The store is huge, with shelves full of boxes, so I figured was kind of self serve, but then I heard a man ask two staff members for advice on running shoes and they gave him a good explanation of differences among two brands he was considering. So they do have knowledgeable people working. I found a pair of Easy Spirit walking shoes for $4 less than zappos. I wish they had athletic socks to go with the shoes, but all they had was "fashion" socks and some warm boot socks. Yelp didn't have hours, so I took a picture of their sign.

What is it like inside?  Recently I was early on my way to pick up my son from his after school activities, so I finally made it a point  to stop by. The interior is much bigger than I had imagined. I mean, I don't think I've ever been to a shoe store bigger than this.  I was very impressed, giddy as I walked isles after isles of different brands and styles of shoes.  I finally slowed down when I came across something I was interested in, and started to look at prices and sizes. The prices were comparable to other stores, and I was very pleasantly surprised to see provisions for wide width shoes. Big store and big inventory to accommodate a populous of all sizes and shapes.  But that's when my psyche took a 180 degree turn - where were shoes for my size?!  Wait, the smallest size was 9?  I started going through isles looking for the smallest size on the shelves. OK, on a few styles I found some 8.5's but a lot of styles started from 9 or even 10.  Apparently "Super" shoes are the "big and tall" equivalent for shoes.  A bit of a let-down.

I recommend shopping there when they have their BOGO 50%. That's the only time I would justify not going online since the price with shipping would be the same. Service here is pretty lame. I walked the boot aisle, no joke, 10 times. I tried to figure out how they stocked/organized the inventory. An employee just stood around seemingly entertained by confusion.

He followed us around and it was really uncomfortable. Half the store was under construction so it's not like we could walk away. When I was looking at shoes, he put his hand on them and said no he can't try these on yet I'll show you. I was very taken aback and explained I was only looking at the shoe design since the box was closed and we didn't get to even pick them out. I was persuaded into purchasing a pair and told they'll see us in 3 months when my baby outgrows the shoe. That was very bold. I won't be coming back. It was so bad. I understand helping a customer but not even being able to look or think without being influenced/pushed into something stressed me out.

First, let me start by saying that I was incredibly intimidated walking into this store, but the…read moreentire staff was extremely friendly and super accommodating. This wonderful store is located in the large shopping center on Carlisle Pike, and is situated across from the Target and Wegmans. I decided to turn to professionals after striking out on finding comfortable sneakers for spinning and walking. When I walked into the store I was immediately greeted by Fred who ended up helping me select appropriate shoes for my individual feet. The appointment started with a scan of both of my feet. They used a specialized machine to determine the size, width, and arch of my feet. Fred explained that he also observed me walking without shoes to see how my feet landed. He then selected about 4 pairs of shoes for me to start with. Fred was extremely patient as I tried each shoe. It was apparent that he is very knowledgeable and was striving to ensure that I was comfortable and pleased with my options. I ended up going with the On Cloudflyer 4 in the black/white color way. I also purchased the Swiftwick Flite XT socks in the gray/white color way. This is easily the best experience I have ever had with sneaker shopping. I will be returning to the store in ten days to get a second pair of shoes in a different color way.
