For a patient with multiple and ongoing health concerns, it is essential that my primary care…read morephysician, Dr. Krunal J. Mehta, responds promptly and carefully to prescription requests and medication orders submitted to my pharmacy, CVS. Dr. Mehta has consistently provided exceptional medical care and support--not only by ensuring that my medications are properly managed and by recommending procedures, treatments, and diagnostic tests as my health condition warrants, but also by taking the time to explain, in layman's terms, the nature of my medical conditions and the often difficult-to-understand results of blood tests and other diagnostic procedures. In addition, he has furnished the necessary clinical notes and documentation to durable medical equipment suppliers, enabling the timely processing and insurance authorization of medically necessary equipment. Equally deserving of recognition are Alyssa and Cheryl, whose dedication, professionalism, and compassion have been invaluable. They consistently go above and beyond in coordinating with pharmacies, medical equipment suppliers, insurance providers, and other healthcare entities to help ensure that my healthcare needs are addressed efficiently and without unnecessary delay. They also keep me informed regarding the status of my various requests, providing timely updates and diligent follow-through that greatly contribute to the continuity and effectiveness of my care. I am sincerely grateful for the outstanding support, responsiveness, and commitment demonstrated by Dr. Mehta, Alyssa, and Cheryl. Their combined efforts have made a significant difference in managing my health and navigating the often-complex healthcare system. Their dedication to patient care exemplifies the highest standards of professionalism, compassion, and service. Equally important, every interaction with Dr. Mehta and his staff reflects a genuine sense of warmth, kindness, and concern for my well-being. They consistently make me feel valued as a patient rather than just another appointment on the schedule. This caring and patient-centered approach provides reassurance and confidence that I am receiving not only excellent medical care but also the personal attention, respect, and support that every patient hopes to receive.

Unfortunately I have had a number of serious medical issues this past year. Not only has Dr Mehta…read morebeen terrific but the ability to get rapid aid from his office staff is amazing. I want to specifically mention Jessica Varela, she always goes the extra mile in taking care of what is asked from coordinating with Home Health to insurance authorizations. I may not have made it this far without them.

***Complete money scam.***…read more Lets start off with my experience working in a physicians office, cardiology specifically, where it's even costlier to seek medical advice. Never have I held a patient responsible for a change in our contracted medical plans when they have been a serviced client in the past under that same plan and the office failed to notify them or charged them a copay in honor of their believed accepted insurance. We always waived their visit expense. We did not deceitfully take the money of their "copay" and later bill them the full amount because we didn't accept their insurance anymore. That would be a disgusting and dishonorable practice to let someone believe they had coverage (by accepting a copay and/or not telling them we no longer accept their plan) and then giving them a call back and insisting they were responsible for the whole bill. I'm sure a majority of clients would seek medical advice elsewhere where they had insurance coverage. You're insurance information is visible on your patient profile and that is how they know how much to ask you for a copay. The staff should immediately advise you before you see the doctor of the change, or even after the visit when once again they see your insurance. I had this happen before at another doctor's office (gynocologist) in the past where they accepted my copay and later dismissed my bill because they no longer had a contract with my insurance and they mistakenly didn't tell me of this. They had an understanding that the staff should have notified me when I came in for my visit and not have charged me a copay if they didn't accept my insurance. That was a proper way of handling the situation and keeping their practice's name in good standing which to this day I have a respect for. Not here. I would not have visited this practice if I knew I had to pay for my visiting full when I could have just paid a copay amount (an almost $200 difference) at another doctor's office. I had lost my insurance just after my visit because I lost my job, I couldn't afford this bill and although they gave me a discount on my visit, this shouldn't have ever happened to begin with because I wouldn't have seeked medical advice here if I knew my insurance plan was no longer accepted. I wouldn't have been able to afford a full bill then, and definitely not now. I have never been so disappointed in a medical group. I went to this office since I moved to this city, they had wonderful doctors that helped me through a bad ailment for that went on for months. To have that same group turn on me in another time of hardship, that was a disappointing surprise. A practice should take responsibility for their mistake and not point the finger at their client. Educate your staff better, keep your patients notified and put them first.

I feel they have gone above and beyond in trying to help me with a tricky referral issue I have been having ongoing for several weeks now. I have had to change the referral several times due to some issues with the specialty office I chose but these ladies have done the utmost to help me receive the care I require. My only regret is that I forgot their names but I have dealt with at least two different ladies and they were both so helpful, respectful, and professional.

I have…read morerequested a prescription refill through the pharmacy since the doctors office refuses to do it on their end and they have not responded to the pharmacy's multiple requests. It's been three requests or more to no avail. I called the doctors office and they're closed before 5 PM which is supposed to be their closing time. This office is not reliable nor professional for reasons I will not get into here. I would advise anyone considering this office to reconsider. It's hard to get referrals as well because it seems like the doctor works with insurance company and does not want to help, especially if you have an HMO. I strongly suggest you consider other options for medical care if you want reliable and active care.
