Hmmm, overall the experience was fine but not great. What I did like was that you could bring 5 people to your appointment, some places only let you bring one or two. I did like the ultrasound technician, she was super friendly and really tried to get the baby to be cooperative since she had her hands in front of her face. There were a lot of negatives to this experience unrelated to the actual ultrasound itself. You also had to wear a mask for the entire experience, which is whatever, but even our doctor's office for ultrasounds doesn't do that. 1) When I made the appointment, the front desk lady didn't ask me about my placenta position or informed me that because I was 31 weeks, the pictures might not come out good. She let me know right when I checked in, but at that point, what are you gonna do? lol. You're already at the appointment and would have to pay the cancellation fee. 2) The restroom is only for patients and employees. That seems so stingy, why can't our guests also use it? 3) It took forever to get our pics after our appointment. I probably won't be back if I have another kid and probably wouldn't refer this place to anyone. read more

The place I went to my last pregnancy closed down due to the pandemic, but I found this one on Yelp and close to home. Looks a little sketch, but overall my experience was great! This place is taking extra measures to ensure that mamas, babies and family members are safe during these tough times. They allow minimal family members in to reduce germs, have you sanitize often and make people make appointments so you aren't sitting in a crowded waiting room. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. My first visit the baby was uncooperative and kept hiding her face, they allowed me to come back for a second visit to see if baby was more cooperative. Really exceeded their expectations! read more

I went in at 16 weeks and it was AMAZING! the tech was so great and even with a stubborn baby did everything for him to move, determined the gender and got soo many great shots. Not only that the receptionist was aazing, started me with a small packet just in case baby wasnt up for it wich was smart and let me upgrade after. Don't let the 5 star reviews fool you, they are simply there because this place gives discounts to those that write them while in the waiting area. This place is sketchy to say the least. To begin with, the receptionist is beyond rude. My wife made an appointment a few weeks in advance. She received a text message a few days prior to our visit asking to either call the phone number provided or reply to the text message to confirm our appointment. My wife wanted to ensure the confirmation was noted so she opted to call. She spoke to someone and was able to do so. When we arrived at the location my wife was informed that our appointment had been canceled as we did not reply to the text message. I was already sitting down in the waiting area and heard the receptionist start to raise her voice and give my wife a little attitude, so I walked over to the front desk and asked her to explain what was going on. Her tone immediately changed. I told her that there had been a breakdown in the communications on their end as we definitely had confirmed the appointment. I even showed her the call logs and the verbiage in the text message that specifically says to please call or text back. It's one or the other.... not both. I continued to tell the broad that they should honor our appointment since it was their mistake. She made excuse after excuse about how she couldn't push everyone's schedule back "just to accommodate us." Normally in this situation I would have just walked away and passed on giving someone my hard earned money who didn't deserve it but it so happened that it was my wife's birthday on this specific day and finding out the gender of our baby was something she was really looking forward to and I didn't want to ruin it. Honestly she's lucky I was in a great mood that day or she would have definitely heard my two cents on the spot instead of having to read this review... The broad finally accepted to give us a small 15 minute window instead of the 45 minute one we had scheduled, although I felt scammed we still paid for the expensive package we originally wanted. All of this frustration could have been avoided but I'm not surprised since she seemed to lack any manners to begin with. I have a hunch that this place is simply a small piece of the puzzle to a much bigger organization that is in charge of scheduling and their finances. The receptionist is simply just that, a paper pusher.... So don't expect any above average service if you do decide to come here after reading all the honest negative reviews. The "theater room" is pretty lousy, just some chairs and a white screen and projector nothing special. The waiting room gave me some bad vibes, dirty floors, stained walls, trash and masks on the floor. I'm honestly happy we were in and out.. I will however say that the ultrasound tech was extremely nice and very friendly. I wouldn't be surprised if she disliked the receptionist because they are complete opposites. Visited Baby's First Ultrasound while I was 16 weeks and 27 weeks along. Cynthia was amazing at taking pictures of baby. She knew all the tricks to get baby in the right position for all the pictures. I have an anterior placenta and she recommended I come in earlier than 32 weeks before baby was too big and I think we came in at just the right time! Definitely recommend booking on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings to get a session with her. Claudia the receptionist was also very nice and explained every package in detail to us we ended up doing the teddy bear & picture package for both visits. Booked a gender reveal appointment for my daughter and unfortunately she was too early in her pregnancy for them to determine gender which I was somewhat expecting. Not only did they CLEARLY STATE BEFORE the visit that it might be hard for them to determine gender or not at all. We agreed to go forward with the visit and the whole time our technician kept laughing and giggling about not being able to see a clear picture because the baby was so small (very uncomfortable & unprofessional) I had to walk out before I said something to make an uncomfortable situation even more uncomfortable for my daughter, being a first-time mom! I was hesitant about keeping my appointment with this place because I read all the bad reviews, but I'm so glad I didn't listen to them because I had a great experience. I went in when I was 14 weeks and 3 days, and I was worried that it was too early for them to really tell me the gender like they claim. But I figured it was worth a shot because Kaiser isn't allowing partners to attend ultrasound appointments because of COVID, and I really wanted my hubby there--we were super eager to satisfy our curiosity about the sex of the baby. Anyway, the front desk employee was very friendly. The woman who actually did our ultra sound was also very warm and friendly. When she saw the parts she needed to see to identify the sex, she first asked us if we wanted to know, and then announced very confidently what our baby was. Now I'm 19 weeks and I've gotten NIPT test results from Kaiser confirming that my baby's sex is what they said it was (haven't announced it to everyone yet so I'm keeping it secret here too ). We've had two appointments here. One at 16 weeks & one today, at 28 weeks. The first appointment was OK but today's appointment exceeded our expectations. Our tech was Rosie. She was so patient, kind and really took the time to get our images. She even went as far as to move me into positions that would best capture our babies features. I wish we had time to do one more with her!!! I did not catch the gals name at the front desk but she is equally as wonderful. This is my second time coming here and after my first experience I was excited to return. However, this time around the receptionist lady was extremely rude. She had called and sent a text informing me to come 15 minutes before my appt but when I arrived she was upset because "the door should have been locked". She was then extremely rude up until the lady doing the sonogram came over and took us back. ZERO STARS! This is supposed to be a memorable, exciting moment for expecting families. Do not come here and waste your money. As many reviews have already stated, the front desk receptionist is trash! Completely rude and unknowledge about anything going on. I set up our initial appointment and Payed for the most expensive platinum package. This is our first baby and we wanted it to be memorable! it sure was, for all the wrong reasons! The tech made excuse after excuse why she couldn't get good images of my baby (hands in the way, sleeping, what i ate etc.) A bunch of excuses, blaming me and my baby when in reality, the tech just didn't know what they were doing. She didn't know how to fix the contrast and primarily kept it on black and white. I was very unsatisfied and they told me I can come back and rescan for and additional $30! I just paid ~$200! The front desk said to come back for a rescan with their "senior tech because she actually knows what she's doing and has been doing it longer." Nevertheless, we agreed to come back for a rescan. We had to fight to get the fee waved. Which i appreciate. However, I don't feel it's right to even charge customers rescan fees when it's not their fault. We came back for our rescan and the experience was 10000 times worse if you can image. I heard the same excuses about my baby's hand being in the way, sleeping etc. Funny thing is my baby was wide awake, moving the whole time and his hands were no where near his face. Again, their "senior tech" didn't know how to adjust the contrast in 4D/5D. Only blobs the whole time. I decided to end the session early because I was getting so frustrated that this was happening all over again. Sonia at the front desk started being very disrespectful. She told me "It was all the caffeine i drink and maybe if i was less dehydrated and drank more water it would've been better" I have not drunk any caffeine during my whole pregnancy and all i drink is water. I felt very offended and attacked that she would accuse me like it was my fault, once again. I decided to wait for all the items i purchased because i wanted to show the owners or corporate the kind of quality they're providing to customers. Sonia refused to give me my items and told me "to call the main office". This company stole from me! Not only my money but they stole a special moment that we can never get back. It's false advertising! They do not use the Top-of-the-Line, State-of-the-Art GE Voluson 730 Expert System for the best picture quality. I feel this place is a scam because while waiting in the lobby, I can hear the tech telling each person the same things. "Baby's asleep, baby needs to move arm, cough, keep coughing" Etc. ATT: SAM G, the manager, I hope you mean it when you say " Please let us know if you have a less than satisfactory experience so we can make every effort to make it right." My partner and I went to Baby's First Ultrasound (BFU) in Santa Clara on December 30 and it was a fantastic experience. We came from the city and it's about a 45 minute drive. When we arrived to the business center (San Tomas Commerce Park) where the location is, there is adequate parking available. Now, I must say, Baby's First Ultrasound website leaves a lot to be desired, especially aesthetically, when compared to the competition, but, what really caught my attention was the "over 25,000 happy customers" and their hours of operations. BFU is open seven (7) days a week and offers same day appointments, if, the schedule permits. Once we arrived, we read the COVID signage posted on the outside of the door and entered. Upon entering the facility, I immediately noticed how small and quaint it was. There's a mid-sized waiting room, a small reception desk, a gender neutral restroom, and one (1) mid-sized ultrasound room. After checking in, I picked the "Platinum Package," which is one of six. I chose this package because of the price and what comes with it. I received 71 4D pictures of the appointment, two (2) keychains with two different pictures (that I chose) on the front and back, a pink photo album with about 20 pictures and three (3) 8x10 photos from the 40-minute appointment. I also paid, $19 extra, for a small stuffed animal (we chose a dog) that would play my baby's heartbeat when touched. Overall, I got all of this for under $200, which, isn't a bad deal comparatively. The sonography (ultrasound technician) was friendly and did an excellent job making us comfortable and doing all that she could, to help us get the best images possible. The only caveat that I would tell all future parents and customers to be aware of, is that the quality of the photos depends on the baby. If the baby is feeling photogenic, you'll get great picture. If not, you won't. Overall, I would highly recommend this place and had good experience! read more

I'm very sad and disappointed. We went to our appointment last week. I was 18 weeks and we wanted to know the gender and also it was my husband first ultrasound due to COVID. The receptionist was super nice and professional that's the only reason I'm not giving them one star. The told us it was a girl! Which we were super excited because the same day we had a gender reveal at home. The next day after we announced it, my family gave us many clothes for the baby girl. Today not even a week after, I had my 20 week appointment. They told me IT IS A BOY! I don't know what to believe. Being hormonal doesn't help with this situation. I feel robbed! We had a great experience getting our baby's first 4D ultrasound. I am was 36 weeks pregnant at the time of my appointment and was explained that because I was that far along they might not be able to get a clear image of our baby boy. They recommend to start with the basic package and if our baby was cooperating then proceed to upgrade, which we ended up doing. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable.
