I met Dr. Pete while hobbling in a school yard being asked "What's wrong?" by this guy I knew as an acquaintance that seemed to have an interest. I had heard that Dr. Peter was a gifted healer, but it seemed like he was a very unconventional chiropractor. After several weeks of treatment I can attest that he is a high energy, super intelligent and gifted doctor and staff who know how to get patients well. When we began the treatment, the plan was laid out like this (but I'm not sure of the terms Dr. Peter uses) 1. recovery - that started with massage (deep tissue, ouch), combined with hot baths, warm balms and all that. 2. light rehab - they have a gym (can you believe it) that's more like a physical therapy gym than a chiro's office, where we started rehab-ing the calf once it was good enough 3. ballistic rehab - tough work outs focusing on strength, balance and quick-twitch muscle use. Part way through, I was going a bit stir crazy following the recovery stage and away from the gym for a few weeks. I departed from Dr. Peter's prescribed regime of stretching only and went for a run. I confessed and received a well deserved bollocking. It wasn't ego, it was a professional certainty that came from knowledge and experience. All I could say was "mea culpa" and promised to follow the instructions precisely. Six weeks or so since the injury, I was finally cleared back to playing racquetball and go to the gym. I played last night. I stretched and warmed up as prescribed; the calf is still tighter than the other side. But I played well and without any discomfort or fear of re-injury. Dr. Peter is the best chiropractor! His attention to detail can not be compared. Yes, sometimes the wait times may be long, but it's because he is extremely thorough with each patient and genuinely wants to know how you how you are doing! You are never rushed. He goes over all your xrays , every detail so that you understand where you are and where you should be! First doctor to point out I have spinal bifida, and fix the curve in my neck! In the first visit, he broke up my husband's scar tissue from an old surgery from 20 years ago! My husband regained full mobility in his elbow after so many years! He adjusts not just your neck and back - it's everything to improve your running, your posture, and breathing! My ribs were contracted, and he knew I was not able to get a deep breath of air when I inhaled. He fixed that! I first found Dr. Peter when a sports injury left me unable to turn my head and with my ears ringing in pain for weeks. Visiting from North Carolina and experiencing pain in wrists and shoulder. Dr Pete was aware of my short time frame in Fl during this visit and was able to see me same day - worked extensively on all areas of my body - explained every move and adjustment and amazingly the adjustments were visible each time he completed one. Continued seeing me until my time in Florida was over. He adjusted from my feet up and explained how our extremities affect every part of our body. Obviously and thankfully, he was so on target. This wellness facility has the best chiropractor treatment I have received in the past 28 years. Back In Line provided a thorough examination that discovered areas in my body that were out of balance. Once these weaknesses were identified, the proper steps were taken to get my body balanced. The treatments were beneficial in that I am able to strengthen my body again without pain. Once you enter the facility after the initial orientation, you are asked each time for specific treatment needs. Great chiropractors! They work on you from head-to-toe on EVERY visit! One of my major issues was my breathing- I was always short of breath. Well, Dr. Peter adjusted my ribs, and when I took a deep breath, it felt AMAZING. It feels great to be able to take deep breaths... This was just one of the many things they do in this office.
