but I always recommend getting a second look on things from another psychiatrist before you settle down and choose the first one you go to! read more

I've seen about 3 psychs there due to turnover. Yenna Chin is by far the worst I've dealt with. She has no people/communication skills and my last visit with her was absolutely horrible. Yenna was belittling, judgmental and unprofessional. She was snappy with me and only wants to prescribe meds on top of meds on top of meds. I refused her idea of prescribing a ton of meds and she responded with, "Well, what are you here to see me for? All I can do is prescribe you with meds!" She doesn't remember a single fact from previous visits and I have to reexplain things constantly such as why I wish not to take particular medication due to horrible side affects. She tries to prescribe these very meds every time I see her! I requested to have her complete documents for intermittent FMLA in case I experience days that are more difficult than others. She replied that she would only approve me for 4 days per year which makes absolutely no sense! Her demeanor and attitude was very belittling. This business has made thousands off of my visits. I have 4 degrees and I am very educated and don't deserve to be treated this way because I am a human who happens to suffer from depression. I am doing everything in my power to work through it with therapy and exercise and just want to make sure that my career is secure when I face difficult moments. On the other hand, Dana at the front desk is awesome but other than that I'm done with this place! read more

Dont waste your time with this doctor. He only wants to see patients who fit a specific profile for his research study. If your child has complex behavioral issues or is already taking meds, he wont bother to help. I didnt even receive a referral to someone who could help us when he told us we didnt qualify for his help. Apathetic and uncaring. read more

Told my sister what she wanted to hear instead of truly testing her. Passed her to a colleague who used to body guard for a 1970s rock band, and only day and talked with her instead of properly diagnosing her with Paranoid Personality Disorder. The therapist said that they can't force my sister to accept treatment, which I understand, but for those few months that she did accept treatment, she was great! My sister told me yeah Dr Babet said, "...this is not your true personality...", giving her the impression that she'd be cured in a few months or so. They Didn't STRESS THE SEVERITY OF HER DISORDER. NOW SHE'S STILL HEARING AND SEEING THINGS AND OFF HER MEDS! read more
