My car was having the usual issues that apparently all Chevy Equinoxes have, and when I called, I spoke to Eric and he knew right away what was going on with it and got me an appointment the next day! I was so thankful as I need my car to get to work. He constantly kept me informed as to what was going on... what they were finding... and what would need to be done. He gave me the choice as to what was going to be done.. didn't just do it and then charge me an arm and a leg! It was amazing to actually find an honest mechanics shop and after getting my vehicle back, and quickly, I have never had a problem since. Adam worked magic on that car - demonstrated by his exceptional skills and tenacity for finding the perfect fix for any issues. He not only ran compete diagnostics to determine what work was needed, but found all the necessary parts and expertly repaired the car to get it into fine running condition in a very short period of time. The online system that they use allows the customer to see exactly what they recommend for the type of service, to include photos and videos, along with all the pricing information. They will not perform any work until the customer approves it. They are happy to discuss the issue and provide expert recommendations. They were flexible and very understanding to my unique situation. All their work was timely and professional. Trademark is on Harrisburg Pike up above Bob Ruth Ford . If you're going north on Rt 15, turn right at Wessel's Auto Sales and go up about 1/4 mile and they're on the right, behind an auto detailing shop (Cruzin Shine Detailing). I brought my 2002 Xterra there for an oil change and check up. You can tell this father and son team are very passionate about their vehicles, and those of their customers. They were very thorough, and showed me what my past mechanics hadn't been doing when changing my oil. Their rates are very fair, as you might expect from a small shop. That's important to me. They also explain what they're doing and show you the old, used parts. I think that speaks volumes about their honesty and integrity. They also give you helpful ideas about what else you can do to make your vehicle run better, taking into account your budget and the value of the vehicle. Their real passion is restoring classic cars, muscle cars and the like. If they buy a car to restore it, they strip the vehicle's parts down to the frame and rebuild it. That's a lot harder than just replacing a few parts and adding a new coat of paint. That shows they really know what they're doing. Out of the many auto mechanics I've run across, this is one of the very few I'd feel comfortable recommending my friends and family go to. read more

I really wanted to love these guys. I took my Land Cruiser in for them to do work on and they just didn't do it justice. Specifics: 1. They had the truck for two months. That's a long time especially when, within fifteen miles the truck had broken down. 2. They broke my window and denied it. I was skeptical, like, maybe I was remembering something incorrectly, but, nope -- checking back I found a police report from the day before (it was stolen...long story...) and the window wasn't broken. They tried to convince me it was broken when I came in. Solid work guys. 3. About half a dozen things that they said they either a) were going to do or b) had inspected just weren't. Here, I'm referencing a broken screw holding my throttle cable to the carb, inspecting the engine (there were literally screws missing, rotting gaskets plainly visible after breaking down), the throttle cable was basically glued in place...totally useless afterwards, they put a soft top on and didn't let the glue set -- so, now the velcro holding it in place is useless, and, to top it all off, they didn't even vacuum the car before they gave it back to me. You've got to be shitting me. 4. It was pricey. I've since shopped around and now that I had to get the engine rebuilt -- I'm paying less for that than for four tires and labor. Are you kidding me? I think David is a solid guy, but I'm not feeling his staff. I saw one guy, when talking about a car say, "It's done..." to which David replied, "But is it fixed? It is right?" and the guy just replied, "It's done..." Whoa. Red flag. Should have bailed but didn't. Might be awesome for modern cars, but if you've got a classic, I'd say shop around. I have been a longtime customer of Trademark Classics and I continue to go back for three reasons. 1. Trust - I brought my car in to Trademark for a coolant leak and they fixed the leaky hose. Most garages will replace what's broken and 4-5 other things that aren't to drive up bill. 2. Community minded - they help the folks in Dillsburg and surrounding communities get back on the road as quickly as possible for the least amount of money possible. 3. Quality work - I've never had an issue with their work but if I did, I feel confident they would take care of it. I've been taking in my 2001 Toyota Tacoma to these guys for a few months now. I was originally quoted $1,000 for a rear bumper, a new catback exhaust, and to have my left body mount repaired from one auto body shop to pass my safety inspection. I was recommended by a colleague to try out Trademark Classics in Dillsburg along the Harrisburg Pike. Because I live in Mechanicsburg, and work in Carlisle, it is a little out of my way between work and home. But the experience has been well worthwhile, despite the extra travel time. I took my truck to get these repairs done through them, and to hopefully get the safety inspection passed. They got all the work done in a very reasonable amount of time, they passed my inspection, and I owed them way less then what I was originally quoted for (with inspection after tax, it came out to be a little over 600 bucks). Every little thing I've need fixed on my truck as time went on (new muffler, catalytic converters, shocks and undercoating), they've been doing outstanding work, having my vehicle back to me as fast as possible, and in even better shape then before. They've even gave me complimentary rides to the local diner while I waited, because the labor was only gonna take a couple of hours. In my last visit, since the labor was gonna be roughly 5-6 hours, they even went out of their way to give me a ride back home while I waited, and back to the shop when the repairs got done (I only live about 7 miles away from them). David, Ezra and the crew are all great guys and have been nothing but fair, honest people to do business with. They are very knowledgeable about their profession, they are passionate about cars, and have been very informative in the manner of how they conduct their business, making it easy for someone like me, who isn't well-rounded with cars, to understand. read more

I was about 5 miles down the road from Trademark when I stopped at a gas station and couldn't get the car to re-start - and being from Virginia and on my way to New York, I was completely unfamiliar with the area. After trying to jump start the battery with no luck, the gas station attendant called down to Trademark for me. David drove down the road to meet me at the gas station and proceeded to test the battery and then jam the starter until the car finally started. By this time it was after 4pm on a Friday afternoon and I was thinking the likelihood of my car being fixed that night was close to non-existent, which meant my weekend plans were likely ruined. However, David called down to his shop with the make, model and year of my car and told his guys to do "whatever it took to get a starter from the supplier to get me back on the road that evening." After following David down the road to his shop, I discovered that not only did his team get the starter, but their supplier had gone even more than the extra mile and shown up with two because there were different versions for my car and without seeing it they weren't sure which version I needed. David and his team then stayed open late to get the starter replaced and I was back on the road with no more than an overall 90 minute delay. He wouldn't even take a tip for all his trouble. The experience could have been a disaster, but instead it was a blip on what was a great weekend and I was reminded that there really are genuinely nice people in the world who are willing to help with no ulterior motives.
