The secretary at the front desk is very unprofessional and doesn't know how to verify insurance…read moreinformation. then wants to over charge you without calling and verifying insurance. then wants to double charge your copay after you said you would call to try to straighten it out. first she charged me my co-pay and then she wanted to charge me the same amount again and then when I asked her to call the insurance company or wait for me to call. She got very upset and said I needed to pay so I went to pay and I was not happy. So she walked out of the room and closed the door on me and just left me there in the lobby by myself. Acupuncture is supposed to be a pleasant experience and this was just terrible. Then Lyndsay who was working with me, she was really providing great treatment. But I can't trust their secretary. I don't think I'll come back cause it was a very sad experience!! Edit to add: After speaking with the insurance company they will start an investigation on why they were over charging me. The secretary also said on my first visit I was charged two co-pays of $20 each. My insurance company told me that they only submitted one claim so I should've only paid one co-pay of $10. They didn't tell the insurance company that I was charged and paid two co-pays for that first visit. If anything, they should've charged my insurance company more for consultation and treatment. I only have one co-pay per visit with my benefit. It doesn't matter if I'm having two different things happening. This is a reminder everybody call your insurance company before you get any treatment done so you know exactly what you're supposed to be paying. This would've been the third visit I was overcharged. Lyndsay refunded what I did pay for today's visit and was gonna make sure I wasn't charged for not coming to my appointment. Lyndsay was very professional, but I don't know about the secretary. I gave this place one star because insurance fraud is real. I don't want other people to deal with what I'm having to deal with. A lot of people aren't on top of their coverage like I am. But I used to work in insurance billing and I used to have to explain to people all the time what was covered and what wasn't.

To start with, Dr. Wallace was very responsive and able to get me in quickly. His office is less than 15 minutes from my home, on the corner of 13th & Waller (new location). After completing the standard healthcare paperwork, we talked about my issues and did a short seated spine evaluation. He assessed my range of motion and pain before I laid down on the exam table. Dr. Wallace was able to pinpoint the causes of my most recent pain, noting that my right hip was twisting opposite of my spine and my left side was compensating for the torn ACL in my right knee. The first step in healing was to get on the table to begin adjusting my spine. The exam table collapsed to allow for appropriate pressure to be applied to move things back where they belonged. It had been such a long time since my last treatment, it was evident that it would take some time and attention for my pain to be alleviated. I felt reassured and validated knowing that my back was a mess but not something that couldn't be helped. I held quite a bit stiffness due to past injuries, but was pleasantly surprised after the adjustment and stretching of my spine. I left the office without pain and am beyond pleased after my first visit, knowing we have a treatment plan in mind. I'm certain I'll be back to 'normal' in no time!
