A women came over to "count" and make sure the cashier was ringing our airplane bottles and the person she put off to the side was to wait to return his Don Julio. So we get home i look at my receipt to send to the other moms and see a bottle of Don Julio charges to me...... i called she goes mam I'm sorry comeback and get your money back she "thought" she counted the bottles correctly. We go back and the women is also taking another transaction and staples my receipt to their bill.... And says yes we don't see a transaction for you little do they know i sent to my husband a screen shot and picture of our receipt so we have a copy.

It is not huge so in addition to the usual space hoards (Miller lite, Bud light, Claw) they have a few types of ciders, some rows where you'll find Bell's and other smaller brew stuff and recently surprised to see Maine Brewing Peeper offered. Staff is attentive and building is just in better aesthetic shape.

Havertownians sure must like their beer! This place is very typical. A big selection of domestics. A decent selection of Belgians and other imports. Specials on cases every week. One downside is that their cooler is a little small so the cold beer selection is limited compared to some places. Friendly people. Generally speaking a fine place to grab a case or two.

Their walk-in cooler has an amazing selection of great local 4-packs direct from the breweries. They also have a sliding door refrigerator with single cans, so you can pick up a cold one of something you may not want a 4-pack of. Additionally, the rest of the store has a great selection of craft beer, seltzers, and normal domestic/imported beer. Since they're a beer distributor, you don't need to worry about the 192 oz limit and can buy as much beer as you can afford (hallelujah!). Additionally, they have a rotating selection of beers available on tap for growler fills. Can't go wrong there! I highly recommend coming here for any of your craft beer needs -- just let them know it's your first time in and they'll walk you around the quaint (but packed with beer) space to give you the low-down. Don't mind if I do!…read more When I first heard that my beloved Beer Shoppe (https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-beer-shoppe-ardmore) was closing towards the end of 2020, it was another horrible thing to chalk up to that terrible, horrible, no good, very bad year! But unlike other things from that time period, this one didn't end up being as much of a big loss, because I learned that a new beer distributor would be opening up just few doors down, and when it did I learned that it maintained a lot of the same awesome staff and quite possibly an even better beer selection. As a distributor, it doesn't have amenities like the food and whiskey bar that the Beer Shoppe had. But it does give you the ability to grab beer to go by the case, twelve-pack, six-pack, four-pack, and even as singles. You can even fill your growler with their selection of drafts, or take home an alcoholic slushie. LMB isn't the biggest distributor I've been to by any stretch, but they make do with their space to bring in enough things to keep any level of beer nerd satisfied. You can take home a case of Corona or the lite stuff for your casual beer drinking uncle, load up on local brewers like New Trail and Twisted Gingers, imported brewers like Unibroue and all those Belgians, plenty of seasonal brews with it currently be the dark wintery season, and a lot of harder to find beers.
