These guys are all motorcycle mechanics, and they're all easy to talk too. It's the kind of shop where if they make a mistake they'd be the first to tell you and make things right. Totally comfortable taking any motorcycle here. There were no issues with the tire change; they even cleaned the rims and lubed the chain no charge. Attention to detail was top notch, and the prices. Even though they had an hour left until they closed, James and Ryan went out of there way to allow Jesse to test ride a Triumph Speed Twin 900 and she had a blast and loved the bike so much! This is a semi-new business that was started last year. It is not in a business. It is in the…read moreguy's garage. I'm all for helping new businesses get going, and the fact that their labor rate is cheaper than the dealerships was also an incentive, but NOT worth it! My husband took his bike there for a simple valve inspection and adjustment. At tops, maybe a 4 hour job, with a few gaskets for the parts. My husband has a Ninja 250, so parts are not scarce for this bike. The guy had Tim scheduled at least a week ahead, but didn't have the parts there when we dropped off the bike. Major mistake dropping it off. Started getting excuses about parts not arriving. Few days after dropping it off, my husband gets a call that they dropped his bike!! This guy wants to work on Harleys and he can't keep a 250 upright? In the same conversation, proceeds to complain to my husband about how much it was going to cost him to fix the damage! Now mind you, the bike was perfect when it went in there. Literally, not a scratch on it. And the delays continued. Can't get the gaskets for the valve adjustment/don't know why they didn't arrive. And add the delays for replacement parts for the damage. Couldn't go get the bike because it was in pieces waiting for the gaskets. Was OVER three weeks before we could get the bike back. Had already spoken to an attorney, and was on the verge of taking him to court. And, when the replacement piece was ordered for the damage, he didn't order the padding inside the fairing, so still had to wait for that. When the bike was delivered, the first thing my husband did was reach inside the fairing to see if the padding was there. It was only then that the guy said her forgot to order it. For the slow work and parts, cost ended up being the same as if we had taken it to the dealership. Only reason we didn't pay that is because we took off the cost of replacing all the custom decals that also got damaged. Not worth the money, the time, or risking damage to your bike. DO NOT GO THERE!!

He wanted an extended shift lever for it and literally had it handed to him to install since the guy who sold him the bike couldn't put it on and the "service department" wasn't open on Saturday. Visited a couple weeks ago, wandered in to look at the new KLRs - there were three of them on the floor. I saw two men working but nobody said hello or asked if I needed help. Weird.

It's amazing how a normal stroll down the street can turn into a headache and cause a lot of…read moreproblems. While taking a walk, I happened to pass by a local shop. As a car guy and motor enthusiast, I struck up a conversation with a guy who had a motorcycle taken apart in the garage. It was an old Suzuki, and he said he'd been working hard to get it back on the road. He also mentioned he had experience working on Harleys and told me to bring my bike by. He advised me that other people bring their vehicles to him because other shops mess them up, and he fixes them correctly. Well, I decided to bring my Harley in. It ended up staying there for a whole week. All I initially asked him to do was check out the clutch and fix a short in the front fender light. Unfortunately, this led to more problems. I only ride my Harley about 100 miles a year, if that. When I picked it up, he had fixed the light, but he also advised me that there was a compensator issue and I needed a brand-new one(Which was a lie). While talking to him he told me without telling me that he loosened the bolt and I needed to tighten it. This bike was custom built and never had issues. Personally, I think the biggest scams out there are mechanics, car salesmen, and insurance companies. But it's not all of them! That's just my opinion based on my experiences, and that's the beauty of having freedom of speech in the USA. After picking up my bike, I made it back home, but when I tried to start it up again, it was completely dead. I was devastated. There's nothing better than using a bike ride as therapy through the mountain country roads--just riding, feeling the wind through your hair, and feeling the horsepower right between your legs. It's like freedom or floating on air. I ended up taking my bike over to High Strength V Twin, where I found out that Mike is the new owner. I'm very excited and proud of him for taking over the shop he used to work for; that's an amazing thing. It is clear that Mike and his partner are truly invested in getting their customers' bikes back on the road as soon as possible at an affordable price. I wish them the best, and I know I'll be taking my bike there every single time and referring everyone to them. He took care of my bike in literally one day--the exact same day--which means the world to me. Sometimes I get stressed or deal with PTSD, and like I said, there's nothing better than a Harley-Davidson, a true American bike, for my therapy. I highly recommend this shop, not only because I was in and out so fast, but because Mike helped me unload it from my trailer without me even asking. That shows a lot of character. Not to mention, they also do some paint touch-up work inside, which I am excited to explore in the future. They are very professional and on time.
