Got my conch pierced here about six months ago. I didn't have any major issues at first, but recently the jewelry started sinking into my skin. I went to another piercing studio to get it checked, and they were shocked that the piercer (Derek) used a 1/4-inch post. They told me that length is extremely short for a conch piercing and couldn't believe he was even able to get jewelry that short into cartilage at all They said it was surprising I didn't have problems sooner. I ended up needing my conch re-pierced so it can heal properly. read more

Hands-down one of the cleanest and nicest tattoo shops I've been to! The same goes for the piercing room. EVERYONE there is very nice and welcoming. Every time I have come in, I have felt very comfortable. All of the artists have their own style with many years of experience. I came in with a friend as she was getting a tattoo by Luna, and I have ended up coming back to her for my own tattoos probably about a dozen times after that. Got crooked nipple piercings here which takes removing them 3 months and reliving the extreme pain to fix so I wouldn't recommend getting that done here. Also recommended the wrong size jewelry for one of my other piercings. I got a tattoo of simple line work flowers on my rib cage by Caleb and when he was done and I left, I noticed the tattoo was blown out almost immediately. At first I was hoping it was just bruising but as time went on it was not getting better. The tattoo was definitely blown out before I left the shop. it was incredibly unprofessional of him to let me leave without telling me the tattoo was blown out. He specifically stated he was "light handed" but clearly that was not true. I really liked Calebs work which is why I went to him but I was just very disappointed with my tattoo by him. Got a tattoo before the pandemic at this shop and got what the "artist" wanted to do more than what I wanted done. I was still relatively happy with the outcome and felt that the things I didn't like could be corrected in the final sitting. I went back recently to set up the finish and was told that the "artist" had left. I was talking to someone about what I wanted done to make this tattoo what I intended it to be and was met with him telling me what I needed to do instead of trying to make it what I wanted. The biggest thing was the use of white ink. I told him that I know that white has a tendency to fade but that I wanted it done anyway. At this time the owner stepped in and began to (rudely in a condescending way) tell me that I didn't know what I was talking about. He told me that areas in the tattoo that were obviously white ink were just shaded that way and were not 'white'. He said that if I put white in that it would 'move', fade away completely or turn brown. If he is so against of white ink he may want to remove it from his supply of ink. I told this story to several people at work that are familiar with this shop and they were not surprised about the attitude and rudeness I got. My husband and I spoke to Keegan over Facebook on Friday morning March 13th. After a few messages back and forth he got us on the schedule with Caleb. We set the appointment for 7 pm for both of us to have our tattoos done. About 5 pm Keegan messaged me explaining that Caleb was running a little behind on another piece he was doing and asked if we could come in at 8 pm instead. Of course we accepted. We got to the shop just before 8 pm. All of the staff were very attentive. They were extremely busy will allot of piercings but kept us up to date on the delay. Caleb drew our tattoos to perfection! He took his time making sure the tats were exactly what we wanted. Once we got started I had a very bad "hot flash" that damn near made me pass out. He stopped had me control my breathing and take in some water. The entire time (about 1.5 hours) he made sure I was doing OK and was willing to take as many breaks if I needed them. After I was done he proceeded to do my husbands tat, which turned out great!! We couldn't be more pleased with both of our tattoos. The shop closes at 10 pm on Fridays and Caleb stayed until midnight when we were done. Caleb is very professional, his station is VERY clean, and just an all around great guy! I have already recommended him to several friends and we will definitely be going back!! Yo Keegan.....make sure you are taking care of our new found brother!! read more

Was recommended by someone on AMI. Called and made last minute appointments. That is awesome that they can accommodate that. Turned out when we came the next day that the email for our tattoo didn't come through. Anyone, I believe, that cares about their work, would have called and said they didn't receive the information. Instead we showed to be made to feel like we had done something wrong. The guy that does piercings should NEVER answer the phone or work the front deck. He is extremely rude and void of personality. We had Codie. Knowing she was new, we took a chance. She was completely void of personality and seemed to have a problem working on a tattoo. Anyone with a tattoo, or that is an artist, knows that what you put on your body should be what you want. You should NEVER be somewhere where they make you feel bad because they don't like the design or don't like the work. Bullshit. That being said, Codie is fantastic in her line work. Hopefully her and the staff there can work on their customer service. We almost walked multiple times off something that was so simple. Tattoo 101. Not that hard. Boyfriend got a tattoo there, lost ink which wasn't a big deal. But some of the lines were messed up and needed fixed. Called to see if he could get it touched up and fixed, was told that the owner wanted to take care of it because the artist doesn't work there anymore.
