If you are resident of East Lake / Decatur / Kirkward and not looking for a fancy place, but rather some old skool mechanics this is your place. Based on the amount of cars and types of vehicles they work on they can solve the a wide range of mechanical issue. I don't believe they work on foreign car (I could be wrong)...but Japanese and American cars and its a good idea to call ahead as there are some limitations on space. This is a place that you can negotiate on the repairs based on my personal experience and can save $$ but at the same time get work done at a reasonable cost. I brought my old pickup truck in based on some recommendations from the guys at the auto parts store to repair electrical issue that another mechanic could not resolve. At the time there was no reviews on yelp and was flying blind since I was new to the Kirkwood..new to Atlanta. I drove by the place and it looked like they dabbled in everything, brakes, electrical, mechanical... etc. I spoke to Reginald about the issue on my starter and he agreed he would resolve the issue. The only downside to my experience was that it took longer than expected to resolve the issue (no fault of there own...it took them awile to troubleshoot issue.. which at other mechanical shop would charge you more), secondly Reginald did not call me to inform me of the estimate before starting on the repair, which was a little disappointing. Regardless, they were able to they resolve the electrical issue the following day. I will continue to update my experience the next time I have other work done there. NOTE: CASH ONLY. After my early check-in, I sat in the waiting area for about two hours, watching and listening to the manager interacting with customers. My observations? Friendly, matter-of-fact, clear. Andy explained everything going on with his client's cars. He made recommendations, and more importantly, noted what didn't need to be done. He gave accurate representations about when services would be completed. For my car, he got the part quickly and told me they had looked over the whole car and only found one repair that needed to be made (besides my originating situation). He was accurate in his honesty, because I already knew I was needing a new rear brake job in the next month. While my car was being repaired, I walked around downtown Decatur. I reacquainting myself with some old, and mostly new, businesses and restaurants. I arrived back at the repair shop in the mid-afternoon, just after they finished repairing the car. I called right when they opened and they were able to take me in right away! I received a phone call a little over and hour later from the mechanic informing me that I had an issue with my belt. The mechanic said the belt was structurally intact and looked new but was responsible for the sound. He said he sprayed it with WD 40 which eliminated the sound but informed me it would come back eventually. He told me I could replace the belt to eliminate the sound permanently or I could pass on replacing the belt as it was still functioning properly and brand new. Definitely a mechanic I will be back to visit as I know they are not trying to stick me with random charges for parts I don't need.

They were so polite and said they would look at my car to let me know the cost. I got a very reasonable cost and they promised it would be done in "2 hours and 30 minutes." My husband picked me up to take me home, and exactly 2 hours and 30 minutes later I got a phone call to let me know that my car was ready for pickup. Awesome. Another poster on here mentioned that the shop doesn't accept credit cards, but they clarified that they only accept MasterCard and Visa. However, when I went to pay the machine was down. (Not their fault as technology sucks sometimes.) I would definitely use these guys again.

I came to Usman Sule for a simple tuneup which cost me $200 and my car afterwards was damaged he went and bought cheap spark plugs for my car that didn't fit. And I had to come back numerous times for nothing to be fixed on whatever they did to my car after a tuneup. I had no problems with my car | just wanted a tuneup being a girl not knowing about cars thinking I was just maintaining my car seeing as it's a used car. I was refunded my $200 dollars back after two weeks of driving up there for them to fix what they did to my car. They never were able to. Take my advice and never give them your time and your money. You will regret doing so. Cheap work. Edit: My car is still running rough and having a misfire after having another mechanic change all 6 fuel injectors ignition coils and plugs. Come to find out Usman Sule never changed out my spark plugs my mechanic had to put lubricants to take them off. Never EVER go to this place they are just money greedy not decent or reputable mechanics.
