Plus, the service support makes the difficult choice easy and they have the most elegant gift wrapping. Despite being a baby "boutique" the prices are reasonable and competitive, so ideal to shop last minute while supporting local business. This store is precious, too bad the employees are nasty snobs. My sister and I went with my daughter on our way to the airport because I looked online and liked some of the brands they sold, I guess we didn't fit the part because we couldn't get help no matter how hard we tried and trying to get past people in an aisle was putting them out. We found this store on a trip to Atlanta. We just found out we were having a little boy and we wanted to find some cute clothes that you can't find anywhere else. Let's say after $1,800 of clothes we were NOT disappointed. Let's just say that after going through so many failed IVF attempts and finally getting pregnant with a donor egg. We were overly ecstatic and over the moon when choosing his wardrobe. We bought many different sizes to accommodate his growth. Over the year we have ordered items for our friends for their newborns and purchased items for ourselves. I needed a travel bag for his Vista stroller and the staff had one and even climbed a ladder to verify that is what I wanted. Plus have me great tips. I can't wait to visit again with my son and wife this weekend. The staff here is amazing and the selections are well thought out to make your child stylish and well educated. read more

Baby Braithwaite is a cute little baby shop that recently moved from the Westside to its current location on W. Paces Ferry. I do not have a baby and am not currently expecting one. A good friend registered for gifts here so off I went to get some cute stuff for her baby shower. I was greeted by a helpful person as soon as I walked in the door. Maybe it was my dazed look of confusion that is permanently etched on my face whenever I enter a place that has anything to do with babies. I told her I was here to buy some stuff off of a baby registry. She offered to print it out for me and bring it to me while I browsed around. I got the registry printout and proceeded to walk around like a lost person. The helpful salesperson promptly came back and asked if I needed any assistance finding anything. I just pointed at things on the piece of paper and she fetched them all for me from around the store. Thank goodness for nice salespeople. After they gathered my items for me, I proceeded to checkout. They asked if I wanted their signature wrapping for $3. I accepted. $3 is not a lot to avoid having to wrap a gift yourself, but other baby stores offer wrapping and/or packaging for free. read more

Great staff that is knowledge and willing to help answer questions. There is a lot of cute baby toys as well as clothes, strollers, and furniture but without feeling overwhelmed like at a big box retailer. It's nice to know they took the time to sort through all the merchandise to try to provide the most useful and well crafted items. Wonderful store if you look like you belong in the area, since that's the only way to even get a staff member to even look at you. Even after going out of my way to wait in line at checkout to ask a simple question about shoes and finally got a lady to help me, she was extremely lackadaisical and I could tell she could not be bothered to lift a finger to help me any more than Absolutely necessary. Wonderful selection of great, quality products that come highly recommended. It's as though Baby Braithwaite does the research for you in finding the best and latest products. Prices are quite high and they don't have sales. I was told that what doesn't sell goes to charity. You may be able to find it cheaper online. Customer service is not consistent, some days they're friendly, others almost bothered by patrons. The store can come off as pretentious and not welcoming. However displays are beautiful. Nice for presents especially since they offer customized unique gifts, though expensive. I noticed that another boutique baby store just opened around the corner on Roswell Rd called Feather Baby. I walked into the store on 2/11 and there were no customers. However there was plenty of staff people and NO ONE even greated me. I was dressed in workout clothes and maybe they thought I couldn't afford to shop there. WRONG I could and I would,have except I find it extremely rude when sales folks don't greet customers upon walking in. I was there for,over 10 minutes before I gave up. This is the most beautiful baby store I have ever seen in my life. I finally got a chance to stop by today and really enjoyed my visit. They have basically every high-end baby product you can think of - aden and anais, tons of expensive (but very cute) baby clothes, organic products, baby toys, etc. Aside from a trip to Buy Buy Baby and some trips to Target, my husband and I do the majority of our baby shopping online. However, there are some things that are just so hard to imagine from a photo online. The thing I love about this place is that almost every product that I had said "Man, I wish I could see that in real life" over the past month was here. There were even products I never knew of but discovered through this place. For example, I have been searching online for a teether after not being happy with the $2 teether choices at Target/Walmart. There is an entire section dedicated to teethers here and the salesperson was very attentive and helpful when helping me pick out one. I appreciated that she didn't instantly recommend Sophie the Giraffe like everyone does, and actually recommended a green sprouts one which I know my baby will love! This is a great place to shop if you're looking for the very best for your baby (organic, nontoxic, trendy) and willing to spend the money to pay for it. I will be back! read more

I had a great experience when I was pregnant and used them as my main registry. Unfortunately my sister has had the opposite luck. We bought her Moses basket from there and unfortunately it had bugs in it.. Not only did it have bugs but when we called and spoke to the manager, not only was she rude but she is denying that they sell the basket and refusing to take any responsibility. Even after showing proof from the credit card company that we purchased from them she is still not being helpful. Very disappointing. read more

While this store is beautiful and full of high-end baby and children's products, the last time I was in the store, most of the staff was far too busy making the store look pretty to help us out. There was a woman on staff walking around the store who obviously observed my husband and me struggling to figure out one of the strollers in the back. She passed us at least four times before asking us if we needed help with an annoyed facial expression and tone of voice. She informed us that she knew nothing about the stroller but could find someone who could. This statement sounded downright rude. The incredulous woman eventually sent over a very nice young lady to help us who, it seemed, knew less about the stroller than we did. She was obviously trying to help us and doing the best she could, but someone failed her in training. There is no excuse for an employee in a store that sells no more than 6 models of stroller at a time not to know how to operate each one. That is a failure of management. The employee herself was obviously flustered and trying very hard. Sweet gal. Lastly, my daughter took a shine to one of the toys in the store and we decided to buy it for her. There was not a single cashier to be found, though there were three employees in the store. Apparently, they were all busy maintaining the beautiful look for which the store is known, but what is the point of having a beautiful store if you won't sell your products? Once again, my husband was ignored by the rude lady we encountered before until she eventually became so annoyed by his presence that she told him she would go get a cashier because she simply doesn't do cashier work. Eventually, we were able to pay, but were rushed out the door in favor of the two other customers in the store browsing baby furniture. We both felt extremely disregarded. I addition, there is no reason for a baby store not to supply a changing table in the restroom. Unless there's one hidden in one of the stalls, I didn't see one. I had to go change my daughter in the backseat of my car enduring freezing temperatures. I hate to say this, but I've encountered more knowledgable, friendlier, and far more professional staff at a Babies R Us, where you won't pay anywhere NEAR the prices (nor usually find the quality) that you will in this store. For the amount of money each customer is likely to shell out, this store needs more attention paid to its customer service. I am very willing to pay more for a better experience and a better product, but not if it seems as if my business isn't important to the staff and management. I'd hesitate to return to this store, as much as I enjoy the products on offer. read more

Very tired of boutiques with gorgeous product, high price point and no operations or customer service acumen. Trying to buy a registry gift for a friend's shower was just brutally difficult experience. Asking for the registry list, the salesperson was visibly annoyed that I had not printed it out before I came into store. Probably annoyed because she had no idea how to access it. Then she had no idea how to find the product I chose. The whole process took 30 minutes. Also noticed a lot of product was out of stock on the registry list for my friend. Very disappointing. Bottom line: for a baby store this beautiful and expensive, the experience of shopping should match the expectations. read more

I have shopped at this store for several years, and although I love the products and the atmosphere, I have found the service to be hit or miss. After my experience today, I doubt I will be back. Four staff members were behind the counter, one at each register, and two wrapping gifts. No customers were around. As I approached the counter holding an item to purchase in one hand and my baby in an infant seat in the other, no one so much as looked up at me. I stood there for a few moments until one clerk deigned to make eye contact and told me someone would be with me in a minute. One or two other staff members buzzed in and out, but no one else looked at me or noticed I was carrying a baby and just trying to pay and leave. After several more minutes, someone else finally asked what I needed. As my purchase was being rung up, one of them said something about how she hadn't seen me standing in front of her. As if that made me feel better about having been ignored. The clerk ringing me up hardly spoke to me. Finally someone else tried to actually greet me, interact with me, and apologize for the situation, but it was too late. I would have left without buying anything, except I was on my way to visit a friend with a new baby and couldn't go empty-handed. I'm sorry I spent money there, but at least I didn't shell out $5 to have my gift wrapped in a cloth sack. read more
