The showroom and staff will far exceed your expectations of all things baby. Kate and David were both so kind and took all of the guess work out of our questions and concerns. We ended up purchasing an entire nursery set and glider and were wowed by the discounts you get when bundling. I never make public business recommendations or reviews but I have one today- Highly discourage friends / family from utilizing Baby Supermart for the baby furniture needs. Our experience today was highly upsetting. My husband and I walked in ready to make our purchase, I had been to this store 2x before to research and look at furniture and brought Alex today purely to show him in person what we are ordering and make the purchase. After we walked in another white couple walked in behind us, while we were looking at the chairs in the up front room of the store the sales lady said hi to the other couple who walked in behind us. We moved towards the cribs and the sales lady a few minutes with the second couples talking about sales and deliver, the three of them walked in our direction and the sales lady looked at us a few times and then went back to the counter. After that two more couples walked in behind the 2nd couple and all wonderfully greeted .. we stood very visibly in there aisle looking at the cribs in the front and nobody said a word to us. We walked around a little bit- in there for 20 min nobody came up to us/ talked to us/ nothing. The past two times I had been to this store with other female friends, each time was greeted and checked on multiple times. So being in the store about 20 Min total with not one sales person saying a word to us was very surprising, not to mention the stark contrast of every other customer in the store being greeted and spoken to and us being completely ignored. Needless to say we walked out and will not be spending money with this store. read more

We came here to check out baby stuff as we are new to this and needs some guidance. I wanted to see a variety of cribs, changing tables, and dressers in person and not just rely on pictures. They have over 70 assembled cribs here! They also have lots of furniture sets on display as well as storage solutions, decor, and bedding. The front of the store has about 40 gliders and recliners you can try out. We are looking at spending around $700 on a power recliner/glider, so it was very important to us to be able to sit in it and make sure it's comfy. The staff here are very helpful, but not intrusive. They let us wander around on our own, but they checked in once every 20 min or so. This is a great place to go to furnish your nursery or just to get ideas of what styles you like. I highly recommend a visit if you are nearby. read more

I have to leave a review because the experience I had here was amazing. After having two damaged cribs sent to my home from buy buy baby I gave up until I found this place. I drove over an hour both ways and couldn't be more happier. The selection of cribs was great because everything was out to see. The staff was super friendly and informative about prices and dates and everything else I needed to know. The crib came in under 3 weeks! It was delivered and assembled by three gentlemen who were accommodating, friendly and overall great. We are fortunate enough to live right around the corner from Baby Supermart, which is ranked as one of the top baby stores in the nation in Baby Bargains, despite not being a national chain. When we went crib shopping for baby #1, we knew we wanted one of those sets that converts to a bed and lasts through college. We started at Babies r us, figuring they would have a bigger selection. The set we picked out from there was made of "rubber wood", which is basically a wood-like material made from the rubber tree plant (side note: the only feature of that we liked was the possibility of making jokes about silly ol ants). However, the cost was comparable to the sets at Baby Supermart, which were made with real wood. My initial reaction at Baby Supermart's crib selection there was that everything seemed really big, but that's just because babies r us is so huge and open, where as this place has probably the same number of cribs in a much smaller area. The sales people were not only very helpful (something you can't say at all at Babies r s), but also weren't pushy with trying to upsell unnecessary pieces. We have been very pleased with their selection and services. Additionally, when the pieces arrived, one item's stain was slightly off compared to the rest, so they called us ahead a time to warn us of that, and said they would deliver it anyway for us to use in the meantime and would swap it out with the replacement which was on its way asap. This place is way over-priced. I'm sorry I wasted my time. Everyone was nice, but when I shared with them the Divinci crib we had been considering online, they pretty much gave up. They said they could not offer anything like it for the price. Well, we were out of there real quick. I do not know why a place is going to do business with baby products if they cannot come close to the cost of one of the most popular brands in a business. I bought all of my 1st born's furniture in here. Great selection, great prices and awesome sales associates who are patient and helpful. Its a hidden gem. I'm pregnant with my 2nd and was in there this week getting a new mattress and changing pad. The sales associate was super helpful, fast and even gave my daughter an infant baby hat so she could put it on her doll to play with while I shopped. Such a sweet gesture and really appreciated. Its really hard to get anything done with a toddler in tow so when you visit a business that is not only welcoming to the toddler but understanding and helpful it really means the world. She even helped me out to the car with the stuff we bought. I've told a few other moms I've met around town and wasn't surprised to hear from those who had also been there that they had similar experiences. Great place! Happy to know it :) read more

I have to disagree with one reviewer. There are definitely bargains to be had at this store and the quality is top notch. We got our baby's crib, mattress and dresser for under 1K with delivery and set up. They have lots of choices at many price points. Ours was slightly more expensive because we chose to get furniture that wasn't made in China, although if that isn't a worry for you they have those too. It was a concern for us and so we didn't start at BRU. They were also running a deal at the time that when you purchased one piece of furniture, you would get another piece of furniture (of equal or lesser value) at a discount. The thing that I LOVE about this company is the customer service. They are ALWAYS friendly and helpful when you call the store or when you are in the store. I recently called because my daughter's dresser has a big crack in it. It is under a year old and the crack just appeared one day on the side panel. They are replacing it for free, no questions asked. They also offered 1/2 price for the delivery of the new piece if I needed it delivered. I doubt BRU or Target would do something like that. I can't say enough about this business. I know it isn't the cheapest around, but I also have no problem paying for quality products, friendly and helpful sales people, and customer service that is beyond anything that I've experienced. read more

This is a nationally renown, serious baby furniture store. It's in the famed Oprah-seal-of-approval Baby Bargains book. Todd and I took a swirl through and they have everything you would need to equip your house and nursery. I only give it four stars because I CAN'T AFFORD ANYTHING THERE- well, that's not totally true but it's REAL furniture. Like, pass down to your kids and their kids, REAL. They don't follow you around and keep asking if they can help you. They show you where everything is at and hang out and wait to see if you have questions. I bought a crib for my oldest child here. It's a great crib. It's held up well. It's very pretty. They were helpful in picking it out and setting up delivery. Unfortunately the experience I had looking for furniture for my second child was not as pleasant. We were laughed at for asking if they carried bassinets. I thought that was a fairly reasonable question, considering it's a baby furniture store. I'm still not sure why it warranted that response. We were going to look for a few more things, but after the sales person walked away from us, we were happier to leave and spend our time and money elsewhere. read more

I assumed that an independent furniture store would be out of my price point - I figured I'd be relegated to buying my baby furniture at a big box store, or online. We did those rounds and just felt like there wasn't a lot of quality for the money. Now, granted, I was never thinking that I'd get a dresser, crib, mattress and changing table for the sub $1k you can often find them at the big box stores but I also didn't want to drop $3k on a set. We decided to head down to Baby Supermart and see what they had that was more mid-priced. The store isn't much to look at from the outside, but once inside, it is baby furniture heaven! They do carry some lower priced items (you can get a crib/mattress/dresser set for sub $1k) and they are always offering sales (both a list of monthly specials, as well as discounts generally for making a purchase of multiple items at once. I really liked some of their Westwood and Childcraft Legacy pieces - a quick tour of BRU/BBB/Amazon online showed that Baby Supermart met or beat their prices on every piece I looked at. They also carry a great selection of rockers/gliders (I may have fallen asleep in a Mon Bebe piece...) as well as some clothing & accessories. We found the staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful. We're waiting to see what the June specials will be, but I'm pretty sure they will be getting our business. The delivery fee is a bit hefty for deliveries as far north of Philly as we are, but definitely worth it to us to not have to lug a dresser up a flight of stairs! read more

Manufacturer is out of business as a last ditch effort called Baby Supermart, Dave went out of his way to find the parts I needed. I figured I'd be buying the nursery furniture online, knowing that most of the large baby store quality is just crap. And I felt there really was no happy medium between crap furniture and high end like Restoration Hardware. This is the place. We went there to look a month ago, and came back to purchase after spotting a beautiful set. This place has the largest on-display of crib sets (I believe a worker said 75) than you will find anywhere. And its so nice to actually touch the furniture rather than pictures or online. It's not out of budget either, and had great prices & deals. Ended up ordering a crib, dresser, 2 mattresses, a glider, my mom's crib for a jaw dropping low price. We were able to find the crib and dresser online for a lesser price, and the store had a promotion that they will discount 15% if an item is priced lower online. Using this promotion we were able to buy a beautiful nursery set for a very affordable price (cheaper than online). Do some research online, and utilize their coupons! We went there with the intention of buying Young America furniture and I was very happy with the selection. Things may not be the cheapest but it's all well made which I think is more important. I have nothing but positive things to say about Baby Super Mart. We had previously registered at Buy Buy Baby for furniture but I really didn't love the limited options for furniture, so I kept searching for more. The outside of the building is a little deceiving, so we pulled up and I was like "where are we?!". We were greeted by Dave who was extremely helpful and friendly. He is a long time resident of the town we live in and we really had a nice time chatting. I was a bit overwhelmed when we first walked in because we had so many options but the staff let us take our time. They were available but not at all pushy. We ended up coming back 2 additional times before purchasing and I never felt any pressure. Each time we came back, we had helpful sales people. One gentleman answered many little detailed things for me! Once purchased, the timeline was exactly has Dave had predicted. We got to schedule the delivery and were able to do so within the week. The delivery charge (which was extremely reasonable) also included set up which was a blessing for my husband and I!!! They gave us a 2 hour window and were there within the first hour. The unloading and set up were all done within 25 minutes and the furniture was placed exactly to our liking! I thought the prices, for the quality, were extremely reasonable...the store also provided a coupon and the mattresses were on sale during our visit so I was very please with the final costs!!! They also have a nice selection of clothes etc! I highly recommend this store. The furniture quality as well as the quality of service are outstanding! read more

We got a wonderful deal on an amazing quality set! We did research on the price and they were the best price! We bought her crib, hutch, dresser, nightstand and chair and ottoman here! All of the finest quality! This set is so sturdy and beautiful! It will last her hopefully until shes in high school! She also got a toddler rail and a kit to convert the bed into a full size bed! I continue to have the worst experience with this place. We bought furniture for my 3 year old daughter last May 2014 in anticipation of her brother's arrival (he was getting her convertible crib and dresser). The furniture arrived and it was not what we ordered. They had to reorder and it thankfully arrived just before the new baby was born, however the knobs on the dresser were all scratched. They said they would replace. Fast forward 6 months, we finally get replacement knobs in the mail and they are the wrong color. It has now been 9 months since I ordered this furniture and I STILL do not have replacement knobs. This has been the worst experience and I would NEVER buy from this place again. read more

My husband, my in-laws and I made the hour long trip to visit Baby Supermart because of the great reviews and the number of brands on their website. The male sales person was pushy and condescending from the beginning. He totally blew off my questions about toxic materials used in the construction on any of the cribs. Many of the brands from the website were not there or selection was very limited. When asked to point out certain brands, the sales people seemed annoyed. Why oh why is there not a way to give zero stars? Went to this store b4 the birth of my first child. The sales person sold us 2 cribs (one for me one for my in laws and a dresser). They delivered the wrong crib to the house. We didnt realize until we spent a couple hours assembling. Got an "oopsi daisy" from the store but not much else. Fast forward 2 years. The cribs I bought now needed toddler rails as is most often the case for 2 - 3 year olds. Surprise surprise BOTH CRIBS I HAD BOUGHT WERE DISCONTINUED! The rail was not available by anyone including the manufacturer. When I called the manufacturer they told us that the cribs had been discontinued years ago and were surprised that i had purchased them in the time frame i did! So we basically spent $3000 on driftwood! Called the store and got a tough luck from the manager. Unreal. Now we had to go out and buy new toddler bed. Why wouldnt you carry the parts needed by the owners who you know will need them? Why wouldnt you sell us the toddler rail at the time of the crib purchase??? WHy do you sell discontinued merchandise? Complete waste of money. Figured for the high prices (10 - 30% higher than can be found online) we would get some service but that up and vanished like a fart in the wind once they have your money. Unless you like high prices, an incompetent staff, and purchasing products more than once, look ELSEWHERE for anything you need. Complete and utter rip - off. Caveat Emptor!!! read more

We searched around at many many stores before finally settling at a store for baby furniture. I expected a warehouse feel when arriving here but was pleasantly surprised with the more homey feel here. My biggest battle in my search was finding quality furniture for my money. Furniture at other places was way overpriced for the cheap product you get. And the ridiculously expensive furniture was not worth that much. This place has quality furniture for a decent price. It's not cheap by any means, so don't expect any bargain shopping, but I felt like I was not getting ripped off here. I am SO happy with our furniture. They also have a good selection of bedding and nursery decorations. More decorations than any other store I've been to, which makes it easy to want to fill up your credit card here! They even have a decent selection of baby clothes and other random baby things. All of their products seemed unique and this would be the place to go to decorate your nursery to make it look like your own. The staff actually knew what they were talking about as far as furniture and products, versus a high school kid just working at a store. I felt confident getting information and advice from them. I'm excited to come back and get more decorations for the nursery. read more

Last week I placed an order for crib bedding and the clerk told me it would be 6 weeks, which wasn't a problem. I got a call yesterday that it had arrived! Wonderful news since the baby shower is this weekend! The ladies and gentleman working there were super nice and so helpful. I bought my daughter's crib and dresser here 3 years ago and recently purchased the same crib for my son, who is due soon. Unfortunately I noticed the other night her dresser had a huge crack up the side of it. We paid a lot of money and hoped to have the furniture last. I called and spoke with someone who informed me the manager was off and would call me back the next day. He did call me back and left me a message stating that he had ordered me a new dresser which would be here within a few weeks! Great customer service! read more
