At each visit, Dr. Hill was able to pinpoint and release/relieve my aches and pains (well, sometimes it hurts more at treatment) BUT, I always walked out of the clinic feeling more relaxed and in less pain. Along with chiropractic adjustment or manipulation, she has used various alternative and complementary medical treatments on me such as massage, cupping and acupuncture. I have total confidence in her knowledge and techniques. Checking in for your appointment is easy and fast. Each patient is assigned a patient account number which you enter into the digital tablet located at the reception counter. There, you can select the points of pain or discomfort as well as level of pain on the human diagram so that Dr. Hill will have a "map" to your symptoms to focus on. But, even if you've selected "No Symptoms", Dr. Hill will find something which you might have overlooked and you'll feel better when she works on you. Once your information has been entered, just take a seat in her spacious lobby and you'll be called in shortly. What I really like is that Dr. Hill has ALWAYS taken me ON TIME! I've never stressed about waiting for my appointment time. Just being in her newly renovated office and clinic gives one a sense of tranquility and being in touch with the natural beauty of Hawai'i. Her treatment rooms overlook the Kawainui Canal and Lanikai Beach. Sometimes you can see or watch canoe paddlers or wind sailers as you wait in the treatment room(s). Dr. Hill and her staff are friendly and professional. Leilani is Dr. Hill's office manager and she can assist you through any billing issues and/or insurance claims. She then went about treating/adjusting my body in a way that helped locate and relax muscle tension so that the adjustments were far more gentle and less sore than ever before. I did some research and found that a Webster chiropractic adjustment would really help with preparing me for labor and making sure my pelvis and ligaments etc were well positioned with no restrictions for labor. So I decided to give it a try. When I called Dr. Glenn when her office was nearly closing, I was so suprised that she was able to fit me in the morning if the next day. We got to my appointment, and I filled out new patient information and when I went into my appointment she did an analysis. Asking me questions about my pregnancy and checking my movement. She had tables that accommodated for pregnant women, which I appreciated. I didn't have to hop my body onto a flat table, but she had tables that we're upright and could be adjusted to your body shape and then would recline you in a laying position. She examined my spine and adjusted my tail bone. She felt my belly and uterus and ligaments and she said my body didn't have any complications. Dr. Glenn was very gentle and considerate of my body and it's sensitivities at 39 weeks pregnant. She has such a sweet and genuine character and I can tell she genuinely wants good relationships with her patients. I quickly made an appointment, and his assistant explained that he usually does xrays before adjustments and since I was a prior patient, he might be ok with doing an adjustment on my first visit. Side note: I have been regularly seeing different chiropractors over the years, but none of them ever got the adjustment quite like Dr. Norm does. Dr. Thurlow is professional and always seems to know what area is causing the pain.
