I had my first ever Chiropractic appointment and adjustment with Dr. Alexander Tuft today and it honestly blew me away. Not only was my adjustment great, throughout the entire visit he was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and led with a gentle bedside manner. He greeted me at the front and welcomed me in, ran an elaborate check-up, and took his time making sure my body was in the right place before even making any adjustments. During my appointment, every step was clearly and thoroughly explained so I always knew what to expect. Everything was taken into account and every question was answered. Because Dr. Tuft is incredibly conscious and clearly experienced, it was very easy to feel safe, relaxed, and in good hands. As a patient it is so important to feel validated and considered, and his standard of patient care just blew me away. He truly took his time and there was no sense of rush, pressure, or unprofessionalism in the slightest- the entire appointment truly felt like all appointments should: like I was valued as a human being, being listened to, and professionally taken care of. At the end of my visit he was honest and let me know I was very healthy so I could choose when/if to book, and to me that spoke volumes about the integrity he runs the clinic with. Now a senior, I have been going to a few select chiropractors since I was in my early 30's. Because I am careful when researching and selecting a chiropractor, I generally stay with that person for years once I find someone who fits my needs. Following the retirement of my last chiropractor more than a year ago, I began seeing Dr. Alex Tuft at Back-On-Track Chiropractic and could not be more pleased with the transition. Dr. Tuft uses gentle warm-up pressure/percussion to ensure I am as relaxed as possible before he adjusts my spine. I have gone to him for age-related, sleep-related, as well as "WTH?"-related spine issues and been back to my normal routine, usually within a day or two following an adjustment. In addition to his chiropractic skills and expertise, he is very personable. He is highly educated with regard to good health practices and will suggest targeted exercise routines when requested. He never lectures and he never upsells. (He also has the automatic lift tables, which make a significant difference on those, hopefully rare, occasions when one comes in experiencing muscle spasms and finds it painful just to get on a table.)
