We found Wood Flooring Masters through Yelp and found the process of working with them very challenging. On one hand, the job is complete and we are relatively happy with our floors. On the other hand, working with them was extremely frustrating. They would often miss the window they were schedule to work by hours and sometimes multiple days. They had one manager that was very hard to get a hold of, and material they used that they claimed would hold up simply did not (the cement and wood dust filler to fill the flooring gaps). We had them refinish large parts of our house and completely re do the flooring in other parts. We noticed that they were building some parts of our stairs without subflooring (absolutely not structurely sound, they had to re do that), a portion of our landing that they did they never sanded (when you run your hand across it's obviously uneven), and there's a spill of floor stain at the bottom of our master stairs (I kid you not). They came and fixed some things (things not listed here, missing door saddles, etc) when pressured, but eventually working with them was so unpleasant (being late, defensive, etc) we stopped following up with them. For this reason, I can not recommend them. read more

Wood Flooring Masters did an amazing job on our condo floors. Mayke came for an estimate and was very knowledgeable right from the start. He knew what kind of floors we had and explained our options. We had various other companies come and estimate, some lower in price, but when we told this to WFM they matched the others and included materials in their quote which all others didn't and would have come to much more after signing the estimate. They also found exactly the color we were looking for and didn't limit us certain options. Esma was amazing with communication and answered all my calls/sent the COI to our condo association immediately when I asked her too. Paulo came to put the floors in and we were amazed by his work. Everything looks amazing! He pays great attention to details and works hard all day to get the job done. He completed the job in 3 days including placing the boards, adjusting doors to swing properly after the boards were placed, and removing and adding new shoe molding that also required caulking. Had my apartment floors sanded after24 years. They are original to this 100 plus year old building. Wood Flooring Masters were very professional from my first call to site survey and to the scheduled day for project. WFM was always responsive with text, email and by phone. The 3 man team worked well together helping to move furniture and prepare the space without incident. I chose the desired stain after seeing them sampled on my floor so there would be no surprise. What a wonderful team! I only have positive things to say about the entire process. What we originally thought was just going to be replacing some wood boards and sealing/finishing them turned into a much bigger project that involved also needing to fix an issue with the beams. We have been shopping at wod flooring mastersfor many years and have remodeled a handful of houses using their material. They are simply the best in terms of product, service and communication. Recently we remodeled a more high end home and used them for our hardwood floors, all of our tile from Bedrosians (they got us a better price than direct) and also our reclaimed wood mantle.
