Got my conch pierced here about six months ago. I didn't have any major issues at first, but…read morerecently the jewelry started sinking into my skin. I went to another piercing studio to get it checked, and they were shocked that the piercer (Derek) used a 1/4-inch post. They told me that length is extremely short for a conch piercing and couldn't believe he was even able to get jewelry that short into cartilage at all They said it was surprising I didn't have problems sooner. I ended up needing my conch re-pierced so it can heal properly.
