I have known and worked with Dr. Beeson for approximately 45 years! in that space of time, his youngest daughter, Dr Brie Beeson has joined the staff, specializing in Physical Therapy! The wellness center has expanded exponentially, particularly in the past five years. They have two professional masseuse's on site, one of whom is a Doctor. In addition, everyone from the front desk and staff are very polite and professional! After moving out of State for the past 5 years, I was amazed to experience all the changes. The Wellness Center has purchased a very sophisticated German machine especially designed for treating neuropathy. I recently started a 12 week therapy program designed to not only improve my overall physical & mental health, but to effectively treat my severe Neuropathy in both feet. Dr Beeson seems confident that we can lessen and/or eliminate this issue entirely. After acquiring this illness 25 years ago, due to Diabetes Type II, I would personally be thrilled to reduce it by 75%. I will certainly post my results upon completion of the Program. I could hardly walk when I went to The Beeson Clinic. Excruciating pain radiated all through my left leg, especially my knee. I used a cane and lived on over the counter pain meds. Dr. Beeson took x-rays of knee and showed me how it was out of alignmen. I had been to other clinics, had physical therapy and injection-three series and nothing helped. Dr. Beeson provided alignment, physical therapy, message therapy and the opportunity to have stem cells implanted in my knee. Six months have passed since my injection. I can tell the readers of this review that my pain has gone from a 9 to a 1. This is one of the best things I have ever done for myself. What a great wellness center. I've been here a few times already for massages by Kim. She's awesome. In a this will feel better later deep tissue message. She can find sore spots you forgot about. Always left feeling better than when i came in. Dr. Beeson is (other than a former "Center" for the Seattle Super Sonics.) a kind and pleasant person. I need calm when you adjust my neck. It scares me and if I don't trust you. It's not good for me. (I tense up.) Dr. Beeson is calm and strong. He adjusted my neck with ease and comfort. I was surprised. It is a rare Dr. that can adjust my neck in such a way. Dr. Beeson was awesome. He talked with me like we had been friends for a long time. I was very much at ease in the presence of such a big guy. Can't rave enough about my experience at Dr. Beeson's. Came in with severe pain in my shoulder blade (due to of course bad posture and working with a mouse all day). Dr. B assessed not only this main problem, but other aches and pains I've struggled with. The adjustments felt amazing and the therapies were so relaxing. Dr. Bri was also phenomenal! She really targeted the "angry spot" with very effective tension release, stretches, exercises, and strengthening. I've gone from a pain level of a 9 to about a 0/1. I still have lots of strengthening to do, but I've felt a major improvement! Now about the staff...every single person I interacted with was very kind, personable, respectful, and just great people to have a casual conversation with. They quickly remembered me by first name and made sure to be Trans inclusive/aware of my preferences; my name on my folder, my paperwork, privacy when it came to removing my shirt for therapy, and asking if it was ok to touch my pectoral area for tissue massages. Dr Beeson helped me when no other chiropractors could. I had seen several other Dr's over the years with no relief. I had lower back pain my whole life, sometimes shooting sciatica, and I would brace myself when I would get out of bed because sometimes it would activate when I put my feet on the floor. I was always bracing myself for possible pain. Eventually my body started to rotate downward along the whole right side. My naturopath at the time noticed it and suggested I give chiropractic another chance and said Beeson wasn't like other chiropractors. He was right. My first appointment with Dr Beeson was thorough, and he was curious to find the issue and genuinely showed that he cared. He addressed the issue the very first adjustment. Immediately I felt free! I had no idea I was holding that much tension around what was probably a childhood injury. It was quite literally life changing. After some months of going back for maintenance I now have NO issue with my lower back. None. I'm so glad I gave chiropractic another chance; I know now that not all Dr's are equal. Okay - let me start this off by saying Dr. Beeson truly is a gifted chiropractor & he was able to address the back pain I experienced that other chiropractors could not improve. If my back pain were to reemerge, I would return to his office for an adjustment. However - this clinic can get pricey, quick. They offer a lot of different treatments and modalities and I'd recommend getting pricing info in writing prior to accepting these additional therapies. One thing that has really bothered me since my last appointment was receiving a bill for charges that were priced at a higher rate than the front desk told me. I received therapeutic modalities that we knew insurance wouldn't cover. The front desk told me they would cost $18 out of pocket per visit. I agreed to this cost. A few weeks later, however, I received a bill in the mail that the therapies were actually $36 per visit. I went several times a week for a couple weeks in a row so you can imagine these charges accumulated quickly. I spoke to the billing manager, Vicky, on the phone and she said the front desk staff are only able to provide "estimates" of the charges. What?? Your staff don't know what your costs are??? (I understand insurance can complicate things, but remember, I wasn't using insurance for these services). After reviewing the bill, it looks like the billing codes for the modalities changed after the first visit (when I was quoted $18) which is why I'm now being billed for more $$. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but it's left a bad taste in my mouth. I explained to Vicky that I'm happy to pay the $18 per visit I was originally quoted, but she wouldn't budge. All I can say is ... Dr. Beeson is great. Just go in apprehensive and request written quotes for all your services since you never know when the price is going to change on you. read more

I have always heard great things about Dr. Beeson but never really had a reason to visit, until a recent car accident. I went to Beeson Chiropractic, unable to sleep due to sharp pain and soreness in my upper back that made my nights unbearable. It has now been about a month that I have been receiving treatment from him, about 3 times per week. The areas in which I had pain are no longer bothering me. The muscle in these areas actually feels much more flexible and all of the stiffness is completely gone. Their staff is also very friendly and great about reminding you of your appointments. The massage therapy has also been great and has helped me tremendously in recovery as well. It is so relaxing that I don't want it to end sometimes. This is a contrast compared to experiences I have had in the past at others chiropractic clinics. As for Dr. Beeson, I feel so comfortable when I receive my adjustments from him. He is always happy to answer questions and explain things. Lastly, the idyllic views of the city and oaks bottom park, while you are waiting a couple of minutes, don't hurt either. read more

When I went to Dr. Beeson in February, I was a mess. My sciatic nerve was impinged, leading to excruciating pain down my left leg and my back. Not only could I barely walk, I was missing so much school, I started fearing having to take an entire semester off from college. This was my very last semester and on top of that, I had to finish a senior thesis in order to graduate. Scared, overwhelmed, and delirious with pain medication, I limped in through Beeson's doors - they were my last and only hope in recovering quickly enough to avoid personal catastrophe. Dr. Beeson was not only patient in trying to get me back on my feet, he identified the root cause of my problem very soon after I started seeing him. Turns out my right leg is shorter than my left, AND my hip was severely out of alignment. I was given physical therapy and wore a heel lift under my right leg, on top of routine adjustments from the doctor. While those things were helpful, it was Dr. Dan's calm and cool attitude towards my situation that helped me tackle it as well as I did. He helped me muster much-needed mental strength, even when progress was slow. The staff was also very welcoming. Dr. Dan's faith in my recovery helped me get back into the academic swing of things. By mid-March, I had healed tremendously! I finished my thesis a week before it was due and managed to graduate in time. I would highly recommend Dr. Dan for your chiropractic needs - an experienced pair of hands was a necessity for me and he's about as experienced as they come. read more

I recently became a patient in the past year and my postural problems from work have dissapeared. I have been so happy and comfortable with the results. Dr. B also provided me with some helpful alternative Neurological methods to practice at home which helped me with overall balance and holding my alignments. Pretty cool! After having my shoes altered for more than 30 yrs. to accommodate a short left leg (diagnosed by a previous chiropractor and never re-evalted by others in the meantime), Dr. Beeson quickly determined that the prior diagnosis was incorrect. In fact, it turns out that the diagnosis of leg length discrepancy was correct, but it was actually my right leg that was short, not my left !!! It has only been a couple of weeks, but already there is a noticible improvement in my pain level. Skilled, experienced, knowledgable. Long overdue review: the billing office is not knowledgable or proactive. They continued to tell my husband things were "fully covered" when in fact they weren't. 3 months later after getting many services including add ons that were recommended since they were "free" we received a ridiculous bill stating that nothing was covered. We immediately canceled the remainder of services. When the billing office called they protested that we continued to go after their initial notice. When I proved that we did not, they continued to accuse and protest that we were responsible for the bill. After a month of back and forth they agreed to split the bill and we ended up pay $800. I am sure the service is great as are the convenient hours- however I strongly recommend you look elsewhere as this practice is not looking out for your best interest in the end. read more

I definitely won't be back! I've always heard great things about this facility and the providers they have, but there's no way I can the same. From start to finish the employees were a nightmare to deal with. They were constantly having separate members call regarding the exact same information. Red flags on repeat, I finally decided after two appointments that I wasn't going to back and called to cancel my follow up a week in advance. I received a call that day about an hour before my appointment about a separate billing issue, and was asked if I'd be in for my appointment.. that I cancelled a week prior. They apologized and then sent me a letter warning me that I'd be charged if I ever cancelled within 24 hrs of the appointment again. A month later, I received a bill for services stating my insurance was billed as two separate items, even though the visits were identical. Apparently "Obama care has changed billing" .. way to take responsibility. Vikki and Matt in Billing are a nightmare to deal with and highly unreliable! They will literally give you different answers for the same question, and you can count on them to NOT follow through on anything. Never go here. Ever. read more

I became a patient of Dr. Beeson's about 7mths ago after having a car accident. I was able to get into the office the next day and started my treatments with him the wonderful staff. I did have some injuries that I sustained from the car accident that we found through x-rays and other tests and have been able to keep the pain under control. There is a treatment plan that he has me on to continue while healing from the accident that has helped me improve tremendously. Stay away from this clinic and Dr. Beeson. After the first visit, they make you commit to a certain number of appointments to "cure" your injury. It feels like a factory service with so many people involved. Then Dr. Beeson comes in for a second to HARSHLY adjust you - I was injured more after he adjusted me. After that, they move you to another room to get a massage without asking and say it's part of the service. This is not covered under insurance and comes as an extra fee which is found out later. I have been to many different chiropractors over the last 25 years and this is BY FAR the worst experience I have ever had. This clinic is more interested in making money than your personal care. Stem cell therapy is very costly! Many stem cell providers DO accept Medicare. BEESON REGENERATIVE does NOT accept Medicare for stem cell therapy. I was in a great deal of pain when I signed up and paid $7500+ for stem cell treatment. Stupidly, I was too distracted to discuss if Medicare approved. That was my error, although as a routine matter of disclosure this policy should have been made known to me. That being said, Dr. Beeson and his staff and facility are all wonderful. But they need to communicate billing details much more clearly to their patients. Word to the wise: check around re coverage before handing over payment. read more

When I showed up at Beeson Wellness Center a few weeks back I was nearly incoherent with pain. Dr. Beeson took care of me and started me down the road to recovery by making sure that everything that could be done to reduce my pain and start the healing process was done. He was determined to prevent me from resorting to surgery. He was my advocate. He consulted with the in-house naturopath and allopathic doctors to create a full spectrum plan of attack for treatment and recovery.
