I am so happy I found this company. Dupont actually connected me with them as I live in Los Angeles. I have a Korean countertop that was installed by the previous owner and I got a new stove and accidentally burned it and it cracked. This company was able to repair the work and it looks absolutely brand new. I am so thankful. In addition, I had another spot and my pictures aren't very good, but I had another spot where an electrical cord literally like exploded and caught fire and it scorched the top surface and they were able to fix it even though it was against the backsplash and you could never tell it was there. I am just beyond happy and beyond thrilled. John Bennett was my service technician. He showed up extremely prompt. Actually I realized he was there early, but didn't ring the door until it was the time that they had allotted. He was very friendly. He gave me advice as to how to prevent it from happening in the future, which he asked me to increase the height of my stove. I felt like that was going above and beyond to make sure that I didn't necessarily have to call them back. He also put some heat tape on the side so that it would be better protected for future use as well. He cleaned up. Everything was very kind very courteous and very professional. I had a somewhat complex situation with an old kitchen sink sandwiched between the counter top and plywood. Ive had a very hard time finding a contractor to replace it because it involves cutting the old sink out and cutting the countertop to fit a new sink. Over about a month of back and forth emails and calls (during a larger restoration project), Stephanie helped me come up with a plan to replace this sink and helped pick out a new sink that would work with my setup. Unfortunately when it came time to install they were booked out another month so we had to go with another installer who had more immediate availability but our sink replacement would not have been possible without the planning and assistance of Back to Perfection. Weird company. They're based in California and sub out work to affiliated local tradespeople in whatever area the client is in, so have no real stake in the job. The guy who actually came out and did the work was nice, but this was really just recaulking and tacking up a piece of hanger strap with a couple of drywall screws (I thought there was adhesive involved in properly rehanging an undermount sink and wanted someone who does it every day to do it right), so I grossly, grossly overpaid for something that I could have done in 30 minutes. There are also gaps in the new caulk so I'll have to redo it anyway. My fault for not realizing this was such a simple fix - live and learn. They might be affiliated with some good techs for more complicated problems, but there's no way to know who you'll get given their business model. read more

I was completely surprised that you could repair a Corian product!! I own a property management company and needed to find a solution to a clients home with major damage. They were not thrilled about replacing the counter top. I did a YouTube search about Corian repair. I ran a search and found this great company. They came out within 48 hours and had restored their damaged counters back to new! We opted to have the sink restored as well and refinish the entire counter. I was so impressed as were the owners. Our Tech explained how he corrected the cracks but fixed the poor installation that caused the problem in the first place. Our tech received a call about a fire near his home but stayed to compete the job. Hopefully all is well with his home and family. I was referred to Back to Perfection by another business and so happy they referred me here! I worked with Stephanie, project manager to get an estimate on my work- fixing a broken countertop. I was referred to BTP by DuPont for out of warranty repairs and a inspection report. This group is a preferred, or high volume, warranty service provider for the manufacture apparently. The repair service was adequate and rated in Yelp independently and I can barely see the repair done. BUT buyer beware there is limited follow through and if you have any problems with your service it could be a bumpy road. If you have integrity expectations then deal elsewhere. The company lacks ethics from the top to the field as they see fit to take confidential liberties without your authorization and disclose details to other parties. Hmmm definitely a no bueno. With the high price tag, they provided me a written 2-year warranty on a repair of a crack on my granite countertop, which didn't last even a year. It took me a couple of months to be able to talk to Carl while the crack grew almost twice as the original size. John came to my house to repair a long crack in my kitchen granite behind my sink and also to reinforce my sink that had fallen away on one side from weakened support. He fixed my granite so that the crack is now practically invisible and reinforced the sink support underneath. I was very happy with his work. Flaky! Dishonest! Do not use! I made an appointment and received an email from Darrel, requesting all the pertinent information. I responded to that email almost immediately, including a signed contract and received my appointment confirmation, including date and time. A few days prior to that appointment, I received another email requesting the same info. I knew this was a dishonest way to reschedule my appointment, but responded to the email anyway, including resending the original email. Darrel, the sales rep that had originally received all of the original emails, played dumb, acting as if this was all an honest mistake and that he needed to reschedule. OK, fine! We rescheduled. This morning, less than an hour before the technician was scheduled to arrive, I received this text, copied and pasted: "Hi this is John with back to perfection. I'm the technician scheduled to replace your sink. I'm very sorry but we will need to reschedule do a medical situation that just came up. Darrel will be contacting you to reschedule. John, the Tech from BTP is a true master at his craft. I had a corian counter in my bathroom that had a 6 inch wide "banjo" that covered the toilet. Every time the toilet had an issue it was impossible to work on and had to be replaced. So, John removed the "banjo" piece and was able to make the routed edge on the corian look identical to the way it does everywhere else. Just amazing. We searched for 2 years to find somebody to replace a kitchen sink that was mounted under a granite countertop. The sink was odd-shaped and no longer in production. Finally, somebody suggested we call Back to Perfection. We sent a photo of the sink area and they said it could be cut away and a new sink put in. I explained my issue (crack in my counter) and that my counters are over 20 years old. Within 24 hours I had a written estimate, with what I felt was a very reasonable price.
