I'm always hesitant to hire a vendor for something I feel that I can do myself, but after a couple gates that were less than ideal and a bunch of failed attempts with various cabinet locks from Amazon, I finally reached out because I just needed this to be done with! From within two days of reaching out, they were at our house and setting up the most incredible solutions that same day. When they left, I felt almost giddy from having this massive weight lifted. I was also surprised how affordable it was. They put in several gates, replaced tons of our sockets, put in cabinet locks in all of our bathrooms and kitchen, top of the door locks, and even a retractable gate solution for our foyer that saved our antique stairs from ruin and has been a total game changer. What a huge relief to know my house is ready for whatever my toddler throws at it. Well, probably not but I feel way more prepared now! Ed and Jim truly care about preventing injuries and it shows. I heard back from them within a few hours of leaving a message and scheduled an appointment for only a few days later. They were prompt, polite (even took their shoes off without being asked) and got right down to work assessing my house. I didn't feel pressured at all and they even talked me out of a few things. I consider myself to be pretty OCD and I've read up on baby proofing, but man did I get schooled. Ed and Jim pointed out things I never would have thought of and gave me tips for how to act around my daughter to prevent her from mimicking my behavior. I chose to have everything done in one session although they offered to leave the estimate and return, or even step outside if I wanted to call my husband to discuss things (lol). They gathered their supplies from the van and within an hour installed two custom gates, kitchen cabinet and drawer locks, multiple upper door locks and heavy furniture tethers. They even replaced my door stop. It's not an inexpensive endeavor (my final bill was several hundred dollars), but every house and family is different and the work Ed and Jim do is completely custom to you.
