Simply amazing! My shoulder and arm was in terrible pain for weeks that woke me up during the night and had me taking ibuprofen and tylenol several times per day just to get through the pain. I went to my doctor and they did an ultrasound and took xrays, the did blood work, analyzed my mobility, and they couldn't find anything. Told me to take ibuprofen and tylenol for the pain and that was that. Thankfully, I was referred to Back To Life, and Ali specifically by my coach to whom I had been complaining due to the pain of various exercises. At this point I was so desperate for help and just didn't know what to do. This sounds made up, but after two sessions, the pain subsided. It still hurt, but it seemed as though it was improving. After three sessions, the pain no longer woke me up at night and I stopped wearing compression sleeves and took far less pain killers. After the fourth session, the pain just evaporated. This guy has been cracking my neck and back for over ten years with no permanent solution. Huge amounts of information withheld! Even compared to normal standards and other chiropractors. Chiropractors, as complete strangers, gave me huge amounts of useful information compared to this guy. He never recommended nor provided chiropractic tools, methods, and specific therapies such as graston and chiropractic pillow, etc... He even did not give me a posture pump cervical traction device, as well as a pro-lordotic neck traction tool after my car accident in 2015. Just enjoyed receiving the insurance compensation money without caring for me. Other chiropractors in private practice and chiropractic students at the school had to recommend or provide them. Didn't even teach me the methods in order to establish a C curve in my cervical spine. Covid fears aside, people come to him in hopes of having their pain and suffering alleviated as a result of their musculoskeletal disorders, but all he cares about is his profit margins.  At one point, he told me to get an injection in my neck which was completely against medical advice and unnecessary. I had to do my own extensive research over many years in order to heal myself. He only thinks and cares about his investments and income. All this is considering the fact that he is fully aware that I come from a dysfunctional family. People are dying in Iran from a revolution and from Covid worldwide, and he would still care less about people suffering from musculoskeletal disorders. He only cares enough for them to have them keep coming back so he can make more money. He should be ashamed of himself. Obviously, he will go into denial, and claim that he told me everything. However, that's another side of his personality that I prefer not to go into details. No matter how long or how much tolerance and patience that I showed toward him, he treats me like I don't exist. To put everything into perspective, if both of us would have existed around a half a century ago, I would have literally been PARALYZED OR DEAD FROM PAIN AND SUFFERING as I approached my death bed due to lack of YouTube and technology. He claims to be a doctor...I don't believe he is a doctor. Chiropractors are NOT doctors! My personal testimony aside, there's a quote by BJ Palmer in page 11 of the book titled: "Essential Principles of Chiropractic" by Virgil v. strang that states: "vertebral subluxation was the cause of all disease." However, from modern science, we know that bacteria, viruses, psychiatric and psychological issues, poor nutrition, cancer, lack of exercise and external physical forces, genetic factors, certain chemicals, and environmental pollutants are causes of all diseases. Just think about it, if Chiropractors are doctors, then Licensed Massage Therapists, Yoga Teachers, sex workers, and Physical Therapists should be considered doctors as well. At the end, I was lucky enough to come across a YouTube video that was recently posted, and with a few specific stretches and movements, it was all over. As a Christian, he should be thankful that I forgave him by not filing a lawsuit against him. Only God knows, and time will tell how much joint degeneration he and other chiropractic students have caused as a result of all the friction that they have created over the years between my vertebrae and my Intervertebral discs. read more

I was a patient of Dr. Khoshbin and Leann for over a year, they were amazing and so helpful as I progressed from pre-shoulder surgery through post-shoulder surgery. As it's almost a year to the week since my surgery I have, with their help, regained almost all the use of my shoulder. Dr. Koshbin was amazing with exercises and adjustments to help me rebuild my strength and posture. And while the doctor was working on my adjustments, Leann was amazing at helping my muscles adjust to sharing the load instead of tilting to the left to compensate. In summary, they are a great team that works so smoothly and well together, and I absolutely recommend them to anyone who's in need of treatment and real care. Ali, there Chiropractor, is such a nice and attentive practitioner. There message therapist is incredible. I had neck and back pain, and the treatment has seriously changed my life. I had an oblique strain that was impeding my Muay Thai training. Ali did cold Lazer therapy on it, he also assigned the masseuse to do therapy on it. It kept hurting off and on for over three weeks. After my treatment with them, it was honestly healed two days later. I couldn't believe it! I was scared to reinjure it, but its seriously healed. I was referred to a chiropractor after a car accident, but the initial chiropractor was just trying to claim unrelated injuries for money. Dr. Ali is one of the most thorough chiropractors I have seen. I've been twice now and both times he did not disappoint. He listens carefully to what ails you, does a check up, and asks plenty of questions as well (I did not have to get Xrays yet, but he does those as well). He does whatever he can to find what best gives relief. His table is high-tech and he has used it to do gentle mechanical stretches on me to get the blood flow moving, which I have not had done before. I walked away feeling much better both times and look forward to going back more and more. This review is well over due. My husband and I flew into town from Houston on a Saturday to run the Marathon on Sunday. By time we arrived I had a horrible crick in my neck and my husband was stiff from the flight. We called and Dr. Ali fit us in within 2 hours of our arrival. He went above and beyond, totally making sure we were healthy for the run the next day. He even had one of the massage therapists come in to work on the tension in my neck after the adjustment. I've been seeing Dr. Ali (as he is affectionately called) for 1 1/2 years, since he was at Common Ground Chiropractic in NE Portland. I followed him when he opened up his own practice downtown. I've been seeing chiropractors off and on for much of my life, but until I met Dr. Ali, I had never found one that I really liked. Chiropractors can run the gamut ... they can be really bad or really good, but fortunately for us Portlanders, Dr. Ali is one of the latter. Dr. Ali was the first chiropractor I've had who had actually noticed that I had one leg longer than the other, but whenever he adjusts me, my legs become level again. I travel a lot with my job and am therefore seated in a car quite often; I visit him bi-monthly for maintenance, which is a good thing because I'm always out of alignment and my back would be tense when I come into his office. I'm rarely in pain, but seeing my chiropractor regularly assures that I don't get to that level. In addition to providing traditional adjustments, Dr. Ali offers the services of a massage therapist on staff and employs advanced therapeutic techniques such as cryotherapy, interferential electro-therapy, and ultrasound, in the treatment of his patients. Great Doctor, great environment and very very very friendly people in this clinic. I've always felt like i'm one of their family. That been said, Dr.Ali is without a doubt an excellent smart doctor, he knew exactly what i needed and what my body needed as well.
