Tom came out to talk water and boy, does Tom know water! As we started to talk about the house, where our water comes from and what we were primarily interested in Tom was doing tests of our water. He was very efficient in the testing and explaining the results. Our new home in Castle Pines was built with an instant hot water unit, which was all new for us. And from some other companies we talked to at the garden and home show told us that you definitely need to put a soft water unit in for the tankless (primarily for the warranty). As it turns out, Tom gave us a measurement of 3 for hardness which is very good and he told us we do NOT need to install a soft water unit. BONUS! We also talked about other minerals and pH in our water. And it was nice to hear we have really good water here. He did leave a flyer and a quote for a RO (reverse osmosis) drinking water system if we ever decide we would like to go that route other than just getting drinking water from the refrigerator. I would highly recommend anyone who is curious about their water quality to contact them and talk through what you might need or what you want.

I like to learn and understand how all the appliances in my house work and Tom couldn't have been happier to spend the time educating me, both before we agreed to hire him and then while he was personally installing the system. We discussed our needs and family size, and it was refreshing when he recommended the lower cost solution for us instead of trying to upsell us something we didn't need. He'll be very honest about what will make you the happiest with your water. The system works great and made a noticeable difference with the hardness of our water. He came over that afternoon and helped make a temporary 'catchment' to catch and direct the leakage to a floor drain. That was Friday On Saturday, he called to tell us that he had found a replacement cistern, 'though it was larger than the existing one. We agreed to use it. Monday, Fred and his crew arrived to remove the existing cistern and replace with the new one. the estimate was that that would be done by Monday evening and they would return Tuesday to do the plumbing interface, Getting the old tank out and the new in was an exercise in adaptive geometry! They succeeded, and by Monday evening had completely restored the system to use! I can recommend WW+ without reservation if you need Well/cistern/delivery system help. I actually am a 'rocket scientist' and could not have done the job at all, let alone so well!

I asked him a few follow-up questions, which he responded to immediately. We ultimately decided on a three tank system -- the first to filter out sediment, the second to remove carbon (i.e. lead, gasses), and the third to remove pathogens. He pre-fabricated everything at his shop, so the installation time was very quick and efficient. You get a text from him letting you know that he is on the way. After he completed the installation, he walked me through everything and actually had me install the filters myself so that I knew how it all worked. Bottom line is he installs a better system than the big national players at a much more affordable price. I would recommend him without any reservations.

I'm updating my review as the water system that The Water Spot installed in my home has caused…read morethree leaks in ten months, two of which have occurred in the last month causing over $4,000 in damage. The issues that we have with this company fall into two broad categories. 1. Inadequate installation. The company installed our system in a service room in the basement, attaching a draining line to a drainage system in the floor. However, the line was not secured properly and had broken free three times, causing leaks. 2. Poor customer service. I've attempted to call this company three times to discuss our issue. I've left three messages over a week and have not received a callback. After reading another review on google, I am not alone in noticing the poor customer service with this company. Unfortunately, if I don't receive a call back, I will take my concerns to the Better Business Bureau. Shortly after installation, we wrote a very positive review of this company. We felt comfortable doing this because the installation was quick, the price seemed fair, and the water in our home improved dramatically. Now, after three leaks and significant financial expenditure, the first two positive aspects no longer apply -- poor installation lead to leaks and any money we saved will now be spent on repairs. Lastly, the company offers discounts for very positive review. Since we were happy with the initial service, we didn't have a problem writing a positive review. However, this should call into question any positive review of the company. Steer clear of this company. Go with a bigger, more reputable company that will address issues and actually call customers back.

We were initially pleased with his presentation, installation and his follow ups. In November 2019 l awoke to a strange noise coming from the unit. I went to explore the sound and I found the unit spewing a large amount of water onto the floor. I have tried to contact him numerous times, leaving messages and have yet to have him respond. Very frustrating!!! I was forced to hire another company who informed me that they were very familiar with Ben and relayed some very shocking information about his practices. In addition the new contractor was very quick to point out several installation errors that was made. I conducted research before hand an according to the Better Business Bureau his has an A+ rating. According to the Colorado Secretary of State, the business (The Water Spot LLC) status is "Delinquent."
