I am donating plasma for a second time. It would be my third however I got deferred (due to medical reasons). What I found is that the staff during the week is more professional and careful with what they do. I came in over the weekend one time and when having my finger poked, instead of the gal pressing around the poke for blood to come out, she scraped the part poked on finger. It extremely hurt. I did show discomfort and pulled back my hand a bit due to it hurting however she did it several times. I really appreciate the time, transparency, & willingness to explain things from the staff that works during the week. Overall I recommend this place however, I personally believe that coming in during the week vs. the weekend is a more pleasant experience. read more

I used to donate plasma regularly when my mother was going through chemotherapy and CSL has been amazing for that. They pay nothing special. I donate to help people and it lets me read and relax for an hour lol. I haven't donated in about a decade at this office since you have to wait a year between tattoos to donate and I like my tattoos, but I hope to start donating again soon. ;) SHTW ;) read more

I wish I could give negative stars. My first visit I attempted with my husband, I was kicked out because children aren't allowed (even when strapped into a stroller and sleeping). So the only way for me to donate is to hire a babysitter before coming to donate which unfortunately isn't feasible with unknown wait times. My husband's most recent visit was an absolute disaster. The person taking his donation injured him so badly he was out of work for a day and a half and unable to lift things including his child. He has a bruise that is progressively getting worse as well. Her name is Jennifer and she works there and she will sit there and harass you about your clothing and political viewpoints without you bringing anything else. And then will report you the moment you get angry with her. She is terrible and very unfriendly! She honestly should not be allowed to work there after the way she treated me with zero type of reasoning just because she didn't like my sweatshirt. Ina Tatiana is so completely rude. No reason to be. She accused me of not scanning my barcode I showed her I did. She continued to be rude after that. She looked like she was not feeling well. Once you check-in, they pretty much hold your hand through the entire registration process, so it's not overwhelming at all. The staff members are super nice and professional. I am so upset with this place, they hooked up a machine incorrectly and drew TOO MUCH plasma last time I came in. Because of this on my most recent donation I had to wait an extra 40 minutes just to tell their doctor that I was okay. Than instead of putting me at the front of the line I had to start at the back. Donation always takes a while anywhere you go but they have a great system down and get you in and out as smoothly and quickly as possible. I used to be a regular donor at the location for over a year, but I was told I was no longer allowed to donated because I smelled like a skunk. I was shocked when this happened, I didn't realize at the time if I smoked (and smelled like) marijuana I wouldn't be allowed to donate. I no longer smoke marijuana, so I will not smell like a"skunk" when I go in again. I was just wondering if I'm still able to donate here again? If so please contact me and let me know. The man in charge here wrote up something, saying I wouldn't be allowed back unless I have a shower bill in my name. So, I believe this incident is on file there. I am living at the same residence and still don't have a shower bill in my name, but I pay $1,200/month for rent + utilities to the home owner, so if necessary I could provide a written statement from them saying I do pay utilities. Also, if I am allowed to return, will I qualify for a new patient bonus? Also- side note- there were MANY occasions (24+) when I was stabbed multiple times with a needle in BOTH arms until she finally gave up and sent me on my way with NO pay. After being there for over a hour. That to me in unacceptable - especially when you're paying a baby sitter just to be there! So, please, make sure your staff is WELL trained in getting the needle in right and If they do send someone away after stabbing them 6+ times, please give them some type of payment for their time. Donors are NOT in there to get stabbed then sent home unpaid. We are there TO GET PAID so, again, please have some respect for us and our time. read more

A great way to earn some holiday cash and do some good! CSL makes the whole process relatively smooth and easy. I am pleased with their thorough screening and physical, they have a great mobile app where you can set donation appointments and see your earnings, and a generous "new donor" pay schedule. The only down side is that the first and second visits can take anywhere from 2 - 3 hours because of all the screenings, etc. But after that, you can generally plan for more like 1 - 2 hours. read more

Long, long time donor here. The staff here are friendly and helpful. The process might take a bit of time, but it's supposed to. The center is constantly cleaned and sterilized for the donors health and safety. The bathrooms are almost always spotless, but you can't help when someone comes in and does what they should have done at home to a business restroom.
