We used Baby's away in Kansas City. Rochelle was amazing. She met us at the airport as planned and returned to retrieve two car seats from us at the end of our trip. She gets five stars for on time delivery and pick up. No worries. The two car seats were delivered as promised clean and in Perfect condition. I was in dire need of a crib for my visiting grandson due to COVID exposure at the home he was scheduled to stay. All seemed great when I found the service, selected my rental. Then a call to confirm and tell me the delivery fee was the same amount as the rental. Oh well, I said, I have to have it. 2 hours before scheduled delivery the local rep called to say she was sick, and sorry she could not deliver. I continually asked if she did not have any one person in her life that could make the delivery... "no, sorry, check out Facebook marketplace". Ridiculous way to run a business! They were absolutely wonderful to rent from for our stay in Charleston. We rented a crib, wagon, and booster/high chair for our 16 month old. Everything was very clean and was set up when we arrived at the house! They even included a white noise machine at no cost. Our little one slept so well!! We rented a full- sized crib for 6 days and spoke with Paula. I called the evening before my flight was and was pleased with polite and courteous she was. She took my information over the phone and the transaction was smooth. The crib was set up before I arrived with a mattress and sheet. She had contacted the homeowner immediately after I spoke with her and everything was squared away. I left a voicemail/called her and texted the morning that we left to have the crib picked up. Terrible in Pensacola, Fl! Drove all the way from Oklahoma without a pack n play or any form of sleeping arrangement for my 2 year old, because I reserved a crib from Baby's Away. It was supposed to be delivered at 4pm when we showed up at our rental home. By 530pm, I still hadn't received an email, phone call, or text from them. Had been waiting around for an hour and a half for this crib to show up. I called Babys Away from the number on the reservation email and the lady told me she was waiting to confirm that the crib was broken and shes sorry she didn't call sooner she's at home with her kids sick. Well I've been expecting this crib TONIGHT and now I have nothing for my 2 year old to sleep in! Will never use this company again. Terrible service, Terrible communication, and broken equipment apparently! Use a different company!! Save yourself the headache! read more

If you book with them watch out! They might charge you extra and claim you destroyed their products (when you did not) like they did to us. They delivered a flimsy crib sheet with stains... we bought a new much better quality sheet and gave it for them, then they charge us an additional $50 without even notifying us! This company is fantastic and really made life easy while we were vacationing in Charleston! We traveled from Chicago to Charleston, SC and we didn't want to fly with a stroller, and extra baby stuff. So we ordered from Baby's Away and worked directly with the owner Paula. She was very professional and super nice. Paula took care of everything and our crib, stroller, and a box of toys were waiting in our hotel room when we arrived. It was awesome! We never used this type of service before, so it was cool to see it come through for us. Then on the 2nd to last day of our trip, the stroller got a flat tire. I let Paula know, and she super quickly replaced it with a new stroller. That was freaking awesome! She texted me when she'd arrive, replaced it out with a new one, and we got back to enjoying our vacation. It was seamless, painless, and just awesome customer service. Paula took care of the issue quickly and nicely. And provided me updates along the way. That's how you do business. It was great. What a great business! Last week, I traveled with my extended family to Sullivan's Island. There were two babies and 4 kids in our group, and Baby's Away was a lifesaver. From saving us the hassle of bringing our own Pack 'n Plays-- to having the same model of toddler potty that my 3-year-old insists on using-- Paula made our stay much easier. Plus, they drop it off to your rental house before you even get there, and all the equipment was in PRISTINE condition. This was well worth the reasonable prices. read more

We rented a crib for a week (Sat to Sat) in October for vacation in IoP. In September, I spoke with Paula on the phone to reserve our crib and give her our property details. Unlike other companies I have used, she tries to get in touch with the owner or manager at the rental property and set up the crib in your desired bedroom (others we have used in Florida leave the crib folded up outside, with the linens in a bag) which is especially nice since most SC properties are elevated! On the Wednesday prior to our arrival, the decision was made to evacuate Charleston and surrounding areas before Hurricane Matthew's arrival. My first knowledge of this was an email from Paula asking how we wanted to handle our reservation! She stuck with us, when our trip was cancelled, and then back on, and we came the day the island reopened (and therefore when she was just getting back to her own home and business). We arrived to find our crib set up in the requested bedroom, with clean sheets and bumpers, ready for our little one to sleep! Great experience, start to finish, with a hurricane in the middle! read more
