A very nice place. I think a good descriptive for this place is, they have a little bit of everything. The ladies working there during our visit were helpful and kind. If you enjoy higher end quality, then this is a good place to visit. And if you're like us who enjoy clearance items, it's also a nice place. Some times, it is worth the little extra money. This would include items such as Noodle & Boo baby care and silicone bibs. We love the bib we have. Captures all and you can easily wrap it up for the go. We've used shampoo et.al, from Target, but our son's hair comes away stiff rather than silky smooth. The bandana bib is one item we have that I would not have thought paying a little extra for quality would matter. The material is flexible and it has a lip of material gives more coverage for the neck. Never thought these qualities would matter. But other bandana brands proved to be a hassle. read more

Firstly I have been nothing but impressed by everyone working at Baby Bloomers. I think I stopped by 4 or 5 times in the process of picking out my stroller. Each time they offered support and were very informative when I wanted help and information, but also when I just wanted to try out features and explore of my own I found them to be very respectful of my space! The owners go above and beyond in my option, one time when I was shopping there while pregnant I got super lightheaded and they helped me to a chair and got me water and even a snack. Sure you can get other products cheaper at other places, but they sell quality stuff and give amazing service throughout the whole process! I can not recommend them enough! If you are pregnant, or shopping for someone who is, I highly suggest stopping by! read more

The owner is overbearing and pushy and questioned us about everything we've bought for our baby so far and told us how most things were probably not "up to standards" (since they weren't from his store). He also pried in to what we do for a living... why does it matter? We were shopping for a chair for our nursery. Not a pleasant experience. Baby Bloomers is a very cute baby boutique With a great selection! We bought all of our furniture, rocking chair, bedding, and art through them and were very impressed. One of the pluses of going with a small business is the personal attention that comes with it. Pooh is wonderful, and helped me to pick out the perfect fabric and style chair for our nursery. After a recall by the furniture company on our dresser and crib, Wynn (the owner) personally dropped off and set up a loaner set for us to use in the interim. He also DROVE TO GEORGIA to pick up the replacement for us, again dropping it off at the house. For me, this is the true advantage of supporting small, independent businesses. While shopping in baby bloomers last week with my pregnant girlfriend she was asking me some personal mommy questions in which the owner and employee overheard. First off it was a private conversation and secondly we were not asking anyone's advice, she was simply asking how I use the device. The owner went on this LONG tangent about the merchandise and scolded me like I was a CHILD. I am a mother of two and how I decide to parent my children is no one's business. I have never felt so violated and judged as a mother. Since moving to Charleston we have shopped locally at this boutique dozens of times. I send all my mommy friends here and buy lots of baby gifts. NEVER AGAIN. How dare an owner of a store make a paying mother feel this way. It was horrible behavior. I will not be back. It's worth noting that Amazon has 98% of the merchandise (especially gifts) cheaper with free shipping and no judgment. read more

Worst customer service I've received in my entire life! The owner is RUDE and threw a little hissy fit when I called them out on repeatedly giving me the wrong information. Our first time there our 5 year old set his eyes on a set of bunk beds. We were told they were "going on sale soon" and to leave our info and would be contacted. After months went by we stopped back and asked about the sale and were told it will be soon. I was also informed about an amazing sale they were having in September statewide. Our third trip there we looked at strollers and decided on a bob, they took my number and were supposed to call when they arrived. I never heard about the bob, and ordered it from amazon as it was cheaper anyway. We were then told this imaginary sale wasn't going to happen and the "big" September sale wasn't either. (By the male owner) a couple days later they had tax free weekend so I decided this was the best time to order the bed. When I went there the male owner them told me they just got the flyer for the sale, he said he would have to wait to place my order if I wanted the 10% off sale or I could just order today and save 8.5%. I decided to use the 8.5% since we had already been waiting months to order. I was told 7-10 days we would have our bed. After that time passed I called to check and they said it shipped and would be here by Wednesday. Well Friday came and still nothing so my husband called and the lady then tells him it can take 8-10 weeks!! So he and I went to the store to get a solid answer. Well there was a 20% off sign for that furniture on the door! I spoke to the owner and she right away got defensive about the shipping, I kept my cool and said I understand. Then I mentioned the price/discount discrepancy. She immediately got so angry with me! I told her we have received different stories on sales, price and shipping and I felt a little deceived. She flipped out grabbed a calculator and figured out the price I should have paid and practically threw the money at me! There were other customers in the store but she didn't seem to care. I have never in my life seen the owner of a business act this way! I was appalled! Our furniture arrived the following week. I had planned on purchasing a bob stroller, uppa baby stroller, britax car seat, $1300 nursery glider and the remaining pieces to the bed we ordered (probably around $2000 more in furniture from them, but instead I'm ordering from amazon and wayfair. I'm all about shopping local, but never again after being treated this way! read more

This store has a really cute selection of baby stuff which is why I gave any stars however for the expensive price tag of everything the customer service was awful! I needed help purchasing a carseat which you would expect them to want to help with because of the price and they weren't able to explain the differences and then left me to figure them out on my own while I had my baby with me! Even after I went up to the desk to ask multiple questions, they did not assist me! I was very unimpressed and will not be back. read more

This is a very cute store with great products. However, they are either understaffed, unhelpful, or both. I went in just to look around with possibilities to purchase a crib, stroller, and car seat. I was in the store for almost an hour and was not spoken to from an associate at all. They were busy, but even an "I'll be right with you would have been nice." I walked out empty handed. read more

My Husband and I ran into this store with our 6 month old looking for a car seat recently and the staff was extremely rude and not helpful at all. I asked about the car seats, what the employee thought about them, and what she recommended. She told me I could read about them online and that she recommended one over the other because it was more popular all in a very condescending tone. She did not sale the item at all to me and must have not wanted my business. The seats were also unreachable and she did not offer to pull them down or show us anything about them. I was surprised to see negative reviews. We had a very positive experience. We purchased a beautiful crib , a glider, dresser, and bedding which we got a discount on since it was floor stock from the store. We splurged a bit since it was for our first born. Everything was so beautiful and came together nicely. A sweet southern lady who goes by Pooh helped us pick out our colors and styles. Pooh, you are amazing and made our experience fun, entertaining, and worthwhile! They warned us to order everything well in advance, which we did. Everything came in on time. We were having issues moving into our new home, which can be stressful with a new baby. To take it a step further, Baby Bloomers let us store our furniture there for a few months. Thanks Baby Bloomers! You rock! Oh, and with the prices complaints, this is a baby boutique . Not babies r us. You are paying for hand picked unique items.
