This place is very cool! Pizza is good with a variety of menu selections and build your own. They have ice cream and cheese cake as well for dessert. The pizza is hot and made to order fresh out of the pizza oven. The inside atmosphere is awesome with plenty of TV's with sports and automotive decor. They also have spacious outdoor seating as well. The staff is nice and friendly as well. This will definitely be a place I frequent in the future.

I got the Meat pizza with gluten free crust...amazing flavors and it didn't taste like it was gluten free! It's definitely a thinner crust then their regular crust but amazing! My husband got the Hang 10 and said it was delicious! Fun decor throughout! Pizzas run about $10 each. Would definitely go back again!

Drove from Wichita to try this out. Definitely was not disappointed. Food is amazing and service was top notch. Had the taco pizza and chicken bacon ranch. Was so fresh, light, and tasty. Will definitely be back!

Visiting Newton and area for a couple of days. A local recommended Back Alley Pizza. Excellent recommendation! Ordered a BAM (aka Margherita) to go. Visited Newton Kansas for the national Junior college athletic Association men's national championship golf tournament. Was in the mood for pizza and read good reviews for back alley pizza so decided to give it a try and so glad we did! This is woodfired pizza 10 inch size and they have several options to choose from we had the meats, And the pepperoni along with an order of cheese bread. Service was fantastic and efficient and the pizza was no kidding some of the best I've eaten anywhere much less in the middle of nowhere in Kansas. Give back alley pizza a try you will not regret it. Hope we come back to this tournament next year, if so this will be my first stop! read more

Ate here a couple days ago with a friend. The service is great, the ambiance is awesome. He got a pizza that looked delicious I got a bbq sandwich which was amazing. It is one of my favorite sandwiches ever. This is one of the best places in Newton to eat at. If you are passing through Newton, you have to stop and eat here. read more

I am a picky New Yorker about pizza, Back Alley gets the pass!!!! The crust is outstanding and I enjoy the scale of the "pie" about the size of two NYC slices. I ordered a Graffiti pizza, it was very tasty and had the proper amount of toppings to cheese sauce ratio. I would have given it 5 stars if the red sauce was a little less sweet. Overall a great pizza and I want to add great service. I came with 5 people and everything came out timely. We even were approached by the woman who took our order to ask how everything was tasting. Nice touch Back Alley, I will return! read more

I love this place! It's pricy but delicious and fun! Makes a great date or a fun girl's nite too. Lots of families with kids come here after baseball games in season too so kids like it! Can't go really wrong here as they have salads, sandwiches, and pizza with good iced tea and a custom fountain drink machine. (I haven't ever tried their desserts. Could be tasty, just don't know lol) Sometimes the wait for pizza can be long when it's busy, so order ahead on the app if you want your food faster. Nice day in Newton, KS. Found this highly recommended pizzeria. Pizzas are 10" on the smaller side for a 9-10 $ pizza. Had a pepperoni pizza & a mushroom pizza. It toke them over 15 min to get two pizzas out a wood burning oven, cooking time should be between 60 & 90seconds so a long wait. I asked the waitress where my pizzas were, she then asked the pizzaiolo ( not very friendly) and he pointed to the back kitchen, waitress went in the back and brought out my two semi cold pizzas. Very very disappointing. The dough is good, the cheese is average quality, I believe that the amount of toppings on my mushroom pizza was very very poor. read more

So good!! Crust is wonderful. I tried the Hawaiian pizza and it was good but I just love the plain cheese pizza with extra sauce. Really really good because it's all about the crust and sauce for me. I wish they would come up with a balsamic barbecue though. read more

Best crust I have had from a pizza joint anywhere around wichita and surrounding area. Worth the drive to Newton! We tried the tomato basil and the graffiti and they were both delicious. We can't wait to go back and try more. read more

Hubby and I stopped by here on Christmas Eve for a little bite. I had the Full Moon which was creamy and cheesy. Dan had the Graffiti, which was the cheese pizza with cream sauce. Both were fantastic. The pizzas are cooked in a brick oven and the crust is fabulous. We had planned to take some home but wound up eating it all. Also, there is a self serve soda fountain, which we didn't try but seemed like a great idea. We will be back. read more

I'm not sure if this is Norm's coffee bar or back alley pizza. it could be both. I had the chicken sandwich it was actually pretty tasty. the service was pretty quick. for a small town restaurant it seems like it could actually do well in a larger city too. I would like to stop by and try their pizza I noticed that they were selling quite a few pies while I was there. read more

Pizza and service are great! Expect to pay about 9-10 bucks per pizza. I ordered 3 cheese pizzas for my 4 (8, 6, 6, 3) kids to share and it was plenty for them. My wife got the meats and I got the Buffalo chicken. All were amazing! We will definitely be coming back read more

The backroom where I ate had a "post war" music thing going with heavy Billie Holiday vibes; Jazzy, blues, relaxing music. Definitely felt more intimate and would be where you'd want to sit for a date. I went during the lunch hour and it was pretty empty, few people, but for a Thursday that's to be expected. Ordered the 10oz sirloin medium rare with the loaded baked potato. Order to table delivery was roughly 20 minutes, and the server was very polite. Approximate cost was ~$29. If you're wanting to do something nice for a loved one or take someone on a "fancy" date, this would be a place I'd recommend for the local area.

Though Back Alley is still pretty new, they are definitely worth all of the hype that they receive. They serve amazing food at a very high speed, but they also make sure to remind the customer of the small town friendliness that Newton has. The prices aren't outrageous, but this isn't somewhere that you want to go if you're wanting a lot of food for less money. read more

The pizza has the perfect crust with a bit of crunch from the wood fire oven. I've only had excellent pizza at Back Alley. The salad options are great too. I've enjoyed plenty of lunch hours at Back Alley with the side salad, soft drink (sweet Coke machine with tons of options like vanilla, orange, lemon, etc) and free wifi. read more

This is for sure the best pizza in the state of Kansas! The crust is perfect - a combination of chewy and crispy! My favorite is the barbecue Pizza! I had family visiting from out of state, along w some other family who hasn't been into BA yet. One of my nephew who's a very picky eater actually ate 2 pizzas himself. Back Alley is my absolute favorite restaurant in town. The food is excellent and the staff is always so friendly. I love taking my whole family here and have never had a bad experience. The rewards program is also very nice and a good way to save some money. read more

Holy cow this is the pizza place to go to. $8 bucks for a 10 inch pizza that is loaded with toppings. Made fresh and you only have to wait a few minute for a true brick oven pizza. Feed the family for $40. read more
