I honestly don't know why the staff have so many bad reviews. I've been with Dr. Bachoura's for over 3 years now and everyone including the staff/front desk have been nice, accommodating and very friendly. To the point where they know its me, when I'm calling in for my bf. Although, it's Dr. Bachoura's firm, I usually see the PA Heidi White and always request her. I've seen Dr. Bachoura as well, but I prefer Heidi, since I have a relationship with her already. There's another PA in the office now, Kim who is just as bubbly, understanding and personable as Heidi. The doctors here take the time to hear all your concerns, weigh in on theirs and treat you like family. I'm so glad I finally found a family doctor that I can trust. read more

They sent my lab work out of network and when I try to talk to their billing department to discuss the bill they just reiterate the bill to me. No flexibility, it's not hard to send lab work to the correct lab for your patients insurance. When I got blood work done here, the lady working caught that they messed up the lab based on my insurance and had them redo forms. Won't ever see this doctor again (not that I've ever actually seen her before, only the PAs). This place has gone downhill since Heidi left and the office just does not care about you only about the money they can get. Also tried to talk to the dr about billing and she essentially said if you don't like it you can find another doctor. Okay, I'll take your advice and never come back. Good riddance. read more

What's the point if they won't see patients in person? I think I have a sinus infection and need to see a dr to confirm. I got a covid test 2 days ago, just to be safe, and am fully vaccinated. They said the would only see my over video. How are they going to diagnose a sinus infection over video?? They'll just prescribe me medication without a real check up? So ridiculous! Even my kids pediatrician will see sick kids in person. They need to get it together or close. You can't be a dr when you won't see sick patients. read more

Dr. Bauchora is a great doctor but her staff is horrible. The staff always acts like they are doing you a favor, instead of being helpful they are rude. I have had a speciality pharmacy have to call over and over to get one refill, their service leaves a lot to be desired. Its just too bad a good doctor and P.A. I am going to keep this review very brief, as I am in the process of submitting a formal complaint against the doctor and her office staff. The employees of Dr. Bachoura's office are extremely unprofessional, rude, short and unhelpful. They do not know how to treat patients, and show the utmost dismissive behavior I have ever seen in a medical professional setting. Individuals of this caliber are absolutely appalling, when dealing with people who are coming to their office for help. For anyone considering this doctor: please look elsewhere. I have had nothing but problems with this doctor and her staff. I will not be returning and I am in the process of changing providers with my insurance. Their office manager/account specialist, Rhonda, is hands down the worst type of person I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. She is a rude, unprofessional, disrespectful and arrogant woman - who does not even begin to know the meaning of customer service. Rhonda, on top of her horrific mannerisms, almost filed fraudulent and false charges with my insurance, which in turn equaled billing me for the difference. I had to open a claim with my insurance and the health group in order for them to remove the false charges and prevent them from sending me into collections (for charges I was not responsible for, even after paying my copay). This was the most unsettling part of my experience with this office. Today I called to followup with this issue, and the receptionist named Lana answered the phone. She confirmed that the charges were removed. At this point I asked her some questions regarding some issues I have been having and if they did those tests. Instead of offering clarification or 'checking for me' she blatantly stated that it was my responsibility to 'know' what is covered and what isn't. Unfortunately, that wasn't even my question...I wanted to know if a certain blood test was offered. Ultimately, the behavior displayed by staff today has led me to seek further action against this medical facility and everyone involved in the incident. Please do not select this doctor as your primary care physician if you are able to go elsewhere. Dr. Bachoura, while very kind and mild-mannered, misdiagnosed a hearing issue I had back in July and I have now lost 80% of the hearing in my left ear. She was my doctor some years ago when I lived in California. She was everything you'd want in a doctor. Knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. Never made me feel like she didn't have time for me. Once, I was leaving for vacation and could not get an appointment before I left. Even though she was not seeing patients for a couple of days she agreed to see me so my issue could be resolved before I left town. She is a fabulous doctor as well as a good person. LOVE Dr. Bachoura and Heidi White. HATE the staff. They are all BEYOND rude and when they talk to you, they are so condescending. Obviously if I knew the answer, I wouldn't be calling you. & if you fire back with the same attitude they give you, you somehow get "accidentally" disconnected. First off, See Tamara S' review. Secondly, I came in twice myself. The first time was for a general checkup and to ask some general questions about my health. I was met by not doctor bachoura, but by one of her staff who did a very quick round of vitals and then proceeded to give me dismissive answers to my concerns (I brought up my migrains which I've had my entire life, my right foot pain which occurs off and on ever since it was stepped on during a martial arts match, and a couple others). Basically she said that none of these things were worth looking into and to just take pain killer. The second time I came in with a raging case of strep throat. Dr. Bachoura was with me for I think a whopping 3 minutes just to look down my throat and prescribe me some antibiotics before leaving the room. Didn't ask how long I'd had it (2 weeks by this point) or anything else, just "take this to a pharmacy" and out the door. Long story short, this facility is not interested in your health and only about how many people they can get in/out the door in a given business day. read more

I do see the PA a lot but am fine with that, she is knowledgeable and helpful. The PA is sweet but has never spent more than 10 minutes with me and has only recommended uncovered by insurance medication. The office staff I have to say is my main reason for writing this review. PA is very knowledgeable and caring, Dr. is great, however the staff is terrible, they need a very good office manager, they roll the phone EARLY for lunch and at the end of the day, went Monday, they did not call in prescriptions, had to take 3 trips to pharmacy, still don't have all of my prescriptions. I came back a week later to get some labwork done. A good plus is that the medical facility my docotr is in has it's own lab. So if you need to get labwork done, then you just come to the same place and don't have to worry about finding it in some obscure office building. I think I waited about 30 minutes. It's a first come first served kind of place. There were already other people there waiting when I arrived. The lab opens at 8:00 a.m., but I got there around 9:00 a.m. There is only one guy who does the draws, but he's really good. It was painless and I didn't even get a bruise where he poked me. :) read more

I had to go in for blood work this morning, but before I go anywhere, I read the reviews on Yelp or just Google any information I can find. First of all, I read the reviews here and was slightly disappointed. I saw Dr Norma Bachoura earlier this week and had a very comfortable and helpful visit. I came in for one thing but I had a list of other issues I wanted to get her input on. I usually make a list of questions I need to ask but can never remember once I am there. After we discussed the issue I was having to be seen for, I asked her about a few others. She had no problem talking about each question I asked and had some great advice for each. It was her that told me to ask her what ever I need to, she said that's what she is there for. She took her time and asked me questions that I had not thought of, which I was very grateful for. So, I went in for blood work this morning and was a little concerned after reading the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. Shannon took my blood samples and was very polite. He made me feel comfortable. I didn't feel a thing and we had a nice chat. The point I want to make is that you cannot take the word of a couple of people that "in their mind" had a bad experience. I would highly recommend Dr Norma Bachoura as well as the lab that is on-site and Shannon for sure. See for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Love ya Doc. read more

I have very good insurance and because of this doctor's "office protocols" I have changed primary care physician. I have paid out of pocket to visit the physician's assistant, my insurance called them to let them know I was covered, and they would still not see me. If you are new, do not choose Dr. Bachoura's office for your primary care physician. They care more about policy and money than they do about their patient's and their health and well being. read more

I give one star only cause Dr. Ana is nice. Let me list the problems with this place 1. The phlebotomist (male bro douche bag looking guy) is an ass. When I told him I was scared of needles he told me to lay down because I would faint. I said no cause I never had before. He turned into a total jerk after that so I walked out. Hope that guy has been fired. 2. To refill my birth control they said I needed a pap and would have to get one done at another location. Ok, whatever I got it done. The other doctor did the pap and refilled my bc for 3 months up front (dr Carlos in El Monte btw, good gyno ladies!) I played phone tag between the two offices speaking to the receptionists about faxing my results to dr. B's because for some reason doctors don't communicate with other doctors. Not only did I do that, but I personally went in to dr.bs office that day and signed a release of forms so they could get the results! I left being told they were faxing my release over to dr carlos right then. So last week (& 3 months later) I asked dr bs office to refill my bc. They said no this time they needed a physical! At this point I'm irritated but I'm not trying to get pregnant. So I call right now and they tell me not only do I need a pap, I could get one done at their office! At this point I'm pissed and ask about the one they made me get from dr Carlos and where were the results they should have had on file and they have no record of that at all! I PERSONALLY WENT IN AND FILLED OUT THE RELEASE FORMS!!! DONT EVER GO HERE! ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY read more

I have had to go to Dr Bachoura for the past five years. Had no big problems. Un till my wife was going to be late by 30 due to OC traffic. We called and told them we would be a bit late and they told us that they would have to charge us the late fee. Even if see still came in. BTW she called almost 30 min before her appt. time. That was BS. Then just now I have had Strep throat this week. On Monday Dr Heidi said I would be fin by Wednesday. No so, It's now Friday and I have had to take the week of work. I can only get a note that says up yesterday. So because she will not make the note for one more day I lose a weeks pay. Thank you Dr. HEIDI. You are a true..... Never mind. read more

Dr Norma Bachoura is one of the best Dr's in the area, and she has been my family's Dr for more than 20 years, and her staff are some of the friendliest I have ever dealt with and Heidi was so understanding and helpful and with the new addition of Dr. Chris Kassar, this puts this office above all the rest in the area. read more

Dr. Bachoura is WONDERFUL!!! She is knowledgeable, patient and kind. She has always made me feel like she is happy to listen to my concerns (unlike many other physicians).
