It was middle of week and a group of friends and I had a movie we were headed to, but wanted to eat first. We decided to come here, and walked in to what felt like a very cool little shop in a town somewhere in Italy! Wine decorates the walls, and you can smell all the fresh dough and breads that's bein made. We grabbed a table and perused the menu. One of my friends and I decided that we would get two sandwiches and split, so that we could try more than one item. We went with the the Crudo (prosciutto sandwich), Nonna (mortadella sandwich), and the Pollo Milanese (chicken cutlet). They were both delicious, but I think the Nonna was my fave bc the cutlet was crispy and seaonsed well, and even when I ate my leftovers the next day, it was super good. The dough was fresh and delicious, light, and airy, and I just couldn't stop eating it. Some of our other friends ordered a pizza and the arancetti, and both of those were good as well. The pizza, whatever they're doing with their dough just works! IT was super tasty, quite big servings, and easy to share with 2-3 people. As we were wrapping oup our meal, since it is World Cup, they pulled out a huge tv to turn on, so that was fun to watch the game, eat, and feel like we were having an italian style meal. I'll just start off with a quick recommendation from the first visit (because didn't do review that time): the Snapper - immediately yes, if you are not opposed to bony fish and working for your meal in that way lol. As busy as it appears with the ratings online- I would definitely say it's inflated due to the chef (taste of food) and NOT the service. To have spent $400 for my meal with my spouse- we received a $50 meal with $0 service. Chic-Fil-A has better customer service. GM Kevin, should review the footage of the private party event that happened yesterday for the table of 17 & definitely reprimand, retrain, and reconsider some of this staff.
