We saw Dr. Tara for one visit due to availability issues, and she addressed the issue explaining that my daughter's jaw could be affected long term and there were other issues that might arise from continuing this habit, and also gave us information about options for helping her stop. Dr. Tara was informative, answered all of our questions, and was very direct about her concerns, which is what we were looking for. With Dr. Tara's guidance we were able to help her stop thumb sucking completely and her jaw structure was able to realign itself. Once Dr. Tara left the practice we stopped going there. My overall impression is that the office staff is very helpful, and accommodating. I would not recommend Dr. Gruber due to him not being up front about the risks we were facing and making light of something that was more in our control than he would have us believe.
