I scheduled and appointment with my artist, Ariana for our session that we had a couple days later. On the spot we started going over what the elements were going to be to this very special tattoo I was getting. We were experiencing computer issues for the next two days and my emails weren't received until the morning of my tattoo. Thankfully we communicated really well and Ariana sketched my tattoo for me and adjusted it the same day. The tattoo was in memoriam of my younger brother who was killed in his early 20s very tragically. I knew that Ariana understood how much this tattoo meant to me. She took her time and it turned out better than I ever could have imagined. She's so gifted and such a talented artist. Flowers become alive when she's tattooing them, which was an important factor to me. The realism was exactly what I was looking for and she nailed it and still made it original. When I'm back in town I will return just to say hello and thank you again. Or if needed for a touchup but that's about it. She did an incredible job. I'm really pleased with her work. I would happily come back to Ariana and the shop again for additional tattoos. I loved the shop/parlor and everyone in it. Everyone is super talented on the staff. It's very clean inside, everything is opened, sterilized and fresh. All precautions and safety measure are taken by staff during this difficult time. Masks were always worn by all. Oh! I also thought they played AWESOME music the two days I had been there!! I still have more ink to get done so I'm saving some money up in a separate little fund for myself so that I can do it. When we got there we had trouble with some previous commitments and were late to our appointment, but we contacted via instagram and talked the whole time explaining and apologizing and accorded that it was ok and that we should make it anyway. Came here to get my earlobe double piercing. Matt was absolutely incredible and made my experience so relaxing and safe. He disinfected everything, made sure to wear gloves and change them through every step of the process. He eased all of my anxiety and made me feel so calm and reassured. Mickey's work is beautiful as well, he was tattooing a client while I was in there. The shop is very clean and has top of the line equipment. These guys really love what they do, and they do a damn good job at it. All touch ups are free, which I think is awesome. I even got a free tshirt lol. They have water bottles there that you can buy in case you get thirsty or dehydrated. And they even have sugar pills in case you get low blood sugar! I am so happy to have found this shop and would def recommend! I had been wanting this tattoo for months and was determined to find an artist I really valued, as it was a tribute piece for a friend that passed last year. On my initial stop in, Skyler gave me the time and attention needed to understand my vision of the tattoo and relieve any of my apprehensions while explaining his artistic opinions. He did make some changes to my original sample picture but explained his reasoning and I trusted his artistic ideas. There was an adjustment he made that I kinda wish he hadn't BUT looking back on it, he did show me and he did tatt what he drew, I should have just been more observant of this slight alteration. His schedule was pretty full but worked with my time restraints (I was there visiting) and got me in within the week. He was extremely professional and I felt completely comfortable with him and the studio was very clean and welcoming. I was pretty anxious/emotional while he worked, and he was completely understanding as I just chilled with my eyes closed and listened to my music.
